You choose your rice foundation, your proteins, toppings etc. I ordered the "small bowl" and got spicy salmon, ahí tuna, and tofu on top of sushi rice. For toppings I had crab meat, green and white onions, dried seaweed, sesame seeds, and miso sauce. The food was so good. It hit the spot perfectly. The salmon was fairly spicy (I have a high spice tolerance). The portion was also huge. I should have really only had half lol. It was pretty pricey, but again for the portion it makes sense. I had the bowl and a bottled water, and I tipped 15% and it was $27 plus change. I was the first one there as I walked in right when they opened. The person working was friendly, and someone even took my tray for me when I was done even though there's a place for you to throw away your trash and place your trays. This is the first time I've had a poki bowl where the fish exceeds the base! I got takeout from Poki Bowl recently and was astounded by their portions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Poki bowl is from San Jose and the decor and vibes definitely matched that. There were cute signs and claw machines in the corner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was friendly, though the person serving us accidentally added mango when we asked for masago. Thankfully we were planning to get mango anyways, and he was apologetic about the mix up. I got a bowl with two scoops of protein but got what seems like closer to 4. They also packed a large amount of greens in to my half greens half brown rice bowl, and it was the nice, fancier lettuce too. There was barely room for other toppings once the fish with mix-ins were added to my bowl. Crab salad, avo, and seaweed salad cost extra, but I was surprised to see that edamame was extra as well while masago was included. Regardless I got almost all the toppings and had a massive bowl. The fish and toppings were good and the lettuce was crisp, but I think the shortcoming here was the sauce. The default amount of sauce for mixing was way too large and included far too much sesame oil. It unfortunately overpowered my bowl a little and made it a bit too greasy. If I come back I will definitely ask for less sauce mixed in with my fish, and perhaps more sauce drizzled on top. Overall a great quick place to grab a healthy meal when shopping in this area. Just be sure to ask for less sauce, or at least less sesame oil! read more

Poki has been a lunchtime staple for me since I first discovered a resaurant serving it near my Connecticut home. As it became more popular, better and better places opened and I became a regular at one that emerged as my favorite. So when I moved to Miami, I feared not finding one I liked as much. But Poki Bowl Kendall was among the first I tried and I had to look no further. So many choices and all are good. I usually choose the four protein option which means i don't have to choose! Not to mention it is a great portion of fresh fish, toppings, and mix-ins. The service is fast and they deliver through the ususl services. They always get the order perfect, it tastes great, and the utensils are always in the bag. And for the quality, the price is more than reasonable. My go to proteins are tuna, salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy salmon. I have also tried the shrimp but they are cut a bit small for my taste. I get it either way all the veggies and most of the toppings. I like that I can combine sauces to get the exact flavor and spiciness I prefer. But it doesn't stop there. They also serve the best boba tea and have amazing desserts. Poki Bowl is really a treasure that I am happy to have found, my go to place for poki and boba. read more

After holding my cravings for bubble tea near the area I was in and I found this on located in Kendall - Town and Country shops! They don't have small cups they only serve medium and large. I ordered a fruit bubble tea of a combination of strawberry, and passion fruit and it comes with typical tapioca balls. The service is was quick and fast to order and grab a seat. Poki Bowl is located along the outer band of Town and Country's strip mall, away from the trendier lake location. This means you can come dressed however you'd like and grab something to go quickly and easily. If you prefer to eat in the restaurant, rest assured that it's clean, has a fresh feeling because of all the cool colors in the decor, and has high tops, regular tables, and a few outdoor seats. One drawback was the price. While the bowls are priced similarly to some other Miami poke locations, I'd expect either lower prices or more generous portions of protein in this part of town. There was a nice variety of toppings and the person helping us assembled our bowls nicely. They also have a variety of sauces, going beyond just the mayonnaise based sauces to include things like miso dressing and eel sauce. For beverages, they have fountain sodas, canned and bottle soft drinks and alcohol, and a couple beers on tap. If you haven't eaten poke, this is a good place to come familiarize yourself with it. There is clear signage explaining how to order and listing what proteins, sauces, and toppings they have. They're friendly about answering questions as well. I'm sure I'll return for the convenience, cleanliness, and decent bowls, but for the area this is a fast casual restaurant that is on the pricier side. read more

