Yelp requires entry of at least one star in order to write a review; think no stars. 10/23/2015 Based upon five star Yelp review I took my slow computer in to clean out obstructions and take whatever other appropriate measures. The intake form to be completed by the customer requires that all problems be stated, and (in bold characters) that no problem not stated would be dealt with. If I knew what my computer's problems are I wouldn't need to have a professional repair it. This outfit might be okay for the computer savvy, but apparently they don't care to have to figure issues out on their own. Not user friendly. read more

Do not let the awards fool you! I chose this company for the fact they've gotten good reviews and have won many awards. However, problems began for me when I had to call on my own (weekly) to receive updates on my computer. They had not called me specifying how much my cracked screen was going to cost (which they said they would call me before ordering the part to make sure I was okay with the price), they had not called me when the company they ordered from for my new screen, had shipped the wrong one (resulting in an extra week for it to be repaired, would've been nice to know that). And in that same call, the man I was speaking to had said someone HAD spoken to me about the price (I find out later they had mistaken me for another customer, showing unprofessional-ism and being unorganized). In about a week or so (on a Friday) I receive a phone call saying my screen has been replaced and they just need me to drop off the charger so they can make sure everything works. I was confused and worryingly let the man know I dropped off my charger when I originally gave them my laptop and it was in the carrier, in which he responds "There was a carrier...?" and I responded with a very confused "Yes..??" and he then said he would call me back after finding it. I get no call that day and they're closed on the weekends so here I am stressing they lost all my stuff. I had to call MYSELF (again) that following Monday explaining what the situation was wondering if they ever found my things. The new man stated he didn't know why that employee had said that, since all my stuff was in a nice pile all kept together and saying I can pick up my stuff whenever I'm available. I ask for a discount explaining everything I have been through and the effort I've had to put in to keep track of my own things, they tell me to come in and the manager can sort that out for me, they also said they were going to double check and make sure everything was working fine so I wouldn't have to come back with problems. When walking in, I met the Service Operations Manager (Bill) and he tells me my touch screen now doesn't work but he gives me a discount making my total from $150 to $120 (with tax that still led to me paying $129 however) and I do not have to pay anything extra for the touch screen being fixed. Happy with this, I leave it again and request they call me with updates and when my computer is ready. Bill was very good in keeping me updated and feeling safer leaving my stuff there. He told me the day they receive the parts they need (he was hoping Friday), that same day Bill would make sure it was fixed; and he did! I only had to wait four days and on Friday Bill leaves a message saying it's ready for pickup. When I come to get my laptop and return home, the keyboard doesn't work. None of the buttons were reciprocating and I called Bill on a Saturday with the number he gave on his business card to me letting him know. There were no problems in returning my computer again to have it fixed free of charge. That same day (or maybe the next day) I get a call saying my computer was ready and all fixed. I WOULD give this company one star, for all the driving back and forth I had to do (on weekdays only when I was available before they closed at 5:30), for not calling me before buying the part (which they told me they would, if I didn't have the budget for that part, I could've been majorly screwed), for the unprofessional-ism I experienced with mistaking me for another customer when it came to telling me the price for my part, for implying they lost my charger and case, saying they'll call me back and never doing, then to have another employee telling me that wasn't true at all, and for messing up my keyboard when I thought the frustration was all over (and for messing up my touch screen). (Side Note:I understand how messing up the touch screen could happen since they WERE working on the screen itself, I am still boggled by how they broke my keyboard. Bill did mention how a wire could have gotten unconnected or something with travel? I didn't even ask for more information because I wanted to just leave so badly but if that means what I think it does, it means my keyboard stopped working because they weren't careful with my things, they weren't careful when handling it and that is what they're supposed to be experts at. At taking care of people's technology.) BUT I am only giving them two stars for repairing my touch screen and keyboard free of charge and for also taking 30$ off when I requested a discount. Also for one of the managers stepping up, making sure I was getting the service I wanted in the end. What I learned from this was I should've written down everyone's names I talked to and I hope the company has learned to keep better track of their customer's necessary services and phone numbers. read more

My name is Toby. I am a disabled Senior Citizen and computer geek. I currently am blessed to own 4 computers of different types all with the latest software and processors. ( I do have an older I7 Core preocessor that is 3 years old). I initially had a situation that was well beyond my level so I tried On Call. They provide service that excedds expectations and the cost was 89 dollars as advertised and including reformatting and partitioning a new Western Digital HDD for the laptop, restoring the older version of Windows 7 and all the programs in less time than advertised. I just bought a new Touch Screen Samsung and before I turned it on I called On Call Solutions. 850-668-8780 ....I cannot recall their names ( Senior remember?) The only possible complaint is a group of ladies swinging sticks in the lobby for some kind of class.....hope their husbands were gentlemen the day before because they appeared angry but not a part of On Call.
