I have been on a boba tour, and Teastori was on my latest stop. I kept seeing that they had split cups and just had to try it. For a Saturday afternoon, it was definitely poppin! I love that they have trinkets in the shop and just overall a cutesy aesthetic while K-pop plays in the background. You can order from the kiosk or the front which makes the flow of everything so easy. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee and Taro tea both with boba pearls. Also, I got a ube taro mochi which a single one is $2.25 which is pretty steep compared to other spots I've been too. They also have the viral peach and mango ice cream, which I need to try. The split cup is perfect if you want to try different teas or have two favorites that you can't decide between. The Vietnamese coffee was strong but so smooth and good. I felt like it was a great mid-afternoon pick me up. The taro tea was everything! I see why it's a popular pick amongst customers. It was sweet and has a slightly earthy taste. It also had hints of vanilla and coconut which I slurped that side up first so fast. The mochi was really good as well especially as it went well with the Taro tea. Stopped off in Gainesville while traveling and wanted something fun and refreshing for my drive. I looked at the pictures from TeaStori and was inclined to try. I got the mango matcha milk tea as well as the Galaxy limeade. I was a bit disappointed because it really didn't give galaxy vibes. The picture is misleading and the drink is just ok. Nothing really special. The mango matcha was good but somewhat thick. I wasn't a huge fan of the drinks. The service however was great! Staff was really pleasant and the cafe itself was super cute. I've been to Teastori before, but this was my first visit in a while. They have a wide variety of drinks, plus mochi and macarons in different flavors. I ordered a strawberry matcha milk tea with oat milk, rainbow jelly, and less ice. I didn't mind paying extra for the oat milk and toppings, but I was surprised to see a $1 surcharge for less ice--especially since there's no signage or note that changing the ice level costs more. The drink itself was okay, but the matcha tasted watery. I also picked up an earl grey macaron. The macarons looked beautiful in the display case, but I'm not sure how long they had been sitting out. By the time I got home about 15 minutes later, the filling had already melted. The flavor was fine, but the texture wasn't as good as I'd hoped. read more

I give this place an above average simply because of the kindness and attentiveness of the worker behind the counter. Similar to other Boba places I've frequented (the last 2 months of this infatuation since I discovered the drink), it's in a small "strip mall", "coffee shop like" setting with books to read, and plenty of seating for 1-2-4 people: A few couples and a few solos were enjoying their beverages, chatting, and on their laptops. I went with the usual: Lychee w traditional boba, threw in some bursts. The person behind the counter was super busy, but still took a second to let me know that I would be taken care of shortly. Once they finished the orders they were working on they jumped to help me decide on size of cup, which flavors might do what to which flavors, and by the time I paid and sat down, my order was ready! I ended up with ROSE lychee tea (new to me, their recommendation) and it was ON POINT and exactly what I wanted even though I didn't know so This location also offered something I've never seen before. A "split cup" (see menu pic). One type of milk tea on one side, and another type on the other . It explicitly showed the variations offered and stated NO SUBSTITUTES! I was a little disappointed that the ONLY options involved milk (which I'm intolerant to). The tea-maker didn't seem to think they could do "fruit tea split", though I got the feeling that if I pressed the issue, I could've convinced them to either ask, or at least try But the cup size was even larger than the EXTRA large, and all I needed was the medium Was only passing though Gainesville, it was recommended by family who frequent A def good recommendation. Teastori is great, they have soooo many fun flavors and toppings. They keep the store looking a little funky but in a cute fun way. If you are a Mango lover... the Mango Fresh Milk with Mango Jellies is top tier! I think for the fun flavors I come here for sure, but for the classic milk tea I do check out many of the other options nearby. Teastori is definitely in the rotation and worth a try. Driving through Gainesville back to Georgia and stopped by TeaStori. The decor was very cute. You place your order using the tablets located in the back, right in front of the unisex restrooms. I wanted to try the split cups but none was available. I got the Matcha Tiger Fresh Milk for $5.48. We also got 2x Mango fresh milk tea ($5.38) and 1x Strawberry Rose Milk Tea ($4.88). Boba was an additional $0.60 My drink was pretty good. The boba was a little hard and there was too much ice. My family didn't enjoy their drinks at all. So I'm from Atlanta, GA where there is a plethora of boba shops. This spot from the outside was filled with plants and had a cute aesthetic. Me and my friend arrived before they opened, but we had no idea what their operating hours were since we weren't from the area. They didn't open until 2pm, so we had a bit of time to kill. I'm not going to lie, but when 2pm was creeping up, there was already a line at the door! Like where did everyone pop up from lol. When we got in, there was a kiosk that you can order from, or you can order at the counter. I ordered an Earl Grey Milk Tea before my friend got to order hers. When we were waiting to pick our drinks up, my friend already had gotten her order before mine. I had a feeling they were low on the Earl Grey tea. I did see them bring out a container from the fridge, so I'm assuming they don't freshly make all their teas. The drink overall was just okay, it had a subtle tea flavor. My friend also ordered macaroons. I don't think they were the freshest macaroons because the shell was kinda hard. Maybe it was a couple days old.. Other than the drinks and macaroons, the employees are