It took 4 calls to get the items shipped but then UPS claimed delivered but package was not there. When I called Team Store it took three calls just to file a claim. Then they shifted blame to UPS. UPS finally contacted me and wanted me to file a police report. I asked if they were serious? I am supposed to take time off from work to go to police station and file a report on $50 of merchandise? A Laker game at Staples Center just wouldn't be complete without a stop at the Team LA store. Located on the bottom floor near the Star Plaza entrance and box office, right behind the Magic Johnson statue and facing LA Live, it's a veritable gold mine for all the latest overpriced Laker paraphernalia. I try to check it out before the game when it's a little less crowded, because the store gets crazy packed during and after games. You can hardly walk around inside, at times. But it all depends. I came relatively early for a recent Laker playoff game and the store was already just about max capacity. Because of the way the apparel and merchandise aisles are so closely set up, you'll be trying to avoid bumping into people the whole time. Plus it gets hot and sweaty in there sometimes, and if someone's not wearing any deodorant or forgot to take a shower, you will definitely know about it. Believe you me. It's hard not to get caught up in all the Laker hoopla and do a little emotional spending. A jersey here and a t-shirt there will already set you back a few bills. Of course, everything is expensive, but so is everything else at Staples. I actually got a 20% off coupon in the mail because I signed up for the Lakers.com insider newsletter. I came here like 30 mintues before the game and finding souvenirs/sports gear was so hard. I couldn't even find any of the Lakers #1 fingers till I saw some hidden on those shelves near the women's gear. The line took forever and almost missed the intro. I wish I could say better things about the Team LA store. I mean, it's housed in one of the best arenas in the country, so you'd expect a great experience. But sad to say, it's not. Before I even showed up, while the website posted their hours, I wanted to call and verify they were open. Not once -- calling over multiple days -- was the phone ever answered. Granted, this was over the Christmas holiday, but as the NBA schedule will tell you, Staples Center was obviously open. But yet, not once was the phone answered. Since the Lakers were playing first on the Christmas doubleheader, the merchandise racks were of course rotated to display the Lakers merchandise. Being a Clipper fan, however, I was thoroughly uninterested in Jodie Meeks and Antawn Jamison gear. I tried to rotate the racks myself, since the employees were deeply uninterested in helping me find the Clippers shirt I wanted. The one woman who "helped" gave a cursory peek at two racks before meekly giving up and announcing they didn't have the Clippers shirt I wanted -- the Adidas "LOS ANGELES BASKETBALL" one. The same one they had multiples of the Lakers variety. Nice. And yes, the gear was wildly overpriced. Sure, you'll probably find stuff that you may not find elsewhere, but expect to pay through the nose for it. So if it's Clippers/Lakers/Kings gear you're looking for, you're probably better off trying Eastbay or any of the myriad other online retailers out there. One last thing -- free parking in the West structure, but just for 15 minutes. The store doesn't validate, but the West structure gives you a short little while to do your thing. Every single time that I have entered the store, I am immediately welcomed and greeted by several of the staff. They have a wide range selection of Lakers, Kings and Clippers merchandise. If you go on the team's game days, it'll be converted to whatever team is playing that night. But the walls rotate to show other teams' merchandise as well. Most recently though, it has been flooded with Lebron James merchandise because he came to the Lakers, which is completely understandable. Additionally, it was packed to with people, but two young women were exceptionally attentive to all of my needs. I definitely would come back for more. read more

Turned in a Reign Jersey to be stitched lettered at Team LA at Staple Center 8 weeks ago and paid to have it mailed to house. Was told 4 to 6 weeks. Called several times to find where it is. They tell me they will call me back with info. They never called me back. Think they lost the $300 jersey. We were hoping to get it signed at the "Break the Ice" event with the Reign. Gave them the jersey August 4th, in plenty of time to be completed before the break the Ice event on October 2nd. Very disappointed in the lack of follow up and customer service. read more

