Inside, floor to ceiling windows look out onto a little lake--what an inviting place to curl up with a book! Staff is also topnotch. They're very friendly and helpful, and many know me by name. I'm always sad when the city rotates the librarians to other outposts, because it's like losing a friend. Negatives? The heat/ac can be really wonky. I hate to see the staff shivering or sweating. It is a highlight of mine and my daughter's. I love the chance to win a prize and I end up reading my books much quicker. Staff helps me pick when I get genres I'm not used to, and I have enjoyed their recommendations. I usually get holds very quickly too. If you ever need to print large quantities of paper, do it here! Much cheaper than any other place. If you need activities to do for you or your kids, you will find something here. This particular library is my favorite precisely because it's small, understated, quiet (I know all libraries are meant to be quiet, but this one is extra quiet), super simple, and has extra-easy parking since it's located in a strip mall. It's literally next to a spa/salon. There is always a table available to set up camp--and while this library is little, I've never felt rushed or like I'm taking up too much space. They have plenty of computers, copiers, and printers. A nice clean bathroom with several stalls. A really cute and perfectly sized kid's area. The staff is always happy, kind, and looking to help. I've spent countless hours here and look forward to many more.

I went to the first counter and told the lady that I was there for a new library card and she asked me for my id or something with my address on it. I told her that I had a picture of an envelope with my name on it and she said unfortunately they could not accept this. She was so nice about it and told me that they are open until 9pm. I was able to find something with my address on it and I returned. I was able to get my library card and I went to the information desk and asked if they had the books on my list. Both of the ladies behind the counter were so nice and helpful. Unfortunately none of the books I wanted were available, but they were at other locations. The awesome ladies recommended a few, but I had either read them or they were not available. I ended up checking out their rows and rows of non fiction and fiction books. I finally decided on a Liane Moriarity book. I told the ladies what I decided and they were so nice and supportive about my choice. I used their self check out, which I love and checked out their community wall. They have tons of activities and events going on at the library and online. With your library card you can get tons of free e-books.

Huge points up for the plants, the ample parking, the decorative atmosphere, and the sparkling level of cleanliness. You wouldn't expect what's inside the library if you saw it only from the outside. Don't judge a library by its cover. At the same time, some points down for the hassle in getting connected to the WiFi, as well as the searching required to find outlets. There are a wide range of seats available, from personal desks, to shared tables, to eclectic chairs that will fit your fancy. Definitely a library worth checking out!

I really appreciated how they always stayed on top of new releases and would order highly anticipated books to have them on hand when they came out. They also have a really efficient process for putting books on hold and picking them up when they're ready for you. One of the features I think is the best is their "library of things." Now, instead of just books and computers, you can also check out various items to help around the home (tools, cooking, etc.) I've since moved to another side of the state and I miss this library often. I highly highly recommend that anyone in the area get their library card ASAP.
