Thai tea and milk tea
Amanda S.

Was so excited to try te'amo since their drinks are soooo cute, but overall the experience was very average. Te'amo is located in the same building as kanpai and Lao Szechuan but right when you walk in. There's tablets to order or you can go to the cashier. I got Thai tea with half sweetness and then took a milk tea with boba home for my fiancé. Drinks came out very quickly and the people there were nice, but the cups and their soda can lids are more for aesthetics than actual use. I was so worried about launching my drink everywhere while peeling back the can and idk there's just something so satisfying about poking your straw through the lid. The Thai tea was alright but had a weird taste to it so I probably wouldn't get it again. The regular milk tea and boba were good though! Overall I thought te'amo was very average. There are much better boba shops in the area so I'll probably only go if I'm eating around there.

Metro Atlanta's newest teahouse, with delicious drinks and desserts that use organic ingredients, fresh fruit, and loose leaf teas. This new tea spot is currently in soft opening, but they have a full menu available. 1 Strawberry Lemonade 2 Volcano Thai Milk Tea 3 Coconut Jelly 4 Ube Cheesecake Bao 5 Churro Mochi Doughnut Hailing from Chicago, this chain has cute vibes and their items can be ordrred from the adjacent restaurants. Fast and friendly service.

The shop is in Asian Square plaza, same plaza with Sweet Hut and Kamayan. I visited on a Sunday morning and the whole plaza parking lot was packed. It's very difficult to find a parking spot. Mostly because more than half of the shops in the plaza area are restaurants. The boba tea shop is right in front when you walk in the door. It's a combo system restaurant. Inside the place, the left and right are the restaurants, and the boba tea is a small shop in the middle. Because the boba tea is right in front after you walk in the door so the space for the line up is kind of limited. The placement of the self-order kiosk also makes it challenging for the ordering process. The kiosk is right in the cashier area so there are several people packed at the cashier while others are waiting in line. I was in line for a while until I realized you can just come straight to the cashier to order, instead of waiting at the kiosk line. The kiosk line is right next to the cashier so most people will think that's the line to wait for ordering. There's only 1 piece of paper menu at the cashier which is full of people standing there to do kiosk orders. If you stand too far from the shop, it's not easy to view the menu on the light board on the wall behind the shop. Later while waiting, I saw lots of the boba tea shop menu at the table of the receptionist for the restaurant. But they won't give it to you if you don't ask, and people won't ask because they think the reception table belongs to the restaurants, not the boba shop. The staff are friendly. They have a diverse menu but there's no option for non-caffeine milk tea. I got: - Rose jasmine milk tea with cheese foam (they call it white foam here) and crystal boba: the taste is okay - Ube mochi donut: too sweet for me but my bf likes it. - Double coconut panna cotta: the texture is not a thick jelly line but more falling apart. I'm not a fan of the can package drink. It looks cool but doesn't work so well for me. I broke the ring on the can when trying to open my milk tea at home, and had to use a knife to open and lift the can lid off, unnecessary struggle for drinking a milk tea. Overall quality of the food and drink are alright. I will come back to try the dessert bao bun.

Lavender Matcha, White Moustache Ube Organic Milk Drink, Cheesecake Bao Ube

ORDER Lavender Matcha Latte - not too sweet. The lavender tastes a lot more prominent than the Matcha taste, but the Matcha is well dissolved. A bit on the sweeter side but still yummy White Moustache Ube Organic Milk Drink - this drink is not too sweet. I also got it with the Boba. The Boba is on the chewy side and tastes pretty good. The Ube flavor is well defined, and it tastes good. Volcano Thai Milk Tea - this drink is a little bit on the sweeter side, but definitely taste like Thai milk tea. There is a good milk two tea ratio and it's overall not too milky. White Moustache Osmanthus Oolong tea - I got the drink at 25% sugar which was perfect. There's a prominent tea flavor, which tastes delicious. Coconut Panna Cotta - I got the coconut Panna cotta with lychee and mango jelly. It's not too sweet and the coconut flavor goes well with the jelly. Matcha Mille Crepe - there's a good watch of flavor and there's not too much powder on top. Also, the layers are a little bit on the stiffer side, which give the crêpe cake good structure, and make it easy to eat. It's also not too heavy on the cream so it's not as sweet which I personally like. Cheesecake Bao Ube - the bao taste pretty good! The outside of the bao is a little bit on the harder side than I would've hoped compared to regular bao, but the gooey inside is so delicious with the Ube flavor. It is also not too sweet, which my family really enjoyed. VIBES This place is next to a Shabu Shabu Buffet. The decorations are cute with pink and plants. They have a couple tables of seating with comfy chairs. SERVICE We use a self service kiosk, so there wasn't too much interaction, but the person who was packing the order, asked if I wanted to go. She packed it very nicely and was very friendly.

