The short: Team Delta is a great company, who hires great people to do great work!!! Our saga: It started with a leak. Our home warranty company sent a gentleman from Halo Plumbing to fix it. They did a great job. Unfortunately, our walls ceilings and floors took on a lot of damage. The plumber referred us to a restoration company (who will not be named) to do the demolition and repairs. It started out great. Friendly, diligent, and accommodating. Until they pulled our cabinets and counter tops; mold was discovered. My insurance company was too powerful. Scaring them off without a trace. So much so that they abandoned ship without so much as a goodbye. They left us with about 15 thousand dollars in damages and only a 6 thousand dollar claim check. Plus mold We called a 1-800 number to get a free mold estimate.... Enter Team Delta. Troy Man flew in, cape and all. Analyzed our mold situation with the speed of a moving train. Professor Bret used his mind control powers to get our insurance company to agree to cover the mold. After Professor Bret and his team vanquished the mold, Super Scott and his team moved in. Rebuilt our closet, ceiling, walls, and floor. Furnished us with brand new kitchen counter tops and a bar with a back splash that wasn't there before. All without us using a single penny of our own money, even with a fairly high deductible. They didn't just save the day. They saved our day, week, month, year. They were true super heroes. Jokes and metaphors aside. I can't thank Team Delta enough for their absolute exceptionalism. From their demolition team to the cleaning ladies who tied it all up into a beautiful bow at the end. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare from start to finish. After a flood in my home, their team came out for mitigation, tearing up my kitchen, carpets, and walls -- but then disappeared. I was promised follow-up from a project manager to go over next steps, plumbing repairs, and scheduling for the remainder of the work, but no one ever contacted me. Crews didn't show up when scheduled, communication was nonexistent, and I was constantly told "someone from the office" would handle things, yet no one ever followed through. To make matters worse, they submitted invoices to my insurance company for **$15,000 in mitigation** and **$10,000 in storage** before the work was even completed and they lied to the insurance company about what they did, basically overcharging them. Adding to the frustration, their team misdiagnosed the cause of the flood. I was told one issue had caused the damage, only to later find out it was something entirely different that had to be repaired separately before any restoration could even begin. This mistake cost me valuable time and added more delays to an already painful process. All Huge red flags. AND - When my household goods were finally returned, it was a disaster: Poor planning: They didn't bring a large enough truck to return everything in one trip, so my delivery was dragged out over two separate days. Then, on the second day, they dropped off my items while I wasn't even home with a whole new team that didn't even know details about my stuff -- only for me to later discover things were missing and broken. Missing items: My Harry Potter original hardcover book collection, three shelves of DVDs, my PlayStation 2 console/controllers, and more. Broken items: A dining room chair with splintered support, a video game spinner shelf smashed due to poor packing. Wrong items delivered: Someone else's foot locker full of clothes and glass tabletops that don't belong to me. Despite dozens of emails, texts, and calls, nothing has been resolved. I've been repeatedly told "we're searching the vault" for my missing belongings, but weeks later, I still have no answers. This company has shown complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and care for both my property and my time. They've caused me additional stress during an already difficult situation, failed to deliver on their promises, and left me with damaged, missing, and misplaced items. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, and I strongly urge anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. Do not make the mistake I did -- avoid this company at all costs. One of the worst experiences with a contractor I've had. Original appointment on a Tuesday was fine, however, they identified the wrong wall on the opposite side of the unit as damaged. They brought in their mitigation equipment but targeted the wrong area of the unit. At this point they started pushing me to open up an insurance claim and send them the info, when I told them I couldn't without knowing if the source was piping or flooding they told me it's okay cause I can just "cancel" the claim if needed (which should have been the final red flag but live and learn) The next day on Wednesday a plumber came, identified, and fixed the pipe and took moisture measurements to confirm Team Delta was targeting the wrong area. After that, Team Delta canceled our Thursday appointment for follow-up. I contacted them to inform them of the plumbers update and the response was they would come back next week to start tearing up the floor and walls and I could redecorate our unit lol, I told him that was a big statement to make when he still hasn't even assessed the