I am glad for a bubble tea place right in T&C mall. It's next to 24 Hour Fitness. They have about 10 flavors in black or green tea. I tried the green tea and it has a nice tea flavor and the bubbles are done right, chewy and not too hard or too mushy. Got it for lunch so I hope the quality stays high throughout the day. They offer 4 types of base (white rice, brown rice, greens and chips) and 3 scoops of fish (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, spicy tuna, octopus) with the regular bowl, and you and mix your options, which is great. However the toppings are rather limited, and some like seaweed salad and edamame cost extra. Also, the presentation of the bowl could be better. Using an ice cream scoop for the cubed avocado is not the best idea. The holes on the shaker for the furikake is too small and hardly any of it landed on my bowl despite some vigorous shaking. The girl topped my bowl with a mountain of ginger slices. I counted like 30 pieces afterwards, many the width and length of two fingers... That's more ginger than what comes in one ginger shot to kill a cold, lol. The staff definitely can use more training. With a small menu and items that can easily be sampled (we are not talking wagyu steak or whole lobster here) the management should be able to get the staff familiar with all items. A generous-ish 4 for now as I definitely find many better poke options out there, but hopefully things improve when the learning curve is over. read more

The girl really needs her stuff and made us (first timers) understand how it all worked fairly easily. Pick a size bowl then add protein and toppings and sauces. The sauces are on top , no fish or crab meat is seasoned. I'm used to have a crab salad with some type of Mayo or something. This was all added on which made it nice to have an option but also a bit dry. The spicy Mayo was sooo spicy. It felt like eating a lot of hot sauce. Not a fan of that much spice in my crab salad, would recommend ordering it on the side for those non spicy lovers. The fish was fresh and a bit large in the size of chunks, some of the tuna bites felt too big and uncomfortably chewy for my preference. The rice was nice the topping were good too! My slight complain was that the edamame was addition charge and the avocado too which would be ok but the avocado was like a tablespoon literally a tablespoon for almost $2-3 usually if I'm paying for avocado I'm expecting at-least half to whole avo. Seemed expensive for the amount I got. Overall the service was great the food was decent and the portions were good. Biggest let down was the boba tea, I ordered passion fruit...it was dirty water with little to no flavor and tooo much boba. I let my sister try it and she asked me "what flavor is this , doesn't taste like anything". She was 100% right. Lots of better options as far as boba, I'd skip that. read more

I'm writing this review to share my opinion for others who may find it useful. The ambiance is clean and comfortable. Service was very nice and prompt. I ordered a regular $18 bowl which brings 3 proteins. I'd like to point out this place charges $2 for edamame and $2 for seaweed salad which is a bit too much. Overall, I would recommend this place however, there are poke places which offer all toppings included at lower rates. I don't feel i'm getting my moneys worth as I do with other places and for a $24 bowl without tip (which I still leave because it's the right thing to do) is too much. Food used to be awesome from here. Lately it has been horrible. Ordered it today for me and the family and the rice was not cooked. Called in to speak to manager and no manager available when I voiced my concern Michelle the young lady on the phone laughed and said rice can't be raw. They check it before the batch goes out. So either it's old rice or they don't know the basics on making rice. This is the second time this happens and the first time I didn't even get a call back from the manager. update & upgrade from my other 4 star review. so i found out that the overbearing saltiness of rice i experienced last time was from the spicy "sauce" they add onto the fish & herbs that seeped through the rice. don't get me wrong it's STILL VERY salty. but i believe, just like starbucks, you can ask them to put less pumps of the ponzu+sesame seed mixture; as they put 2 pumps of ponzu mix + 1 pump for mild 2 pumps for medium 3 pumps for spicy. maybe 1 pump of ponzu or no ponzu at all & just do the straight 3 pumps of spicy if you like that kick. (haven't tried this yet, but i will try the latter if & when i do come next time) since the scallions are not cooked, you will also be getting a strong flavor from it too. this could be a good or bad addition depending on the person. read more

Absolutely disappointed in this place. I overheard a girl in the nail salon talking about getting food there and I had to butt in and tell her it was a waste of money. NOTHING is ever fresh! The tuna and salmon are always dark, the "chips" are never crispy, the seaweed salad taste like fishy water and to top it off there's just not a lot of options. Not only is the food not good but the service is absolutely terrible! Even when there's nobody inside of the stores and I can clearly see that there's no Uber orders or online orders I somehow always happen to be in there for at least 20 minutes. The girl that's there always takes her sweet time acting like if she doesn't see anybody inside of the store. I've also given this place numerous tries.