nice. The sell cute planters and other stuff like hats and shirts. About a week ago (3/10/22), my friend from high school contacted me to try out this new Boba Tea place with him. [Teastori] did have a private parking lot, but just gotta beware of other cars. That day I went, cars were coming into the lot a bit fast. Once my friend and I walked to the front of the place... I was so happy because I saw various kinds of plants! [Oh!] I even saw a punny sign that said, "I Love You So Matcha" (I provided a photo of that punny sign). The front of the store was just too cute, they did have a couple of seats outside and lighting hanging lights from above. I bet it is beautiful at night because of the lights! [Teastori] inside was even cuter inside. It was of course clean inside. My friend and I immediately noticed how they had the name of the place inside, on the left side -- the wall! It was bolded in a green grass like letters -- quite clever cause the planters are green hehe. We did love how [Teastori] loved their clients by posting pics of them on the wall - very sweet of them. [Oh!] They did have sections where you can buy cool merchandise like hats, shirts, animal flower pots, and even artistic regular flower pots... like WOW! I am noticing I am typing too much so I am going to say just this: My friend and I ordered from a kiosk where you don't have to wait in line to order, but instead order through the kiosk. My friend got Cherry Blossom Tea and I got Caramel Milk Tea. Plus, three macaroons -- though I forgot what flavors we ordered. However, both the teas and macarons were a great combination! 3.5 stars I was hunting for bubble tea places online and saw that this place has split cup options! I've never seen that before. So of course, when the weekend came I had to get my butt here. They have the option of ordering at the counter or through their self-service station. We used the self-service station and got the split cup with jasmine milk tea and the strawberry rose milk tea. I generally prefer to order my milk tea with less sugar but unfortunately you can't customize that when you order the split cup. Both flavors were good but we preferred the jasmine milk tea. Given that it's split, you don't actually get too much of each drink. Next time I would just order a single flavor so I could customize ice/sugar level. This place is also super popular. They have brought back their seating so there's some space to sit and enjoy your boba. The seating is very limited so you may not always be able to find a seat. I will say that the interactions that I have had with the staff are great. However they now use primarily the automated cashiers so theres less interaction. Pro or con depends on your perspective. I just need to update my review because tonight I had the unthinkable happen - my clumsy self dropped my extra large strawberry dream snow while walking out towards the door. I cleaned up the mess, asked the employees if I could mop it up (they insisted they'd do it), and then they remade my drink I was on the verge of tears as this happened during peak hours when the store was packed. This place is honestly soooo adorable inside with a mini shop inside, aside from boba tea of course! If you are a fan of Totoro, this is a must for you. I would be careful with what you pay because the cashier may rip you off and add a few dollar or two to what it's actually on the tag. I do however think their tea flavors are unique compared to where I currently live (Orlando) so check out their flavors! They can't however let you sample any of them. What used to be Lollicup is now TeaStori and while I really liked Lollicup, I'm even more impressed overall with TeaStori. The selection of teas seems about the same but now they've added a seriously good selection of succulents and other small plants for sale up front plus some anime-inspired plushies and such. The staff is nice, friendly, and prompt in making the drinks and they have (as Lollicup did also) a good selection of loose-leaf teas for sale, plus mochi and macarons. The plants for sale add a theme and a really nice touch to what otherwise would not be that unique plus, while they may lack quite as many tea varieties/flavors as the nearby Kung Fu Tea, their staff and atmosphere more than make up for that and make this place a very special, botanical, draw. read more

I came here many times now for boba and even to study! I like their classic taro milk tea or matcha milk tea and if I'm feeling something more tart and fruity I'll go for the Galaxy limeade (which has a cool ombre color). I like how you can customize the sugar content and get a split cup so you can try two flavors at once! I also like that they sell reusable straws for boba so you can save the environment while getting your boba fix as well! When I went yesterday it was loud bc they were fixing the bathroom light but hopefully it will be quieter next time. The plants and fairy lights conjure a happy vibe during the day and a romantic feel at night. They have so many flavors! The selection is very impressive. I have had a couple of their milk teas, specifically Thai, rose, taro, and vanilla chai. The Thai and taro are delicious! The boba have a good texture and seem fresh. However, the rose is too perfumed for my liking. I typically like rose flavored things, but this flavor was a big no from me. The chai was enjoyable, but it was not as good as another local place so I probably won't get it again. Another thing I love about here are the mochi! They have deals where if you buy 5 get 1 free or buy 10 get 3 free. They are super yummy! I always take advantage of that deal because they freeze at home just fine for a great treat whenever. It is easy to wrack up a bill here so I only have it as an occasional treat. It is conveniently located near a restaurant we love, so it doesn't feel out of our way. I was passing through from Jax to St. Pete. First time ever trying Cherry Blossom Boba tea! It was delicious. I did the the split cup. The other half I did was lavender milk tea. Very flavorful but not my type of taste bud bc the lavender feels like there's a hint of spice or cinnamon. I rather have this quality and flavor back home in the Tampa area.
