I have nothing but good to say about this amazing establishment. I've been coming here before this location opened up; about 5 years now. The service is excellent; the staff is always hitting the mark for recommendations if you don't know what to get/what something is. The drinks are amazing, my favorite is the Vietnamese coffee. Strong and well rounded in flavor, the Ube foam adds a bit of muted sweetness that makes it my go-to. I recommend the rose or lavender milk teas as well. In my last visit, the cashier told me to try the matcha strawberry milk, and it now has become a close second to my favorite order. It is comforting and flavorful, with strawberry bits that make me feel like I'm drinking special K (we all loved those dried strawberries in that cereal more than the actual cereal itself, let's be real). When in Baton Rouge, I don't think a single week went by when I didn't make a pit stop here! I found ways to make 'coffee runs' from work, hold catch up meetings with work colleagues and friends.. everything! Even my need-a-pick-me-up run was always Teatery. There is nothing I don't like about this place! The ambience is always fun and bright, the bathrooms are clean and the service is smiling and always on point. I love their fruit teas, and their milk teas as well. My favorite is usually a green tea, bubbles and lychee jelly, no sugar, light ice. They always get is right! Lily loves their mojito series and Ragz is a fan of the Chamoyada series. They are very friendly and flexible in terms of customizing orders and making things how you want them. They also have a large selection of flavored tea - not with syrup but more like dried, infused flavors. Their little mini Delimanjaro are the cutest things ever! Cakey and fluffy at the same time - and sometimes filled with tasty custard. I'm sad we moved out of BR and I don't get to visit anymore, but any time I am back in BR, I know I will be making one or more pit stops here. read more

What I have ventured to try though has been awesome! The first time I went, I had the classic milk tea with mini tapioca bubbles and this most recent visit was a taro milk tea with bubbles. This is definitely one of the better boba tea spots in town! They have so many options for teas, slushes, and desserts. I usually get some variation of the milk tea at 25% sweetness (which is still pretty sweet). It's also creamy and strong (watch the caffeine at night!). The macarons they have on display are chewy and moist, not dry at all. I go to this place once a month or so! My only gripe is that they are inconsistent with the delimanjoo schedule. Some days they have it and sometimes they don't. Also I came here once when the owner was making it fresh & asked to purchase some fresh ones and he told me no... I've visited Teatery on College Dr. every time I've come home since moving away and I never had a bad experience until today. The girl who rung me up was extremely rude and rolled her eyes when I asked for my popcorn chicken to be spicy and it wasn't me imagining it, because the chicken came out with hardly any spice on it at all. In addition, the shrimp came with a half filled container of chili sauce and the chicken came with none. When I was waiting for the cashier to finish helping another customer so I could request more seasoning on the side, she blew her breath and rolled her eyes again before saying "yeah alright". Her coworker came from the back asking what the problem was and I explained that the chicken had very little seasoning and I didn't get any chili sauce with it. She yanked the chicken and opened the container up before going to the back and putting a tiny amount of seasoning on maybe 1/5 of the chicken before bringing it back and telling me it would be a charge for sauce and walking away. I waited for the cashier to finish helping another customer and asked her for more seasoning to which she responded, "didn't she already give you some?" I asked again and she grabbed a container and threw it on the counter. I grabbed my things and heard them talking about me as I walked off. As someone who frequents Teatery often, I'm left very disappointed in the service that I received today. read more

Teatery is becoming one of my favorites boba places to frequent. Every time I come the staff is always super friendly and welcoming. They have a unique, variety of drinks from mangonadas to Vietnamese iced coffee. Although it does bother me that there is only 1 drink size option to offer being a drink establishment. My favorite drink on the menu is the par"tea" milk tea that comes with pudding, baby tapioca, herbal jelly, and red bean. All the textures of the toppings go well together and it's super fun to chew on. I usually get this with no ice for a less watered down taste. The thai green milk tea is another favorite of mine. I was not a fan of the Hawaiian Fruit Tea w/ Aiyu jelly as it was extremly sweet and reminded me of Vivi's signature fruit tea. Vivi's version is much better imo. There are not many places to sit when it gets slightly busy. I think they could benefit from adding more seating for customers because there are only 3 tables, a bench, and a bar area next to the window. Additionally they also have quite a few dessert options! I'm not too sure that they make any of it in-house because a local Vietnamese restaurant has the same exact green tea cheesecake dessert I've seen here. However I did get to try the sea salt caramel cake and the tiramisu sponge cake. I absolutely loved the sea salt one. I fell in love at first bite at the moistness and richness of flavor. I feel that they're a bit pricey at ~$6, but then again they're quite delicious. I'm looking forward to trying different drinks at Teatery soon! read more

