The WORST customer service ever. Zero stars.
I had insurance with them previously and ended it as I was no longer using my car. I wanted to get my car on the road again so I thought it would be a simple phone call but noooooo.
I was told I needed to fill out a long form. Neat. I head to their office to pick up said form and thought I could fill it out and be done but nooooo. They don't have the forms. What? The office in Toronto had to snail mail the form to me. Good stuff. 2wks form arrives and I start to fill it out but there was a lot I needed help with such as exact dates etc. Back to the office I go. The 2 girls at reception said they weren't allowed to do that. That job is for the guys upstairs. Ok get me a guy upstairs but noooo. The upstairs guys do not come downstairs. I asked to make an appointment but nooooo they couldn't help me anyway because completed form needs to be processed by another office which, in case you are wondering where that is, it's in NFLD! Really?! Ok can we scan the form and email it like its 2017? Nooooo
Awesome. So home I go, fill out the form which I KNOW is incomplete and mail it to the office for them to mail it to NFLD. At this time, I am told it can take up to 4wks to be processed as it is first come first serve. Swell.
After 3.5 wks(yay!) I get my form returned to me as it's missing information. I am not surprised in the least...we established that. Groovy. Let's make a phone call. Basically an entire day of phone calls back and forth due to "I need to ask my team leader I'll call you back" and a dropped call and the ever so pleasant hold music Bruce told me that I need to fill in the missing info and snail mail it to NB and he would give me the direct address to save time. Yer freaking kidding me and right? Save time?? And hold on, now it's NB and not NFLD? WTF? Ok so this is when I snap and snap I did!!

One of my conversations earlier in this shit show was recorded and lucky for me it was the one ramping up to the snapping, not the actual snap. The woman I was speaking with doing the recording was actually lovely and asked my permission to send the recording to the team leader and I agreed. Que the hold music and let's bring Bruce back now.
Huzzah!! Bruce is so happy to tell me they are willing to complete and process and approve and take payment right now! Not so fast Bruce. Imagine me now, levitating with anger, finding out this CAN actually be done over the phone. It's now close to 5pm and I can hear in his voice he's tired and wants to go home ever so bad. Too bad so sad. I wanted answers dammit. So I asked every question I could think of to run the clock, I mean I spent a month waiting so Bruce can settle in and get comfy and wish he hadn't played the long con with me. Let's take a moment to think hard about one particular scene in this epic quote quest. Me, NS. Car, NS. Plates, NS. Inspection, NS. Insurance company, NS. Why the hell did paperwork have to be mailed to NB(also why was I told previously NFLD) and why didn't their office stock the paperwork people need? Bruce and I went back to that question a few times and trust me, it was ever so fun for me.
Ok Ms Redmond, with taxes your insurance will be X and how do you want to pay? Visa or Interac?
Slow yer roll Bruce my new best friend! I've decided I do not want insurance with your company, in fact I'm going somewhere else that is 150.00 more.
