    Internet was going out every two days for a few hours at a time. I called and spoke to a…read morerepresentative every time to see what was happening. They let me know all outages were SCHEDULED!! Why would you schedule outage during the daytime/work week? A lot of us work from home these days. I think they could find better time to service. Beyond the outages, our internet service has been extremely unreliable. When online the service cuts out to where we have to log/sign in to portals (work from home) 6-10 times throughout the day. The internet service is glitchy at best. My husband called and made an appointment to have a tech come out and address our issues. The day of the appointment they sent a text to me (see picture) on my phone. I responded C. I confirm. The text said they would be here shortly. With that information my husband went out front yard to wait for the tech. In the meantime, for an unknown reason they then called my husband's phone, inside his office so he didn't answer (cause he was outside waiting for them). Because he didn't answer they put our service call on hold and dismissed us because he didn't answer. But wait.... I already confirmed. Their automated system is a joke. We already confirmed to come. Now time taken off work was wasted because they will not be here like they said between 8 - 12. Now it's 8 - 8pm!!! I called again and the attitude I got was ridiculous! I asked for a supervisor and he didn't do any better. All they did was make excuses and defend themselves. Now the tech will be here between 3-4pm. Poor customer service. It's a monopoly as they are the only option. Good luck if you move here. You will pay to be mistreated. If I could leave them I would do so in a heartbeat. Almost $400 a month for cable and internet... that barely works and customer service redos that value themselves more than their customers. Hey customer service do you feel better? You won. I have to wait all day for service I PAY FOR!!

    I scheduled a service call and provided Mediacom with a phone number for contact. They sent an…read moreautomated message to a number not associated with my account to confirm the appointment. That person cancelled the appointment, completely unknown to me. When I called to see where the service technician was, they informed me I had cancelled the appointment, which of course I hadn't done. They could not reschedule the appointment for the same day and only offered dates when I was out of town. Frustration!!!!!!!! I guess I'll just watch TV with no sound, which I was trying to get them to fix!

    I originally had American Alarm and Audio in Milton Florida install a security system in my new…read morehome in 2004. This company was bought out by Red wire based out of Tallahassee Florida. I updated the system for access to open the garage doors and front door, turn the system off etc. I am not sure when this took place. I have no problem with the system it's self. I reached out to them when i decided to put my home on the market, they did inform me that a 30 day notice need to be sent to turn off the system. I put my house on the market the Thursday before Thanksgiving, received an offer on Friday and closed on the 10 of December. I did not anticipate this quick of a turnaround, especially since it was the holiday's. They kept the 83.00 and said that I should get around 20.00 or so refund. That is just not right. Having a security system for 20 years and am penalized because i did not give them a complete 30 day notice. I will never recommend Red wire security system to anyone in the US. Especially in Tallahassee Florida, the accounting department of red wire only care about money, I had this terrible experience on the 16th of December.

We are new…read morebusiness owners and have been ignored by the Tallahassee branch and shifted to collections. for $372. 3 days after they sent us a notice of a bill we were contacted by a collection company threatening to sue us if we didn't pay $4500! (Yes we owed a balance and paid late but we paid it in full) We have not had a working system in months and last call a repair guy showed up and didn't resolve the "door sensor". Our alarm triggers during working hours and continues to trip every 10 min after it has been disarmed. We offer spa treatments and have been completely embarrassed when this happens and have had countless complaints from our clients as their services have been disrupted. We stopped using the system due to the faulty alarm and just due to the hassle of it. They are trying to sue us for the cost of service for the next 5 years. We paid our outstanding bill of $370 in full and are being harassed daily by their aggressive collector. For the record we have not received one call from them prior to this and only one final notice bill in the mail which was last week after they sent us to this collection company. If I treated a client like that I'd be out of business.
