Took my boat to Al two years ago. He redid my upholstery and carpet. He also did a service on the…read moreengine. Which included replacing the spark plugs. Recently, I took my boat to a mechanic who serviced the boat and said that Al had put in the wrong spark plugs. One of the cylinders came up below compression when it was checked. Also, when I initially picked up my boat, some of the seams on the upholstery did not match. I had to leave it with him to fix. Also, they broke the ice chest that was part of the original equipment of the boat. He tried to tell me that it was not him. I told him he was the only person that ever touched my boat. If you want your boat repaired with Al, be prepared to go back multiple times for touchups. I will never go back to him.

They refused to RELEASE my boat or accept a card payment. I was forced to involve local law enforcement. When the sheriffs arrived, they confirmed that the business could not legally refuse card payment under these circumstances. Despite this, the staff and ownership were hostile, unprofessional. Kyle, the sales person I was dealing with is fantastic. He has a great attitude, very knowledgeable and extremely responsive. Kyle got my trailer all taken care of on the business end and then turned me over to the service department to complete the work. Everyone in the service department is top notch. This has been the only boat repair service that I've ever left happy. All of the guys in the service department are very helpful and friendly, which I am not used to when dealing with boat people. They gave me a tour of their entire facility which is new, indoors and quite large. All of their repairs seem to happen in a large, clean and fully stocked Costco sized warehouse. They even have a fiberglass shop and paint booth. This place is fully stocked with Outboards, general boat gear and everything you could possibly need. It's extremely clean and well organized. Like anywhere else that's top notch, you might pay just a little more but it's definitely worth it. Worth it enough that I was inclined to write this review over a boat trailer. If you want a quality product with quality service to back it up, these guys are definitely who you want to go to.