Ube Cheesecake Bao and Strawberry Mochi Donut

TE'AMO Boba Bar is an aesthetically appealing boba shop! There are bright lights inside and it is decorated beautifully. There are a few tables available. It sits inside the same area as Kanpai BBQ & Shabu Shaba and Lao Szechuan, so if you are looking for dessert after grubbing on some Japanese barbecue and shabu shabu or Szechuan food, then this place has it all! You place an order through their self-service kiosk, but there are also staff behind the counters to assist you if necessary. I ordered the Sunrise Smoothie and Ube Cheesecake Bao. The Sunrise Smoothie (and their drinks in general) comes in a beautiful color inside a can, so it definitely looks and feels pretty cool. Inside the Sunrise Smoothie were strawberry and mango flavors. It did not taste too sweet; it tasted just right. Super yummy and refreshing after a meal! The Ube Cheesecake Bao was yummy as well, but not a favorite of mine. I did not think that the bun itself was too sweet as the sweetness was mostly in the cream cheese filling. However, it is a pretty dessert to look at. My friend got the Classic Organic Milk Tea, which she loved, as well as the Strawberry Mochi Donut, which she thought tasted a bit stale (although we did get there near closing). Overall, I think this is a neat place to check out for drinks and dessert if you are in Asian Square!

Niaz P.

Pretty solid boba place. I had one of their lemonades which was not too sweet and refreshing. The packaging and vibes were so cute. There's some seating but it does share a space with two restaurants.

Cute bubble tea cup. Apparently their tea is organic. Lots of options. Somewhat pricey but the tea is not bad but also not memorably good

Sunrise smoothie (half mango half strawberry)
Marni M.

My sister was craving boba so we just so happen to be finishing up our dinner right in the same building. Orders are placed at the kiosk and the numbers are read out when done. We shared her Sunrise smoothie (half mango half strawberry) which was pretty sweet, but sweetness level could not be adjusted. The concept of the container is cool but the reality is a bit danger since it is an exposed and sharp edge right where your face/hand is. We also got their Ube & everything baos but unfortunately not got to try it due to traveling and lack of refrigeration as there is cream inside. Interior is cutely and brightly decorated as with most boba spots. However, because it shares space with two additional establishments, there are scant options for seating. Staff were nice and the drink wasn't bad so I may need to give them another visit for a better representation of what they have to offer!

Courtney L.

Great drinks! So many options and even lactose free options. Lots of seating in such nice and cute plaza!

thai volcano, strawberry lemonade & strawberry milk
Lisa M.

Went to check this out today & it was just ok....I'd give it 2.5 stars if i could. I don't like that there are no descriptions of anything either on printed menu or kiosk. The strawberry milk boba was the best of the 3 we had. Thai volcano was ok. Strawberry lemonade with strawberry jelly was like tart water with jelly at the bottom that won't come up the straw . While the packaging is cute & all that - the plastic bottle with the metal pop top lid is gimmicky & wasteful. No recycling present. Ironically the straws are recycled bamboo. The ube mochi donut was pretty tasty. All in all - i've had better. Too many other options close by to repeat this one anytime soon.

Stephanie G.

New boba bar just opened in Asian Square. In the same building is a Chinese restaurant and hot pot/KBBQ. Te'Amo appears to be a high end bubble tea as I'd like to call it because their drinks ain't cheap (about $20 for 2 drinks including tip). I ordered from the kiosk which didn't give me options for sweetness level, and the strawberry matcha was overly sweet for me. My husband ordered the Thai milk tea and had a good strong tea flavor. Not a lot of tables placed outside if you just want bubble tea.

