I came in after class to make a deposit into my account and a line started forming. One teller stood there counting her money very slowly and the other two tellers were sitting there chatting and taking forever with the other customers transactions. What should have been a 5 minute wait became a 20 minute wait. These people need to get their customer service in order. The TD Bank branches are much faster than the ones here in NJ. If I wasn't down here for class then I would have done my transactions in NY. read more

The building and location is nice.. That's where it ends. A large building with very few people working, worse yet know one is concerned about the customer. When a business opens at 8:30 I may be crazy but I expect the people who work there to be there too. Is that too much to ask I guess so because me and the person in front of me had to wait 10 minutes before someone showed up at the counter. The worst TD bank service I ever received!!!!! I asked the teller to provide a certified cheque, he took the money out of my account and got his manager to approve it. He started saying you dont have enough money for this cheque. I was shocked I told him I have enough funds. He started laughing with his manager without addressing my concern. I was shocked and was waiting patiently for an answer. After his manager left I asked him what's going on then he is like I took out your money for the certified cheque didnt realize that I did. Because of the coin counter this place deserves 3 stars. I hate accumulating coins in my wallet so I usually leave it in a piggy bank until it accumulates. There is no extra charge for using the coin counter if you have an account with td bank. As for the rest of my banking experience it's usually okay. The staff is generally nice. The place is clean with no weird odors. Lots of windows so it's fairly bright in there. read more

Dont ever buy their gift cards! I had 2 that apparently started draining after a year of disuse. We tried to use them and even though they "active" you need a PIN. We put the pin on and registered them and still no dice. Went to this branch and asked for cash and "sorry, not our policy", you have to put a PIN on it and use it in a store. Sure, we'll do that again. I will get my money. Ive filed a complaint with the federal government. Be warned. read more

Piscataway branch has mixed staff so depends who you get. I had worst drive thru. experience. When I got to drive thru, there was one car and two employees at the window. Few mins after other car left, lady yelled how can I help you. After I gave everything for deposit, I said if balance can be printed on receipt. There was no reply. After 8-10 mins my deposit slip came with balance. No thank you or if I needed anything else. worst customer service experience at TD. Been td customer for long and this branch is always slow and customer service depends on luck who you get. read more

Worst bank ever, through the realtor i was using to purchase a house they brought this guy name Alex cruz a rep from td bank, a total conartist person unethical. I got approved for a conventional loan and he waited till the loan expired 3 months later to tell me i was over qualified makinG too much money and here is this loan which was way higher and total different from agreeing at begining. Which i turned down. So since i turned it down he contacted the seller of property i was purchasing and told them a lie and giving them information about my wife and me. I've been to a few of these and I will never go to this one again. I would rather drive 30 minutes away then to deal with the people here. I went in yesterday to open a joint checking account and savings account with a friend, this should have taken maybe 20-30 minutes, it took at least an hour or more. The woman was terrible and slow, budding into our conversation and checking her email when she should have been making out accounts. She kept trying to tell us to get a convenience checking account when I clearly told her that we wanted a Student one because it was free, no fees and no minimum. She tried to explain to us that it was only $100 minimum for the other one and we said no because we would never be sure if there would be $100 in there and we don't want to be charged. We told her we worked for RU and that we were allowed to get free checking through them (I've already done it before at Whitehouse Station TD, so I know you can). She kept trying to tell us no and asked if we were students and we said yes we are and showed her our IDs. After taking WAY too long we made our accounts. The next day I check my account online and she gave us the WRONG account after we had sat there for an hour telling her what we wanted. I called Customer Service and was dispatched back to this bank and they tried to tell me that they would need a student ID before they could do it, WHICH I DID SHOW HER. After explaining to the woman I had already done that yesterday she said she would change it and it would take a few days. I won't be going back here. Ridiculously slow. read more

I really like the service and convenience of TD Bank. The only problem with this one is that they don't have any foreign currency. They don't order it for you; you have to go to the next closest TD Bank in Edison for foreign currency. It's not like I was looking for something extremely exotic; just about 100 Canadian dollars. And the tellers can't help you with getting/exchanging foreign currency either. You have to talk to a banker and may have to wait a while for that. Other than that, I recommend this location to others. read more

No enough staff available. They have 5 to 6 different counters to assist customers but only one person is available. We literally wait for 30 minutes and they said very easily we don't have other people to assist you, you have to wait. read more

Quite possibly the worst branch in America! Went in to do multiple transactions and the teller takes all of my account info and social security info into the back area with him. Once I realized what he had done I asked another teller why he went in the back and voiced that I was uncomfortable with situation--she did not even attempt to get her co-worker for me and simply replied, "oh he has to do the transaction in the back"....with all of my personal information?? After speaking with the manager, he too brushed off the situation by saying he simply trusts his staff. Avoid this place at all costs -- rude, incompetent, and unprofessional staff from the tellers to the managers!! read more

I tried to take out cash for rent, and was shorted $200. Because I noticed the error 10 ft away from the building instead of while inside it, there is apparently nothing they can do to recover my money. They also charge a $15 per month fee for no apparent reason and have an awful website that is difficult to navigate. I have closed my account and will discourage anyone from banking with them read more
