I was so happy to see all the precautions they're taking to keep themselves and customers safe. Masks, gloves, sanitizer, and cleaning between guests as well as having folks wait outside for their drinks. I really appreciated it. We came with a regular who highly recommended the shop and ordered the medium Taro milk tea with honey boba. FOH staff was very friendly and pleasant. I am not the biggest fan of bubble tea but the honey boba was amazing. The tea was so amazing I finished it quickly. I then ordered the large mango green tea with lychee popping boba and it was the best mango tea I've ever had. The lychee boba tastes just like lychee and I couldn't get enough of it. This shop was such a great find! My friend and I came in for the first time and was immediately greeted by a welcoming employee and she helped us pick out our bubble tea drinks. I went with the matcha macchiato ( does not have coffee in it btw) which is topped off with a sea salt foam and crystal boba on the bottom and oh myyyy was it so creamy & delicious..it hit the spot! About the Tea, i ordered 2 large Jasmin Milk tea with Alo Vera and honey boba. I drinked a lot of boba tea in so many years. The jasmin boba tea was upscale tea. The owner took alot of time to make all the drink. This tea was made from the heart. The drink was NOT made from the power. It was made from the real jasmin tea and the real milk. This place is awesome! The honey boba is your standard black tapioca boba cooked PERFECTLY with a light honey taste. I got the Thai tea boba with 50% less sugar, it was delicious, the Thai tea was lightly sweetened and the perfect ratio of milk to tea. My friends got the matcha, taro, and another Thai, but with crystal boba. The texture if the crystal boba is... interested, but I prefer the original back tapioca pearl bobas although they preffered the crystal (2 of them were having boba for the first time). Don't waste your time. There's better boba tea by Dadeland called Imperial Tea. I bought a Taro Milk Tea (already know what it is supposed to taste like) and when I tried theirs, it just tasted like milk with a pinch of the taro powder. Mind you, they don't sell the drink with the balls included. You have to pay for them additionally and they are specifically flavored, not the plain ones. I was upset and asked them to please add more flavoring to the drink. The nice girl in the front said "that's how we make them". I just told her directly, look it tastes like milk. Is it possible for the person in the back to put extra powder? If not, it's fine. She asked and my drink disappeared for a minute or two. When I got it back and tasted it, it honestly tasted as if they just added sugar to mask the milk. This place is the worst. Don't waste your money. Probably the best in Miami. I came here because I love boba tea and since it is so close to the house I had to try it. The store was very nice and clean. Minimal decor and plenty of seating for a tea house. They have a cute little wall when you walk in that is totally instagram worthy. They have different teas that you wouldn't normally find. I got the hazelnut milk tea with 50% sweetness and I still thought it was too sweet. I also added boba and it was perfectly chew and had a honey flavor. They also had other flavors that I will definitely come back for. Like the green tea machiato. My friend got the jasmine milk tea and it was perfect. There was a nice strong tea flavor and it was very balanced with the sweetness level and milk. Also one of my favorite things about milk tea and boba is the sea salt cream. WHICH THEY HAVE. It gives the milk tea such a different dimension and flavor that will change your life about milk teas. Great little spot with a variety of teas to choose from. It's a little pricey but the drinks are delicious. The only thing I didn't like is that if you are not familiar with the drinks, you don't really know the taste of what you're ordering and the person serving the drinks doesn't really explain well what it is that you are ordering. My first experience with Bubble Tea was YEARS ago at the place in the Dadeland Station parking garage. They didn't explain anything and I wasn't impressed at all. The burst of those jelly things and flavor change threw me off. I was looking for something to cool off in this heat and found TeaJito on Yelp so I decided to go check it out. Boy am I glad I did! First off, the man that helped me out was extremely nice and explained their menu very well (thank you!). I was just going to get a drink but he convinced me to add Boba (the thing I did not like with my previous experience). I got the Matcha Milk Tea with Crystal Boba. Delicious! Tried this place out with my kids and I have to say, this a cool new addition to the crossings plaza! Pretty extensive menu and helpful staff to help guide you through the ordering process. I was a bubble tea virgin so I appreciated the guidance. We decided on strawberry smoothies with honey boba for the kids and I had a matcha macchiato with chia seeds. If you order from their confusing menu and they give you the wrong drink, they will not remake your drink the way you want it unless you pay them another 50% of the cost. Whatever happened to good customer service and just preparing the drink order at no extra cost? They definitely lost a customer. The menu does not specify that classic milk tea has black tea. The young lady did not say black tea. I assumed that classic milk tea with strawberry boba was the one I purchased 7 times before. In the future I suggest that your staff clearly