Another amazing recent visit -- and three new drinks tried from the menu; Thai green milk tea, pineapplenada, and the mango milk tea. Thai green milk tea - I LOVE Thai tea, so this was a must try and I absolutely LOVED it. It's a mixture of Thai tea and green tea, another favorite of mine, and goes together so well. Definitely my new favorite! Pineapplenada -- last time I tried the Mangonada, so I wanted to try more of the similar Chamoyada style series. I think I like this one better than the Mango version, but that's probably because I love pineapple more than mango in general. Either way, both were delicious. Mango Milk Tea -- I was NOT expecting to love this one so much! My boyfriend bought it for himself, but let me try it and WOAH was I surprised how much I liked it; it's just not a flavor of milk tea I normally consider choosing when I go get my milk tea fix. I went yo both the soft opening and the grand opening and it's always the best experience. I don't have a favorite but from what I've tasted (thai milk tea, taro milk tea, matcha cream blend, honey milk tea, and wintermelon tea - that's not even half the menu!) It's all good! We ordered the avocado smoothie, taro milk tea, and strawberry black tea. All very tasty. We were also able to sample the Vietnamese cafe, Okinawa milk tea, and several others. I recently came here with my friends and I thought that the milk tea was pretty good. First of all, the place is pretty cute with minimal furniture. I think they need to put more seatings since many people had to stand when I came here. I came on opening date and the service was pretty slow which is understandable. I think they are still trying to adjust and figure out the swing of things. I had the classic green milk tea and I really liked it. It was creamy with a perfect amount of the green tea flavor. I also had the matcha milk tea and I really think this is the best matcha milk tea in Baton Rouge. I absolutely love teatery! It's an intimate space that is perfect to do work or to just enjoy delicious drinks and treats with family and friends. I appreciate the variety and how customizable they are! My go to is always a Taro milk tea with tapioca and egg pudding at 50% sweetness or a Wintermelon tea with tapioca at 50% sweetness as well. I don't particularly like overly sweet things and their drinks as is can be quite overwhelming. It does have condensed milk as traditional Vietnamese ice coffee does! The boba was warm and chewy...just how I like it!! Pricing is pretty average for boba beverages! First things first, I hate boba tea. My point? This place has something for everyone, and you don't have to love traditional boba to love this place! After seeing so many trendy Insta pics from Teatery, I knew I had to check them out while visiting BR. They have a WIDE variety of options, and everyone will be able to find something they like here! I am a bit of a coffee freak, so I knew I had to try the coffee milk tea. I loved how you are able to customize the sweetness of the drink, so I could get a delicious drink without 700 grams of sugar. You can also customize the ice, milk type, and type of sweetener. Very accommodating! I do wish they would add different size options though. They also have many fun ways to customize your drink with toppings, boba, etc. I added the coffee gels to my drink, and now I am addicted to them. It was literally like eating lightly sweetened coffee jellies in my drink. My boyfriend had the kiwi fruit tea with aiyu jelly and loved his equally! Once I move to BR next month, Teatery will become a regular for me! I love the variety of milk teas, smoothies, yogurts, and fruit teas. It's a great place for adults AND children. Tonight was my very first time trying this "new" boba place. I'm giving three stars for the aesthetic, nice workers, and how clean it was. I prefer Kung Fu Tea more because it has more flavor. I got the "Partea Milk Tea" it was suggested by a review that it was good. I thought it was very watery and it had beans, which was really weird and nasty in my opinion. The signs are super cute and there are so many picture opportunity walls. Maybe next time when I come back I will have a better experience with a different drink. I also suggest maybe having some food - like Vivi's! Also, maybe some game boards like Uno, Jenga, Cards Against Humanities, etc... There are multiple milk choices, multiple ice and sugar levels options, and many different flavor combinations to try. My wife and I have been patrons for this place since they originally opened off Corporate Boulevard, and enjoy visiting still to this day. The staff are always friendly and provide excellent service. This is probably my favorite place for boba drinks. I've been drinking boba drinks since I was a teenager (yup, a long time ago). So, I know how boba texture should be, since I've had boba when the trend started in the US. I'm so glad that the boba drink explosion has finally arrived in Baton Rouge and even more thrilled that Teatery is part of it all. I love their baby boba (tapiocas). I always get 2x the amount because I love boba in my drinks. Teatery has a rewards program, too. I've already gotten a spending gift card there. They even have some yummy desserts: macarons, cheesecake and cookies. If you get lucky, you'll even get some desserts from a local bakery that sells goods there. In the recent months, they started making delimanjoo, which is the fish shaped pastry filled with custard. It's quite delish. One of my favorite drinks is the mangonada. It's so good!
