This company was dispatched by AHS (which by the way is a total waste of money). The technician, Trey, told me one thing - "I've just got to submit my report to AHS for approval and I'll be back." and after not hearing back for a few weeks I called AHS. The service call had been closed. AHS was told by the technician, TREY, that he forgot to submit the claim which is why I had not heard anything. So now that they spoke to Trey, the summary is that the whole system needs to be replaced, which is NOT what I was told when Trey was standing in my garage. I repeat his name because i just got off the phone him. He's claiming he knows nothing about this service call because he's "just a dispatcher" and not a technician. Tried transferring me to the ghost technician who was going to explain the diagnosis to me. When I called him out on it, he denied being the person on a ladder in my garage, telling me it was something wrong with the motor. Which IS covered by AHS. DO NOT USE TDH. Ever. Just buy a new system on your own before you let these people set foot on your property. Don't be fooled by the positive fake reviews. *NOTE: If anyone has dealt with Trey, they'll know he has a very distinct voice. So distinct I almost commented on it when he was working on the opener. Tech came out and gave a false report to American Home Shield which made my claim denied. He stated that the garage doors had to be replaced and my garage doors are in perfect condition. The spring is what is broke and covered under my policy. This company is very unprofessional and the Serior Tech Tim is as rude as he can be. He said he was located in Georgia and had to come to SC to give an estimate to AMS fir the repairs. Don't use this company. I will never have them back in my home ever again. This company is a total SCAM. They will try to get you to pay them for service you do not need and that are covered by you warranty company. They will lie and say nothing is wrong to the warranty company then try to get you to pay them for repairs directly. The low reviews are correct. Definitely do your research before they scam you. read more

If I could leave 0 stars i would. Horrible customer service. They set an appointment and never showed up. I had to call them several times for them to say they will come in a couple of hours but I had to go to work. They made a 2nd appointment, when the window was almost up I called to see if they are still coming. They stated they forgot to call and tell me they cant come because they didn't work the day before and they are booked up the rest of the week and dont know when they can get me in. Home warranty company cant switch it to another company because they already paid tdh. Now im stuck with having to pay another company to come out. I do not recommend this company. If your home warranty tries to dispatch you to these people, RUN, especially if don't live in Georgia. I have tried calling them 3 times during the listed business hours. I left a message with my number each time, but I have not received a response. My guess is they provided a service area of the South East to the warranty companies and get random dispatches they don't respond to. In comparison, I sent a online request to Aladdin @ 9pm, then a text within an hour from a tech asking me what time would work for me tomorrow, sending pictures of the door and spring so they are prepared. I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service I received. After reading the reviews, I called the warranty company and asked for another company. I didn't know my mother had already set an appointment. I was ready to raise hell if they did not come as promised. I came over for the appointment just to see if they were going to show up. The technician showed up when scheduled and did a really good job. He explained everything and showed us what needed to be replaced. He didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't need and gave us a discount on a new operator. Thank you TDH! read more

They booked an appointment with me for 8/5/25 11-3 pm. Never showed up. When I called they told me my appointment was for 8/6/25. When I said I had a text message with the appointment they lied and said their truck broke down and they would come the next day. I couldn't afford to take off another day and risk some other nonsense. I immediately contacted my home warranty and told them to assign me to another company. The company came out that evening and repaired my garage door. Customer service is extremely important and TDH doesn't have any!!! read more

Customer beware! They charged me for a repair and then billed my home warranty company for the same repair! They lied to me saying that the spring replacement was not covered with my home warranty company lying that I needed a garage door alignment which was not true! They only replaced the spring!! Do not use this company. We were charged $365 to have our garage door rebalanced. The track is still loose and the the hinges are bent. They told us that we just need to replace the door and it would cost 3,000.00. They told us that they don't take cash or check only card and there is a 3% charge for that. read more

This TDH company out of Macon, GA, does not have integrity and is very unprofessional. We used them through American Home Shield. TDH technician showed once for an appointment and was supposed to return with a part for our garage door opener. We received an email from them about a non-covered warranty charged of $125 in which we authorized them to charge us. We had to contact American HS again after almost two weeks because we did not hear back from TDH. American HS put back in the service request. They set up another appointment with us. Had us wait all day long but they never showed. American HS said TDH told them it was going to cost us more than paying for the logic board and they came of with a fee American HS said of $1,294. Still, they never contacted us again to do the repair. We had to ask American HS for another company so a technician from a different company came to fix our garage door. We were without garage door opening for over a month fooling with this unprofessional company. They also lied to American HS about communicating with us. I will never recommend them to anyone and certainly not my family that lives near Macon. read more