explain this to the customers. I did see the sign and I never asked for a refund. I love this place it's probably the best boba in Miami tbh. The service is incredibly fast and amazing, the drinks taste so good and genuine. I loved this tea! Everything this was delicious. I am giving this my California seal of approval. I was very thirsty and was craving a boba tea but didn't know if one in Florida, as I'm visiting from CA. I tried 3 different teas- even though if you ask me in person, I may deny this but I had the lycheeholic and it was the best lychee drink! It has pieces of real lychee fruit and I added the honey and crystal boba, it was sweet and refreshing. I also had the lychee mango mojito and it was light and refreshing and for those who are over 21, this a great base for a an adult beverage. And to the most delicious surprise, the Matcha Macciato, I was nervous to try this as it is topped with a sea salt foam and the matcha tea is the base but this drink is my new favorite! The drink is smooth and flavorful - I wouldn't add any toppings with this drink, but I would absolutely get this again. Teajito tucked away in the shopping plaza like a little hole in the wall across from the kid's karate center next to a barbershop. Inside is very refreshing with neutral tones and greenery, tidy, and they placed marker around for social distancing. The server was attentive and friendly; when I asked her for a recommendation, she was confident with selection based on my taste. Since it's fall season, I went with pumpkin spice. There are options on the types of bubba/boba, so I reiterate I am a novice. The server recommended their house flavor infused with honey. I took her up on the suggestion and was pleased with the results. For a milk tea, with pumpkins drizzle and honey boba were an excellent pairing. The boba was a light soft texture and easy to chew. I was a loyal Teajito customer until today. I visit 1-4x's a week & buy 3-4 teas each time. The boba is really good hence my loyalty but the lack of customer service has ruined this location for my household. I made a mistake and did my grocery shopping prior to buying my families Boba. I got to Teajito with my shopping cart in tow and perishables. I was by myself, just me & my shopping cart and got in line. There was a family of 5, and another party waiting for their drinks inside to the left and 2 customers ahead of me. The cashier, singled me out in front of everyone by telling me to move my shopping cart outside the store. I should have just left, but I promised my kids boba so instead I asked the cashier if I could park the cart on the left side away from the guest, in the a/c, where I can keep an eye on it (there was more than enough space and it was out of everyone's way) after a short pause and an intense stare down by the cashier she finally relented and said sure. The purple haired employee, has taken my order on numerous occasions and has asked my kids and I to wait outside. Not everyone is asked to wait outside. When it was my turn, I placed my order, paid, and was asked to wait outside. Mind you, there were other parties of 2 and more waiting inside and the only person asked to wait outside was me (1 person). I asked to speak to the manager. That was an even bigger mistake! To not cause a scene I asked the manager if she wanted to step outside to speak in private, she refused, instead asking me to meet her at the entrance to the counter on the left. I approached her and before I could speak, she immediately ASS-U-ME-d it had to do with the shopping cart & said the cart is not allowed in the store (By the way, there aren't any signs saying leave your groceries outside, shopping carts not permitted, or you may be asked to wait outside). A true manager would have first asked how can I help you, second heard me out, and third rebuttaled politely (such as: I could see you weren't aware, don't worry this time, but be mindful next time not to enter with the cart). I tried to explain this was my first shopping cart infraction but not the first time I've been asked to wait outside when other larger parties are allowed to wait inside for their drinks. I explained this cashier has singled us out before. The manager replied saying I was not being targeted, the employee in question was just doing her job, & has only been with the company for a month therefore she couldn't possibly be targeting me. When I suggested she review the cameras she replied she was not going to go through hours of camera footage. She implied she didn't have time to speak to me since she was working the back, she was argumentative, and when I stated she severely lacked management skills she replied she's been the manager since Teajito opened. At that point, I just wanted to leave & asked for a refund since my tea was not ready. She denied the refund saying the tea was ready when it wasn't. I waited for my teas to be made, while watching the manager point at me while talking expressively to another employee behind the one sided glass window they think hides them from the front but doesn't actually hide them, news flash I can see you being unprofessional. I got my last ever boba from Teajito and left. I now know why the employees are lacking basic customer interaction skills, the manager herself has no management or customer service etiquette. Maybe she chooses to turn a blind eye since they are short staffed and now hiring, or maybe they don't care to lose customers since the "Boss is not from here and will not get involved" - the manager's words not mines. read more
