There were so many great things about working with Matthew when my wife (then fiancée) and I were looking to buy our first house together this past Fall! He was always quick to respond to texts or emails. Even when we sent him silly questions at midnight (this happened more than once), he would respond right away as though he were staying up late just in case we needed him. When the first house we had an offer accepted on turned out to not be so great after doing the inspection, Matthew didn't try to pressure us into moving forward anyway and completely supported our decision to pull out of the deal and immediately helped us move on. When we finally found what would become our first house, Matthew constantly had our backs when negotiating with the seller. Even when we were concerned about negotiating too hard by asking the seller to install new AC units and furnaces, he pushed for us and even got the seller to agree to install energy-efficient units instead of cheap, basic units. Best of all, Matthew worked FAST for us. We rarely had to wait more than an hour (and usually not even more than a few minutes) for answers to questions, and we were able to close on our house in only 24 days! This was especially awesome because we were buying right after a new housing regulation went into effect that meant most realty firms were quoting 45 days to close. I worked with Matthew and his team in helping my mother-in-law purchase her home. I can't speak highly enough about the service that we received. We provided an idea of what we wanted, and I would say that our profile was somewhat challenging. We needed a ranch that was in our neighborhood (preferably walking distance from our house) that was within our budget that also had a backyard and was not located on a hill. Most real estate agents do very little to help a seller through the listing and sales process. They are going for quantity and pulling down that commission on as many sales as they can. It's beneficial to themselves but not the seller. Team Sterling was just the opposite. They went above and beyond their expected duty to make sure the listing was perfect.