The bf is a huge Kings fan. Every time we go to any store (or kiosk or street vendor or...) and they sell sports items, he looks for Kings schwag. They almost never have any. Then he goes on some beleaguered fan chip-on-the-shoulder rant about how no one in the United States cares about hockey and we should move to Canada (it is unlikely they will have Kings gear in Canada either, but I try not to aggravate him at this point). As you can imagine, knowing what he wants for birthdays and Christmas is pretty easy, and since I work in Downtown LA, I've been to this store before to buy him a t-shirt. But since he lives and works in Orange County (don't even get him started on the Ducks, he hates them even more than the Red Wings), he's never been. I took him last week and it was like he had found the mother land. I think because the Kings are in the playoffs and the Lakers and Clippers are not (/sniff. I'm a basketball fan, myself), the store is bursting with Kings stuff, although I remember the store still having a good selection in the off-season. They have baby stuff (mostly clothes), kids stuff, and women's shirts (he actually bought me one that's pretty cute). They have a ton of men's apparel, mostly t-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, and jackets/sweatshirts, hats, beanies, scarves. Stuff isn't cheap, he paid $30 for my t-shirt and I paid $150 for his faux jersey. They also have typical stuff like key chains, banners and flags, mugs, pens, decals, mini hockey sticks, etc. It gets a little weirder from there, like hard hats and foam crowns you put your face through. And there's some stuff they had for Lakers that they didn't have for Kings, like shot glasses and women's panties. The place is a bit of a hodgepodge and you never know what you might find. This company is aweful. I ordered a jersey on 11/30/15 as a special gift. I received a confirmation email right away. I called customer service on 12/8 because I hadn't heard anything. They weren't able to tell me anything except that the order was received and had not yet shipped. I already knew all of that! I received the shipping email on 12/15. On 12/17 at 7 pm I received an email that they had made a mistake and didn't have what I ordered. I called customer service and they sent a message to the store to have someone call me the next morning. Because no one called me back promptly, I called customer service again the next morning. They couldn't do anything except for send another message to the management. They did recommend I reply to the email they send the previous night, which I did. Customer service could not connect me to a manager or do anything more than send a message to the company. I haven't heard back from anyone. Don't let these people waste your precious time and cause you frustration like they did to me! read more

Finally getting around to writing a review for this place. I wont mention the prices, yes they are high but all licensed products are expensive/overpriced. My girlfriend ordered a Stadium Series Kings jersey several weeks before the game. As game day came closer she called about 2 weeks before and asked about her order. The person (didn't get his name) said not to worry they will all be sent in plenty of time before game day. The week before the game she called again to check and again was "guaranteed" the jersey would arrive before the game. Since this was the 2nd guarantee she called 3 days before and was told they are all going out that day and would get to her before Saturday. Guess what, NO JERSEY. Today is Tuesday 2-11, still no jersey. I really don't know what type of management is running the store and website, but they are not very competent. I would much rather they say, sorry but we made a mistake or we cant get it to you, its better than lie and actually say "guarantee" it will arrive in time. It really shouldn't surprise me though, I ordered a t-shirt from their website and got someone else's order. In store, the lines do get long and don't move very fast, always seem to be understaffed on game days. Nearly impossible to get help on the floor during the game intermissions. This store is a MESS. I hate shopping here, and their website is just as bad. But sometimes they have stuff that nobody else carries so you're forced to come here. *The store is DISORGANIZED, they need to have stuff arranged by team, not by gender or clothing type. The jerseys are just randomly strewn across the walls, with no organization at all. *The lines are ALWAYS too long and take forever to check out. It seems like they can't just scan an item, they always have to look something up, take off security tags, or do some other crap behind the register for EACH and every item. *The stuff is WAY overpriced too... the jerseys are full price, you can find them cheaper elsewhere, and the clothing is like $25 for men's shirts and around $50 for ladies. *The hours are annoying as hell too. Sometimes they are open 9-6... sometimes they close at like 3 PM for some event and if you drive all the way up there, they won't let you in the store. The Team LA store is a pretty fun store to browse. They've got everything