Worst possible place to get a vehicle. Took my car in the person talking to me knew absolutely nothing about cars. Extreme low balled me on my car saying it needed work when the only thing it actually needed was a new hood which I made sure to state before I drove back with the car the second time wasted 3 hours of my time. I had my car taken in to a shop and all they told me it needed was a hood but their mechanic claimed it need a bunch of work this dealership offered me $4,000 for my 2018 Ford escape with less than 80,000 mi on it The dealership I went to after them offered me $12,000 with the hood the way it is. I went and picked up my new car today from Team One Chevrolet Charlotte. What an experience. If I could still sing, not that I was ever that good, but if I could I'd be singing their praises loud and clear. Everyone there were super friendly and helpful from the time we walked in the door until the time I drove away. If you're looking for, or thinking about a new Chevrolet, or Buick it is well worth the drive to Charlotte to talk with Rachel (sales) or Patrick (finance). I reached out to Team One on a Sunday night after building a 2025 GMC Acadia AT4 on the GMC.com website. On Monday morning Cole Bogue from Internet sales emailed me with a couple of options, 3 emails later and he had found the Acadia I wanted and promised to have it to the dealership by noon on Tuesday. When the Acadia arrived on time, I went to the dealership and met with Zachary Sadler who is in direct sales. He showed me the 2025 GMC Acadia AT4, and it was everything I wanted in a vehicle. Tim Ginther was my sales person. I bought a 2025 GMC AT4X, over $100k. Gave a generous trade in for my prior trunk, They sent dealer install accessories (Upfitter AUX Switch wiring harnesses) home with me tucked under the back seat. These are not a DIY install and should have been installed before leaving the dealership. The sales person does not understand the product and the intended purpose for installing the infrastructure at purchase to add auxiliary items at a later date. They refer to a build sheet that says this is a "Deal Install or Upfitter install at customer expense". If there was an expense, this should have been disclosed at time of purchase and it was not. I also interpret Dealer Install to be included at time of purchase or chargeable if using the manufacture of the product directly. Many items and accessories get delivered to the dealer to install before delivery, I had some others and discussed the potential for additional costs for the install. This one did not have any conversation about additional costs. Sales guy does not even understand it, so can't be an advocate to correct the issue. I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership. Just had one of the worst experiences today. It all started out great, as we looked for a 2021 Tahoe. Came across one at Team One Chevrolet Buick GMC (Shaheen Auto Group) and reach out. The sales team Jamie and Jon was great to talk to and they honored GMS pricing. I put the deposit on the vehicle while we waited for it to arrive any day now. A few days later, I decided to ask for a trade-in value on our Jeep and it came in approx. $4500 lower than I could get from Vroom. So, from that point I would just sell it to vroom and pick up the new vehicle at GMS pricing. About 1 hour later I get notified that if I DO NOT trade in my vehicle I would have to pay MSRP on the new one, BUT if I traded in my vehicle, mind you for approx. $4500 less, they would honor GMS. So basically Team One Chevrolet Buick GMC (Shaheen Auto Group) just stuck me with either giving away my car or paying full price for the new in the eleventh hour. The exact comment was: They have to do what they have to." Mind you, this was all set to buy at GMS last week. So, if you are looking to be taken advantage of, Team One Chevrolet Buick GMC (Shaheen Auto Group) and the unethical management team is the place to go. We all get it that new cars are hard to find right, but the lack of honesty and integrity is unacceptable in todays world. read more

I sold my vehicle to them on Saturday, Nov 28th, yes I signed over my title in return of a promise note that on Monday November 30th, my check would be in the mail. Well after several calls all week I'm still waiting. I finally got in contact with a manger M.B. Who basically rushed me off the phone and repeated the same tune I've been hearing all week by Z.S. Amazon moves faster. Well If you sell your car you should get what's promised to you, without all the bull. So the next level I must go. They know that as i drove i1 hour to look at the corvette and they told me it was sold is not this mislaeding people to come to their dealer ship. This is by far the worst chevy dealership I've ever dealt with. They are very rude in the service department. My wife took her vehicle there for oil change. She goes to pick it up and they tell her she needs to buy three new tires cause they had to replace one cause it was all messed up. This is the second tire that has had problems. So anyways she says i cant buy tires right now. So can i just pay for my oil change. They tell her that it doesn't say anything about an oil change. So after about 15 minutes of them trying to figure out if anyone did an oil change or not. Vehicle sitting in the lot. So my wife grabs her keys and goes to see if they reset her milage or not. Well they reset it. And they still were not sure if it got an oil change. But they charged us for one and say the tire will be in tomorrow which would be tuesday and we will call to get it in and fixed. Well here it is friday and still no call. I will never go back to that joke of a dealership. Terrible service. And terrible customer care. If u ever deal with Wayne i would just walk out and save yourself some grief. Grade will defiantly be an FFFFFFF I want to add. The reason i will never come back is because ur service personnel. are rude and i have never been treated that bad by a customer service department. Nothing against the salesman we worked with. We unfortunately did not have a great experience. We bought a used vehicle and were told no accidents. Then found out a week after we bought it, by the sales manager, that it had been in an accident. In addition to that, the head gasket and oil pan leaks were missed in their inspection report, even though they wouldn't admit it. We had another dealer look it over and found tons of issues that should NOT have been missed. Not to mention the sales manager's lack of professionalism in our face-to-face interactions. As soon as we walked in the door, he told us we singed a "sold as-is" sheet. Well how's that for service? Lie to us and then wave that in our faces? Its too bad because the non-management sales staff were really nice and we liked our salesman. Management just sold us a bag of goods and did not disclose the accident. read more

