The two men that work the front where I check my car in are very polite and have great customer service. My car comes out super clean after each wash and there are employees at the end who wipe the windows and insides down and dry the car off. The only complaint I have is that the vacuums don't have great suction. (The use of vacuums are free with each wash BTW) I have a dog and when I want to get all of the dog hair out of the carpet it can be somewhat difficult. I would recommend coming to this car wash located on route 34.

Inside you can watch your car get wet, lathered, and rubbed down the entire way. Theres a small desk where you can pay along with a huge assortment of air fresheners to purchase. When your car is done, employees hand dry your automobile down, and there is a tip box if you keep inclined. This place gives your automobile a decent wash if you don't feel like doing it yourself or if you have no other option.

I signed up for the monthly unlimited for $17.99 which was about $2 less than my old membership in East Brunswick. I love that you have to be a member to use the vacuum cleaners... and speaking of the vacuum cleaners... man, I LOVE that machine that cleans your mats in seconds! The vacuums are super strong as well. Customer service was very attentive and walked me through the process when I seemed to try to figure something out. Oh and they gave me a free upgrade to platinum during my first visit. I'm very happy with this business.

And he gave a great assessment beforehand and clearly explained what he'd be doing in the detail package I got. Judging from my "before" picture, it's pretty obvious that my car interior was not in good shape - tons of dog hair, dirt/wood from a camping trip, sand from the beach, etc. And judging from the "after" picture, these guys clearly know what they're doing. Not a single strand of hair or piece of dirt existed on the interior once they were done. And the hard surfaces had an amazing shine. Not to mention, smelled fantastic! As far as the exterior, I've never seen my car in better shape. A&J was even able to buff out some scratches that I've never had luck with myself. Even the hubcaps looked brand new. I dropped my car off in the morning and got it back by the end of the day, which is miles faster than the timeframe other detailers gave me. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my experience with A&J. When I returned to request a refund, the staff had to call the owner who said they would only refund six months of overcharges. They also refused to provide any receipts or written confirmation of cancellations. After I left, I only received a refund for one month, not the six months promised. I've been a loyal, respectful customer and always tip. This was handled poorly and unprofessionally. I strongly recommend that anyone with a membership check their bank statements carefully.

A broken antenna--belonging to another vehicle--was lodged in the drying apparatus. That antenna spun and scratched the entire passenger side of my car. I noticed the damage immediately, took photos (including of the antenna), and reported it right away. At first, the staff appeared to accept responsibility and instructed me to get an estimate for the repair. I followed their instructions, got a quote, and returned within the hour. But once they saw the cost, the story changed. Suddenly, I was told they'd need to go through their insurance--and that I'd have to get a second estimate. To make matters worse, they refused to provide their insurance information or take further responsibility, despite acknowledging the damage. Here's what's most frustrating: 1. I'm a full-time student--I came here expecting a quick 5-minute car wash and left with $1,500 in damage caused by their equipment. 2. I followed their instructions exactly and provided one estimate as asked. 3. I'm a long-time customer with a full-service unlimited wash plan. Is this really how you treat loyal customers? 4. Despite the damage being obvious and well-documented, I was forced to spend time filing a police report, chasing down estimates, and dealing with a complete lack of resolution. This experience has been incredibly time-consuming, stressful, and disappointing. I expected better from a business I've supported for years.