from all the LA teams (sans Dodgers). If you go during game day they''ll pretty much change everything in the store to the team playing that day. But also the line will be ridiculous. Expect to wait 30 minutes. My mom bought my Dad a jacket WAY back in March and waited until his actual birthday in May to give it to him. Unforch' it was too small. Last week my mom showed me the receipt (thank god she had it). We drove down there. Parking is a BITCH. If you're going to go there, my best bet is to drop them off and drive somewhere where you can park for free and have them call you when they're done and just swoop them up. If you're wondering if they sell the visiting teams merchandise, they do not. Came here with the boyfriend to see if they had something he could wear when the clippers played the hawks. Of course could not find anything but he wanted to try anyway. They sell a lot of different merchandise for all the LA teams that play at Staples. And they have stuff for men, women, kids, and even pets. You can find ultra expensive high end collectible items to less expensive trinkets. Horribly run store. I waited over a week for the first order to ship, then emailed for a status update and was told they could not locate the item to ship and must have sold out. I really wanted a jersey with the All Star and 50 Year Anniversary patches, however, so I tried ordering a jersey again. I love coming in to this store...even if I'm only window shopping. I'm a long time LA Kings fan so it's always nice to see all the cool Hockey Stuff they have. On this visit, I came in to pick up an order of Bailey's Buddies for the 12/13 season (if any at the time...Happy about yesterday on a side note). As it was still the NHL Lockout at the time, I had decided to pick them up personally from the store due to the order being a pick up at the game. It was early in the day so there weren't too many people in the store. I asked one of the sales clerks if It were possible to pick them up and he said yes. The order I was picking up consisted of a Anze Kopitar, Jonathan Quick, and Bailey pouch. Only Kopi and Quick were available at the time as all the Bailey ones were out. I spoke with the manager and signed for the 2 they had and opted to have the last one sent out by mail instead. The Gentleman said, it would be sent out VIA UPS by the end of the week. He gave me his business card in case there is any trouble with the order. To this day i have not received it yet though with the Hustle and Bustle of the Holidays, I figured it may take a little longer. I called the manager yesterday to see what the update is, and we made shipping arrangements again. I will edit this post once the Bailey's Buddies box arrives. I do not like writing reviews on Yelp, but this is it. I had it with this store. I bought a throwback purple jersey from the 2000-2002 season from the LA Kings. I wanted it customized to an Adam Deadmarsh jersey because it's the one jersey I had been looking for(I can't even find it on eBay). So they told me that Rey only customize it by sending it over to their warehouse. So I decided to do just that. And the end result? Let's just say I'm not satisfied with the he job they've done. It's like for the price I paid for this, they don't give a crap about how they do things. The fonts on the letters of the jerseys are too small that they make my jersey look like a knock off. Drove down on Friday when the only thing at the center was Bull Riding and Lakers merchandise was the main display i asked the worker if they could spin the display to show me authentic stadium series jersey and i was told no that the best night was to come down on a night when the Kings played. Why??? isn't the point of the turnstile racks so that they can hold and sell all 3 teams that call Staples home? Just drove down again and asked the worker if he could tell me if they had my size authentic stadium series he tells me he'll look and i said ill wait up front. I have been a Kings fan for 25 years, and like many Kings fans, I have stuck with the team through thick and thin. Win or lose. I am happy to wear the logo on my clothing, and have always bought all of my gear from the Team LA store (at top dollar) instead of the cheap knockoffs. I'm always excited when you have your 40% off end of the year sale during the last regular season game. I usually am in attendance for the game, however we moved to Northern California a month ago. So this year I had to order online. I have ordered online from your store a few times without any issues. My packages have always gotten to me within the scheduled time period. My order has always been correct. I have been extremely satisfied. This time has been a nightmare. So on Saturday April 9th, I ordered 3 shirts and a puck. I paid for the 5-10 business day shipping. Now, I'm well aware that it was a huge order day for the store. I really wasn't that concerned about when it arrived per se, but through