I engaged TDR Electric to provide electrical services for house renovation. was built in 1950s and we have decided to refurbish it. Electrical changes were a big part of the renovation. The project was difficult due to several factors: bringing the old electrical system to current standards, investigating mystery outlets (we had a few outlets that did nothing) installing new fixtures, changing requirements and resultant rework (scope changes - I had bright new ideas during the renovation, typical scope creep that does not give me credit) and scheduling dependencies. Taylor Ross and Kory (our primary electrician) were professional, efficient and knowledgeable throughout the project. I trusted Kory with our house alarm code so he could proceed with work in my absence. One project was especially complex - we had PVR, Bose, and our computer connected to a LG smart TV. I purchased a electric vehicle charger online and made a note upon purchase that I required install and was contacted by Taylor from TDR Electric first business day of the week in the morning. We set up a time that an electrician could view the site where I would need the install to give a proper quote. After meeting with the electrician, I was provided a quote via email very promptly. I also received another quote from another electrical company for the same job and although the other company's quote was lower, I felt like I had a better rapport with the electrician that met me on site from TDR Electric that was going to be eventually doing the work on my site so I decided to choose TDR Electric. When the time came to do the electrical work, the Electrician showed up as scheduled and job went smoothly and I am very pleased with the job the guys from TDR Electric did and I would highly recommend them! He showed up on time, is knowledgeable, efficient, didnt try an sell me anything, and promised to send me an estimate within 1 business day. Received the estimate the same day. Taylor was fantastic. He showed up on time to review the work, and also returned on time to complete the project. Mid project we encountered an unexpected glitch and Taylor had to go out for additional wire. He persisted in overcoming the problem, which took him extra effort, time and material, BUT held to his cost estimate, even though I indicated he could charge more. Taylor was able to schedule someone right away to come and remove a number of electrical boxes. Aaron our electrician was awesome.