Horrible experience with Team One Chevy/GMC service center in Charlotte My 2013 Chevy cruze had the check engine light come on and discovered it was losing oil rapidly. Two of the bolts in the valve cover had stripped out and oil was coming out of them. A mechanic friend of mine put some replacement bolts in the holes in order to stop the leak and allow me to get it safely to Team One. I was hesitant to have Team One fix the issue because they were much more expensive than L and S auto but L and S couldn't get to it for a few days and Larry Draper (Team One Service Advisor) guaranteed me that if they diagnosed the problem it would be fixed correctly and accurately while other repair shops might not fix the right problem and cost me more in the long run. Wednesday (7/12) I dropped it off and picked it back up a few hours later. I realised later that night that it was still leeking oil from the bolts. I had explained everything to Larry and they had fixed some other issues, including replacing the valve cover, and it left Team One still leaking oil. Thursday around noon (7/13) I drop the car back off. They tried to make me sign paperwork stating I would pay $99 for diagnosis and I refused. Larry the started to raise his voice and be a little rude to me but did write no charge on the form. I got a phone call around 4pm that I needed to pay an additional $100 to have inserts put in to stop the leak. I told him I would not pay to fix the same repair twice when I was guaranteed repeatedly that this would not happen. Larry then raised his voice and got very rude. I told him I was not going to pay and if he didn't make things right I would never return. He said he would have the manager call me right back. That never happened. I called back repeatedly and was given the run around. I later found out that the manager was not even there. I picked up my car at 7:30, still leaking oil. I am an independent contractor. I do not get pto and I use my car for work. When my car isn't working I don't get paid. Wednesday I took off to get the car fixed, not their fault or problem. Thursday I took off for the redo of my repair. Not a huge deal but it is due to their fault. Now I need to take additional time off to get my car fixed elsewhere, very much their fault and starting to really effect my income, not including all the inconvenience. In the last year alone I've given Team One almost $10,000 in body work and repairs and this is the thanks I've received. I highly suggest anyone thinking of going to Team One, look elsewhere. ** update** (7/18) Monday(7/17) morning I got to speak with Gerald Buffin the service manager. He looked into the situation and gave me a call back and apologized for the situation and offered to fix the repair. The car was dropped off and time serts put in the stripped holes and the oil leak is no longer present. They also reinspected the repair and cleaned the oil off the engine. The repair was completed Tuesday(7/18) morning and I recently picked it up. Everyone was very professional and as far as I can tell everything is resolved. Gerald asked that I remove my review and I will shortly. I will leave it up long enough for people to see this update. **update** (8/16) Sunday(8/13) was the first long distance drive since the redo repair work was done on 7/18. I drove for several hours and was returning home from Grand Rapids when I started smelling burnt oil. I was about a mile from the nearest exit and was planning to pull over and check on it. Before I reached the exit several warnings came on(ac turned off, service battery charging system, check engine). I also noticed a rapid rise in temperature. I immediately pulled over, shut off the car and popped the hood. The oil had started leeking from the same 2 bolts again. The bolts are directly above my serpentine belt and the burning oil appears to have burnt up the belt. I'm hoping nothing else is broken from the repeated oil leeks, over heating, and running on low oil. I tried to call team one for 3 days, about a dozen times a day. I have several messages with Gerald Buffin the service manager and he will not return my calls. His staff has told me each time that he is there. I have now contacted GM and filed a grievance against them and will be seeking legal assistance. I will never return to Team One for any reason and I strongly recommend that no one else makes the same mistake. Over the last month I have had my car running a little over half the time, spent over $500 to end up with more broken than fixed and been stranded on the side of i96 for hours and required to tow my car home. All due to the complete incompetence of the Team One Service department. read more

Purchased a 2003 Chevy S10 and looked rust free. After two months the truck started to show signs of Bondo filled rear wheel wells. After four months there were holes in the rear wheel wells. I then drove the truck to Team One, the salesperson and manager were gone. I then was able to get in contact with the salesperson, and had to drive back to Team One. After the visit Team One was willing to trade the truck in and Team One was not willing to fix the truck. I decided I was willing to trade the truck in for a similar truck. Team One did not have a similar vehicle in stock so, the manager was going to look for one. It has now been over two weeks and I am still waiting to hear back from Team One. read more