my past orders I knew it would arrive on my doorstep within the 5-10 business days. My fault for assuming this... On Monday April 18th (which would have been business day 6 of my order) I noticed I still had not received an email saying my package had been sent or was ready to be sent. I consulted with my friends who had also ordered from you online and they had already received BOTH their orders (ordered the same day I did). I emailed the Team LA store to find out if I could get an update on my order (I still haven't gotten a reply as of today). By Wednesday (April 20th) I still hadn't gotten a word so I called customer service. I talked to Sloan on the phone who said that my order hadn't even been processed yet (business day 8). She said that someone from the warehouse would email AND call me and let me know what the hold up was. Understandable. She doesn't work at the warehouse, so I waited for a reply. I received an email a couple hours later saying that my order had been packed up. It had a UPS tracking number in the email. This email was sent just after noon on April 20th. According to the tracking number, UPS said it would be at my doorstep by the end of business today, Friday April 22nd (which is the 10th business day). No problem. I was satisfied by that, knowing that my order was ready to be sent to me. The next day (yesterday Thursday April 21st) I check my tracking number via UPS and it was still in the warehouse waiting for UPS to pick it up. It still said it was to be delivered by the end of business Friday April 22nd. I even called customer service again and spoke to supervisor Michael who said they were just waiting on UPS. I asked if I was still going to get my package by the 10th business day. He couldn't answer the question. I asked if once my order was shipped if I had to wait another 5-10 business days to receive it. He couldn't answer that. I asked if there was any way, after waiting this long, if they could even overnight it to me so that I could get it today the 10th business day. He couldn't answer any of my questions. He was vague. He was not helpful. I just got a weak "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" and said the warehouse would call me (just as Sloan had told me). The both said to give them 24-48 business hours. I still have not heard a word from them. This morning, the 10th business day, I checked the UPS tracking number again. It's still sitting in the warehouse. UPS sent me an email at 6am saying that my packaged would NOT be delivered today. To say I'm upset is an understatement. Your store has already charged me for my order and shipping. I have not received my order within the 5-10 business days I paid for. Customer service could not give me an answer as to when I will receive my package. No one from the warehouse has called or emailed me regarding this to let me know what the holdup is. All I got was a weak apology for my "inconvenience". No solution was offered. Something needs to change if this is the treatment your teams' fans get for purchasing from your online store. This Kings fan is not happy at all. All of my friends and family who are Kings fans are aware of this issue as well. Guess I'll add another 1 star review to this lame store. We came here around 3-3:30pm to buy my nephew a jersey and some Laker gear for us before the game. The youth jerseys were not out on display or for sale yet. I spoke with a guy but didnt get his name and asked him what time do they put out the youth jerseys? He said around 4:30pm. On their TeamLA store website, it says they close 2 hrs before the start of the game so I figured we had till 5:30pm to come back. We got back at 4:50pm as I didnt want to be too early because I wanted to make sure the youth jerseys would be out to purchase. We were greeted by the rude Staples Center security girl named Danielle or Daniella working the door at the Team LA store who told us they were closed. Im like what? It says it closes 2 hours before game time on their website so it should close at 5:30pm. She rudely replied, "The manager wants to close." I told her I spoke to a guy earlier who told me to come back after 4:30pm for the youth jerseys. She immediately asked, "What was his name or what's your name?" I told her my name but said I didnt ask for his and that she saw me and my family like an hour ago in the store. I asked to speak to the manager. She went back inside and didnt even get the manger like I asked. She came back outside after letting some people out of the store and once again asked me who I spoke to and what's my name? I replied, "you're just being rude now and trying to ignore me hoping I'll leave. I already told you I dont have a name of the person I spoke to." She replied, "Oh! Im being rude? Ok then" and just shuts the door on me. Dont even bother coming here or spending your money here. This place is a joke! I mean seriously, how do you close a 1/2 hour early for no reason.