Tim J.

The good thing about this shop is that they let us pick the sweetness %. I like them even better because they're trying to make their drink with healthier ingredients, which can alter the common taste a bit for their drinks compared to others. I can't get enough excitement with their container designs. Great people that evening. We got our drinks messed up with another client but they were cool with great smiles. Convenient with text reminders for your drink's readiness. Cute menu and counter, too. Definitely my new favorite stop.

I reserved/ordered a cake on 03/24/2026 to be picked up on 03/26/2026 @ 9:00am (Today). When I ordered the cake I wanted something large enough that could give approximately 20 people a decent enough piece of cake to eat. The guy taking the order said a 10" cake is not shown in the display but it would probably be enough for 20 people. There was literally no special instructions, special messages or deviations from the same design that was in the display case. I asked if two days was sufficient time for this cake to be made and ready by 03/26/2026 at 9:00am to which he replied "the staff comes in at 3:00am and since it's two days it will be enough time". I paid and left. The morning of pickup (Today) approximately an hour before pickup time they called me from an unknown number several times and when I didn't pick up they texted me. They claimed they didn't see my order until this morning and that I needed to provide a week's notice for the type of cake I ordered (In direct conflict with what I was told on the day I ordered it). They then offered to push my pickup time back 3 hours and "try" to have it ready by then or give me a 7" cake and a 9" cake instead. After they messed up and didn't provide what I ordered in the first place, it's safe to say I didn't have much faith left in either of the alternatives they offered nor their word. I opted for a third option, my money back. This cake was supposed to be for a 96 year old grandmother's birthday and her friends. But never mind that, there's always next year, right? Potential customers be warned and make absolute SURE you VERIFY with whoever you're ordering about WHAT you're ordering before spending any money here. Edit: I will extend an olive branch and give one star back because they addressed the mistake and maintained communication in a professional manner.

I love getting these from different places and this is honestly the best one I've ever had!! It's $8.50 for a pack of 4 and totally worth it. Truly so delicious. The taro butterfly is as yummy as always too! I also love the ambiance here. They have lots of tables with plenty of outlets and a jug of water to get as you need. I love that it's self service and you can look at everything on the way, but maybe have more descriptions next to items that are unfamiliar to most Americans. For $26, I got a ton of food and 90% of it was absolutely delectable. And I say that with an 8-year-old in tow who enjoyed it too! Let's start with the never again item: the Flossy Bun. It's a popular Chinese pastry made with soft, sweet bread filled and topped with sweet and savory pork floss... allegedly. There weren't any descriptions, so I looked it up online. But let me tell you--no. Just no. I don't get how it's popular. Definitely a cultural preference, and it's not for me. I even paused mid-bite hoping I'd grow into the flavor. Nope. Then there was the Coffee Butter Cream Pastry. I thought at the very least my fiancée would like it since she enjoys coffee flavors. That was another miss. I even gave some to two little ones, and the faces they made reminded me of the time I tried canned octopus. That's how bad the flavor was. But now to the good stuff--because the rest? Fire. BBQ Pork Bun - Yummy! Not packed with meat, but enough to enjoy and super easy to pull apart. I really wish they offered a heated option for this, because that would've put it over the top. Japanese Milk Cream Bun - Super creamy. I do wish it had just a little more cream inside, but the bread was so soft and delicious, I honestly didn't care. Hot Dog Cheese Bun - I got this for the little one and I've never seen a child eat something so fast. I'm taking that as a solid win. Egg Tart - Grabbed this from the front warmer after watching another customer snag one. I had missed it earlier. Not totally my thing on its own, but when I got home and added a little chili paste? Devoured. Hong Kong Boba Milk Tea - I went with this instead of the brown sugar version and kind of regret it, but it wasn't bad at all. All in all, the prices are great, the flavors were mostly on point, and the man at the register was super friendly and open to answering questions. Yeah--I'm sold. Looking forward to coming back!

That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.
