I have been going to this establishment for years. I always get the coconut milk, tea with almond milk, and it is wonderful! The taste is always the same, which is why I always go back. The service is pretty good, they aren't the friendliest, but I am a returning customer due to the quality of the drinks. The place is very small and clean. This place does not get enough love. I've been coming here for 4-5 years and it's always consistently good quality boba. You can tell everything is mixed fresh (unlike some places who use pre-mixed tea/milk flavors so you can't make sweetness adjustments). I love that they have a wide variety of tea flavors, several boba/jelly to choose from -- and most importantly MILK OPTIONS (regular, almond, soy, etc). I love milk tea, but milk does not love me back. But here I get to order my favorite milk teas (classic, Thai, jasmine) without hurting my stomach - and without sacrificing the flavor. We visited the store on a Tuesday morning at 11:00am, no line, no waiting, the store was empty. One worker was there to wait on us. The interior of the store was super clean and everything was is it's place.. the interior was rather large, and I'm sure before Covid, they had tables and seating. Seems like they could get away with half the space and still run a successful Boba shop. We decided on the Banana Boba Milk Tea with Strawberry bursting Pearls. They have a decent variety of Milk tea, shakes, floats, to smoothie options on the menu. There are many options of bursting Tapioca pearls (which I love over the chewy boba pearls). FIRST AND LAST TIME! Never again! I purchased a coconut smoothie with brown sugar gelly. I assumed the "brown sugar gelly" was the normal Tapioca boba. I did not like the gelly and asked the worker if those were their tapioca boba balls since I had not seen them. He then continues to state that they were not and showed me where they had the tapioca (which was in a container to the side) I requested to please have my smoothie changed and they said no. Bubble tea has become my latest obsession. Unfortunately for a fairly new place the service here is lacking. Although this place has great options plenty to choose from I feel unwelcome when I'm there. No one greets you. No one speaks to you until it's time to take your order. On this particular occasion there was a party of three in front of me they ordered six drinks so I probably waited in line for a good 10 minutes. There were two employees but the second employee was busy fulfilling Uber orders. No one came to pick up the Uber orders yet I was ignored until the gentleman helping the group in front of me was done. I gave it another try today. Different employees still no hello or acknowledgement when you arrive. No other customers but me. If you've never tried the flavor Taro, it has a creamy feel to it and has a sweet yet light taste of vanilla. Boba world offers lots of other flavors as well; along with smoothies, they have teas, ice-cream, and little snacks and drinks. The employees are always quick and friendly. Best of both worlds when I can have boba tea, my husband can have a coffee drink and my kids can have their ice cream. They have a wide variety menu from smoothies, to coffee teas, ice cream, coffee. The place is clean, the staff and manager are really nice. As we were waiting for our drinks, the manager enforced socially distancing by asking people to wait outside. Even when people were in the line and getting too close, he asked people to step back. Our total price for small banana tea with strawberry boba, two cups of ice cream (2 scoops each) and cinnamon Oreo ice tea was a total $16. Horrible service. Older gentleman, who if I remember correctly was bald, was extremely short and snippy when I asked questions. Very skimpy on the boba even when you ask for extra. I will say the selection of jelly and popping bobas was the largest I've ever seen! My husband said his strawberry slushy with mango jellies was good and I got the "green milk" tea with boba. The green milk is essentially Matcha which I'm glad because they don't have Matcha on the menu and the man refused to explain to me what GREEN MILK is he just kept saying it's green milk. Asked him what does it taste like... he said "it tastes like green milk." It was actually pretty good Matcha tea AKA GREEN MILK! The regular tapioca pearls are minis which is fine with me but again I wish they would've put more. Boba World is a quick, clean and fun boba spot! I got my favorite taro milk tea! When you walk in there's a huge chalk wall on the left and keep walking towards the back there's a HUGE aquarium where you can basically see the cast of Finding Nemo! They also do sell little snacks. The boba was chewy and it went well with my taro milk tea. I think however it was waaaay to sweet for my liking! It did however do the job of satisfying my craving. I barely have time to mourn the demise of Chatime Brickell, when today I went to Wing Fa to pick up some veggies and guess what I found! A brand new (opened 3 days ago) bubble tea place in the same plaza! This place do not serve food, just bubble tea, hot coffee and ice cream for now. For bubble tea, they have smoothie style made with fresh fruit, according to the owner, except for a few like lychee and taro where syrup or powder is used. Smooth cream is an ice cream based smoothie, with names like Pina Colada, Strawberry Cheesecake, Death by Chocolate and Superman (which I imagine a five-year-old may want). You can also get it as tea - green tea, jasmine tea, Thai milk tea etc. For the bubbles - I find them a little on the soft side but owner said that's how "Americans" like it. I suppose it's kind of like pasta - not everybody considers al dente as perfection and some actually like it on the mushy side. Besides the tapioca option, you can also get them as jelly or popping boba. Chatime's quality it is not, but the Venezuelan Chinese owners are very friendly, and I'm really grateful that I don't have to drive to NY Mart or Foodtown to enjoy a bubble tea while shopping for grocery. Therefore four stars for now, with possible updates after future visits. read more

Oh how I miss New York bubble tea. This place is so mediocre, but unfortunately they are one of the few around that offer this treat, so I kind of have no choice, when I want to satisfy my craving. Located right off of sunset in a large shopping complex, they have a large store front and plenty of seating. Every time I have visited, the place is always dead. They do have a good variety of flavors, but I don't find the boba to be prepared the way it should. I wish they would re-vamp, or try to spice things up, because they really need it. So far I have tried the Passion Fruit Green Tea, and Almond Milk flavor. The green tea was fine, but the Almond Milk tea was lacking flavor. Cute, clean store front and a big selection of flavors and toppings to choose from. Not a fan of the bubble tea though. It's overly sweet and artificial so the drink leaves a weird aftertaste in your mouth. I tried a green tea milk tea with grass jelly, and it was too thick and syrupy for me to finish. There were also some hard bits in the drink - not sure if it was from the grass jelly or the green tea itself, but it seemed to be either hardened clumps powder or bits of plastic? I enjoyed their chocolate flavored milk tea and tapioca pearls a bit more, but the drink still left that artificial aftertaste. I appreciate that there's another bubble tea option around. But unfortunately, this is a far cry from the standard I think bubble tea should have. read more

It's been a few years since my last visit here. They finally have non-dairy milk options and I tried the Taro milk tea with lychee. This was delicious! Not too sweet!
