The line is long, finished my deposit here on 12:15. But i rather give one more star cos this loxation is convenient, is next to Citizens, so is great for Citizens bank lover like me who has accounts of two or more financial companies. I do not know why the manager cannot even one day fill up all those teller workspaces with all employees they have. First time I was here I had to refill my meter 3 times. Beside taken over a hour to open my business account, they end up getting that wrong which led to another hour on the phone at night. Second visit isn't so great either. The line is always long. Being 5th on the line, about 3 people just left without service. I don't think anyone are trained well here at this branch. Interior is big to fit all the people the people they made to wait. The line to the teller is ridiculously long and confusing. Everyone ended up waiting at the door if the first person didn't move forward. The pennies machine still doesn't work. Either get rid of it or replace with water machine so all the waiting customer can relax on their 20 minutes wait. I highly suggest go to the other branch by metropolitan if you have a car. I have yet to find a professional and effective TDBank branch. We came here to get something notarized. Waited 20 mins while the girl punched holes in paper. After she felt like enough paper had holes in it, she came over and we told her we need something notarized. She replied, "There is a notary across the street." To which I said, "Yes. But we are here." We had already been across the street and The notary isn't in. Apparently she was miffed she had to stop hole punching when the guy across the street could have been doing this. Next she started looking through her belongings for her notary stamp which she said, " I think I left it home." Alright then. We did wind up getting it done but a super pain in the bootie for something so simple. read more

Service is patchy at best. You wait in long lines in the evenings & sometimes, tellers are completely incompetent or downright rude. They also have people standing behind the counter just watching the lines and doing NOTHING. I had to wait for over 15 minutes in a long line at 3 p.m. today and it seemed a supervisor was needed for approval for EVERY SINGLE TRANSACTION. TD is a great bank but this branch stinks with long lines and if you get an incompetent who can't handle a basic transaction. Go to a different branch and you'll get better service. read more

So, after moving to NY I was forced to open a new checking account; I used a small local bank back home. After waiting a month, I finally decided to go here instead of BOA.. and I'm glad I did. It's the only bank in walking distance near my house, so that is a huge plus. When I opened my acct., Alex, the customer service person helping me was awesome. He was very pleasant and asked me about my recent move, etc.. Genuinely nice guy. I chose paperless statements, so there is a $2.99/mo maintenance fee and that's that. They also print your debit card that day while you are there, so I thought that was pretty neat. The bank itself is big and new-looking, and so far (2 visits) have been great. The employees are very friendly and I think I made a good choice. Oh, and the hours are awesome... 7 days a week and they open at 7:30AM most days and are open till 8!! Thanks TD. read more

I came into close my account in protest of TD Bank investing in the Dakota Pipeline. They didn't close the account as I requested and then processed to charge me FIVE OVERDRAFT FEES IN 3 HOURS. Slow? Yes. Rude? Yes. There has never been any sense of urgency in any workers there. It took me few tries to open a checking account which I should've never done to begin with. When I'm dressed nicely I'm normally treated fine. But whenever I go there with basic mundane look, they treat people really badly. I like the security guy though. This place is really bad. We waited to talk to a customer representative and she was really rude. I asked her a question and she just replied in a very rude way that she was not allowed to give that type of information. I think she did not know the answer of my question and that is why she decided to be rude instead. While we were waiting to talk to someone, there were big lines and they only had two tellers. Was forced to open new account when moved here... Nothing but bad experiences at this branch! Always extremely long lines especially for customer service. They close very early... And I ordered checks from them they sent the wrong ones went back waited an hour to speak with a customer service representative reordered them and still sent the wrong ones! The few times that I have been there the line for customer service has been longer than the lines to see the tellers. Which tells me I'm not the only one having issues... Terrible bank. Went to make a transaction at the teller and they wouldn't accept my valid State I.D. or Veteran's I.D. . I asked the manager politely what they do accept and what is their policy, and she rudely refused to explain herself, and told me to, quote, "Use the ATM" . TD Bank has been a collection of the most painful banking experiences I've ever had. I've been trying to close my account for 2 months! All I have received was a bunch of back-and-forth calling, switching between representatives and Branch employees and managers, I was given specific directions by this branch, I followed them, and here I am 2 months later still trying to close this off. Everything I was told I did and have gotten no results whatsoever. The management at this branch is poor and ineffective when it comes to resolving issues. At first, banking was easy, smooth. But further down the road service became poor, and every employee here that I came in contact with on the phone has been nothing short of incompetent or unfulfilling. I am glad that I will no longer be banking with TD, and that I won't have to speak or affiliate myself with this Branch's inability to do their job right. I had two accounts there for many many years. At the beginning I was very satisfied and I recommend it to everyone. But everything went downhill since then: -The staff became very rude, and extremely slow and unprofessional, -ATMs & Coin counting machine are often out of order -They no longer clean in this location (candy wraps are all over the floor). -Even the music changed. It used to be a nice, calming, jazz music, now it sounds more like z100 radio station. I don't know whether it is because the place is understaffed or they don't earn enough. But it is very disappointing and unpleasant. I started to avoid this place and started to use telephone, and message service when I needed any TD Bank service. However, even that changed recently. The people on the phone, are untrained and they give you misleading and wrong information. I became fed up with them and so I decided to close the account today, and no one even asked me why I am closing it. You are just a number to them. RANT OF THE DAY! I went to close my account today and there was a guy with his mom waiting for a banker. They were waiting there for at least 20 min before someone from the staff, approach them. All they wanted was to open an account. The banker ( Manager, I assume) told them to come back tomorrow because they are closing in 15 min and they need at least 30 min to open an account. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Really TD BANK? Technically, you can't kick anyone out, if they are there 40 minutes before closing. It is not clients fault that TD Bank has poor time managing skills. I came into a branch in Manhattan and tried to deposit a Check for $662.00 but nobody in td bank took the time to call me or text me or email me to bother me in anyway now I was 0.67 cents overdraw gave td bank $1.00 to make my balance zero.and I left and went to my local branch on Myrtle ave and spoke to CARYL & she told me that my account was closed for 60 days when I just my disability Check on Dec.1st so how can my account be overdraw when I received my whole Check on the. 1st of dec.now CARYL was very rude,obnoxious, couldn't care less attitude as. Where do I begin with this 'bank'? The first time I came in, took a seat waiting to open an account, and basically made eye contact with the whole staff, and not one came to assist me, welcome me, ask me what I was there for. Until finally one lady finished laughing at something hilarious on her phone, and came over to assist me. The process was quick and painless I was out in less that half an hour. Ever since, it has all gone downhill. Every time I go there is a line winding around the bank, one teller behind counter, the other two doing who knows what, most of the time staring aimlessly at the computer screen, other times talking among each other, throwing around profanities at times (actually CURSING in a bank in front of the whole line). My personal favorite is the one time I came in with my husband and the teller helping me and the girl next to her were speaking in Spanish basically making fun of my name and my 'people' and how we smell...aka Bengali people...little did she know that I took two semesters of Spanish in college, I left in disbelief and shock at this show of professionalism. I haven't had the chance to go back but am definitely closing the account. read more

This TD bank provides the worst banking experience that you can possibly imagine. The free pens is about the only reason it didn't get one star. It's always packed and understaffed. Be prepared to wait 20 plus minutes every single time you need to speak to a customer representative. My debit card has never been canceled so much due to what they perceive as fraudulent activity, big inconvenience when I'm trying to buy something at the cash register.
