This is probably my favorite place for boba drinks. I've been drinking boba drinks since I was a teenager (yup, a long time ago). So, I know how boba texture should be, since I've had boba when the trend started in the US. I'm so glad that the boba drink explosion has finally arrived in Baton Rouge and even more thrilled that Teatery is part of it all. I love their baby boba (tapiocas). I always get 2x the amount because I love boba in my drinks. Teatery has a rewards program, too. I've already gotten a spending gift card there. They even have some yummy desserts: macarons, cheesecake and cookies. If you get lucky, you'll even get some desserts from a local bakery that sells goods there. In the recent months, they started making delimanjoo, which is the fish shaped pastry filled with custard. It's quite delish. One of my favorite drinks is the mangonada. It's so good! Actually, it's one of the best mangonadas in Baton Rouge. I'm so happy that Teatery opened in Baton Rouge and hope they continue to be part of our community. read more

* love the tea, don't always love the sugar * Teatery is one of my favorite local places for bubble tea! They have great milk and fruit teas, and lots of milk tea flavors that many other places don't have, such as Okinawa, Hokkaido, and lavender (currently a seasonal flavor). The one thing I don't like about their special milk tea flavors is that you can't change the sugar levels on them :( I've tried the lavender and the flavor is fantastic but it's also too sweet for my tastes. Otherwise, you can change the sugar level on all of their other drinks (which I definitely do) and they're fantastic! Definitely worth checking out if you love bubble tea, just be aware that the special milk teas have a fixed sugar level! read more

Super affordable and yummy boba here!! Love the variety of toppings and tea flavors. Taro coconut milk tea with baby boba: 8/10. Some of the best taro I've had. Doesn't taste like powder. Super sweet and creamy. Just the way i like it. It was like drinking ice cream. Baby bobas aren't my thing. They are smaller than the sharetea ones (if you've had those). They kind feel like frog eggs in my mouth. And when you try to chew them, they kinda slip and slide around your teeth. I would totes recommend this drink to anyone (but maybe with regular tapioca balls) Matcha Thai tea with baby tapioca balls: 7/10. Has a more floral taste and was less creamy than usually like my drinks. Wasn't a bad drink but wasn't for me. I got it with 50% sweetness because ya girl is watching her weight hehe. Parking lot was packed. But there are a few parking spots here and there if you hunt. Employees were super nice and drinks came out quickly. Overall great place and I'll be back!! read more

I tried Classic Black Milktea with Coffee Jelly, less ice, less sweet (75%). It tasted good, the same as other good milktea I had tried before. I frequent this place and I can say this place is pretty decent. I like a lot of their choices and I think that the staff is very nice. The location is a fantastic place if you're around town center. The only downside is sometimes is inconsistent. Interior is very pretty and is a good place to relax and the music is generally very relaxing to study at. The boba is pretty alright (isn't hard or weirdly chewy or anything) but the milk tea flavors can get weird. I tried two of their samples they had out (taro and original? coffee? something brown) and my friends and I all agreed that something tasted ...off. Ehhh. Total experience was ehhh. The modern decor is pretty though. I enjoy the flavors of ViVi and KFT, so I wanted to give Teatery a shot since it's new to the area. I feel like I wasted my money to be honest. We ordered 6 drinks and it came out to be $36.12. A bit pricey, but that seems to be the going rate for boba nowadays. Mango is in season, but the mango didn't taste fresh or sweet in the mangonada. It was hard and sour. Not great. The mangonada itself is very aesthetic but it wasn't made to par. I got the taro milk tea and was extremely disappointed. It didn't taste right at all. There wasn't an obnoxious amount of ice in it, but it still tasted very watered down. Not a fan. I did notice there wasn't a machine to mix the teas, rather it was done the old fashioned way - by hand in a shaker. Possibly why the flavor wasn't right. I was told the Thai tea tasted watered down as well. Maybe the teas just aren't made as potent as other boba places. Overall, i might give it another shot a few months from now to see if they've gotten better. It doesn't seem like they have a system down yet. However, I'm not in a rush. Larger cities offer this experience and it's refreshing to know that it's here in Baton Rouge now. If you taste pallet has limitations then this could be a challenge for you. The staff will do their best to assist you but take your time and making a selection because the prices are kind of high. The location is good but the parking is not so good. Food/drink: They have a good variety of classic milk teas, fruit teas, and some more unique powders. They also offer real milk teas, milk alternatives, and plenty of add ins. The flavor of the tea was pretty good, but they don't have a mixing machine which can result in minor clumps. I didn't get to try the baked goods, but they looked tasty. A fun new addition to Corporate Blvd. I came here on opening day and they were pumping out delish bubble tea. I had the Matcha tea with mini tapioca and it was a great balance of smooth and sweet. I had heard great things about this place and for some reason I thought it was in the shopping center with Whole Foods but I was wrong it's across the street next to only bundt cakes. Once there I couldn't decide between the fresh strawberry and the fresh peach so I got a mixture. It's soooo good and so fresh I love the fresh fruit because I am terrible about remembering to eat fresh fruit this way I can get it in cold frozen drink. We ordered the Okinawa and oolong milk tea. After asking the worker for info about their product, it made it easier to decide what we wanted to try for our first visit at teatery. I'm please w the service. It's a small space, 3 tables max. There's a lot of foot traffic that came thru at 1pm today. Glad we gave it a try and will return. The milk is non dairy. We wasn't able to confirm the source for milk but whatever they use as powder form blends well w their tea. The tea is good quality. First, a quick heads up to people coming here from out of town. The parking lot where the Teatery is located is on the smaller side, and is shared by a number of smaller storefronts. Please don't let that discourage you from visiting, because it's absolutely worth it, but I would recommend not going during lunch rush hour(s). There are a couple eateries in the plaza that might keep you fighting for parking rather than enjoying bubble tea and pastries. I've also experienced some trouble with inconsistencies in the drinks. Depending on who makes your drink, it can taste a bit different. There doesn't seem to be a drink standard from shift to shift. That being said, the drinks are always tasty and I've never been disappointed. read more