damage. At this point I canceled the company and hired another. Cost of my 2 day experience: $1.1k Services Rendered: 10 minutes of measurements, maybe an hour of bringing and removing equipment, and decontamination of the equipment. Note: I was never provided any report or documentation of the assessment or measurements. Still haven't been provided with anything they did/found. Choose literally any other company. The roofer Joe and his crew did completely Shoddy work. The job was never completed and leaked the entire time! We continually called the company to let them know and they kept telling us we needed to talk to the roofer Joe (even though Delta was paid by the insurance company). Needless to say, for 4 years of nonstop calls and texts to Joe and feeble attempts to correct the problem, my 82 yr old mom's mobile is riddled with mold from the leaky roof! And now we have recently discovered that they did NOT take out any permits with the city and now we're having trouble getting new homeowners insurance because they won't insure the roof since it was done without a permit! We had Team Delta in charge of our rebuild after a kitchen flood. It was the most devastating, painful, stressful experience working with them. Their workers seemed like they were brought off the street with no supervision, tools or knowledge of the job. No coordinator or supervisor on premises. We called them to provide a water extraction service for one of our buildings. They provide a quote of $2,500.00 for the services. They then PUSHED for us to get our insurance involved. This should have been the first red flag. They left some fans running for the area to dry. I asked for them to provide an invoice for services rendered and they gave us an invoice $10,000.00 for extracting water and putting some fans to dry the area. We said we would pay the initial quote for $2,500.00 but not $10,000 for water extraction and fans . I asked why there was such a large discrepancy. To this day they did not provide proof or reason. They moved forward to place a lien on the church property. They lied on the lien and said they had done construction and demolition on the property. They never did. ****Warning do not use this company they will try to get you to sign a contract because your in a desperate situation and lie and tell you that your insurance is already approved when it's not. They will not provide you with the contract until after they've performed the service and you're on the hook. The contract states that if the insurance doesn't cover it you're responsible for the costs. All the while they try and tell you that it's optional to go forward. Then why sign a contract. I canceled before the 3 days notice to quit. We had a pipe burst at a triplex and called them late in the evening. We were reassured that they would help by Troy they only extracted from one unit on the weekend but I was charged two fees and I'm still battling to get the money back. They intimated and tried coercion to get us not to cancel the contract. Told the tenants the horrible things that would happen if the fans were removed. Even though their extraction was mediocre at best. When we pulled out the carpet after 3 days of fans and extraction it was still sopping wet. They promised that evening that they would help move furniture to extract the next day. When they came we were told they couldn't move anything. The workers stand outside smoke cigarettes and chat it up with the tenants instead of getting to work and getting the job done. I sat in my car waiting in the dark longer than need be because they were puttering around. My interactions with the project manager Kathryn to get my refund for the double charge was like talking to a brick wall. She could not once give me a straight answer as to why I can't be refunded for being charged twice for something that was only performed once. She even took it upon herself to lie and say that the tenant refused entry which was completely untrue. I hope that anyone that reads this finds a different company. read more

This company came because of water leak in my heater. They came in saying that if I was not up to date on my mortgage, the insurance company won't pay and said that I had to pay out of pocket. The dryers kept blowing out my fuses. They refused to tear out anything, I had to make them tear out the walls to see if they were wet. They did not complete the job that the insurance company paid them for. They threw away the parts to my new water heater. They threw away the parts to my dryer. There were holes in the new wood floor that they put down. They put a wood partition close to the closet to cover up some of the holes. They wanted full payment for a job that was not completed properly, over and above the amount that was approved by the insurance company. read more

My mom, Marge,and I have called numerous times to both Joe and Samantha in the office. The workers I had the most contact with were Junior, Justin for countertops and Andreas (Andy). They all did more than expected. The finish date was 2 weeks after the target date but that has always been my experience with construction. Andy came back today and redid some existing shelves in a closet because 4 original pieces were lost. The shelves are better than before the flood. Everyone involved were polite and helpful!
