Like I said above the ice shaken espresso was totally different from the version that I'm used to United States, but it was uniquely good in its own way. So I definitely give them four stars. The customer service is really good as well. The inside seating is very nice to relax as the AC is ice cold, which is good because it gets very hot in Cancun. So we were able to cool off drink some coffee and relax. I'm a huge fan of Starbucks so I will always give them a shot if I can find them when I'm traveling. Once again, if you like Starbucks , stop and give them a shot, he will not be disappointed.

Thank god for Starbucks - providing us with free WiFi in a country where I would have had to pay…read moreroaming charges. There is indoor and outdoor seating - indoor is air conditioned and a little noisier. Outdoors you can sit on the wicker furniture and watch the tourists walk by around you. Unfortunately, Starbucks in Cancun do accept your Starbucks gift cards, but do not give you any stars/rewards in return. You also cannot redeem any free drinks or contribute to a Star Dash or promotion like Starbucks for Life with purchase. They do have their own app in Mexico, but not sure of how to activate it versus my US version. I wanted to try something different that I couldn't get in the US, such as the Mexican Hot Chocolate. Nothing really caught my eye so I ordered a cold brew. It tasted so different from the cold brew I am used to - not sure if they use a different coffee bean or what. Additionally, I was super intrigued by the food display case, so I ordered pan de queso, similar to the cheese bread you would find at a Brazilian steakhouse. They were a little powdery for my tastes, but still super chewy and delicious, flavor-wise. Overall, a great stop for a coffee recharge and some WiFi usage!

I was looking for a nice traditional breakfast that was close by my hotel and preferably near the…read morewater. I found this place on good ol Yelp and figured I'd give it a go! It's pretty hidden so be sure to look for the Marina Sunrise sign ( see in my pictures). You walk upstairs and through a Starbucks pop up store/convenience store and then back down to the patio. Very small area but all tables have a gorgeous view of the water and if you get there at opening time (8am) like I did, you get to see the guys getting the rental boats ready for a fun day out on the water. This place is sooo inexpensive and really tasty! If you're looking for a break from the overpriced hotel breakfasts, this is your place. For 90 pesos ( roughly $4 USD) you get your choice of eggs, meat, OJ, coffee. That's a serious bargain. I mixed it up and got scrambled eggs with chorizo and got Grapefruit instead of OJ and opted out of coffee since it was already so hot outside. They also provide delicious tortillas. Totally worth every penny and more! Back home a basic breakfast like this would have run me close to $17, so it was nice to get a break for breakfast not costing you as much as other meals. Worth coming by and enjoying a peaceful traditional breakfast.

For how touristy Cancun is, I was shocked how few Starbucks there were near La Zona Hotelera. I was…read morecraving a nice walk and figured I would walk the 30 minutes over to this Starbucks for my beloved iced green tea. I believe they open at 7:30 but there are conflicting signs at the store as well as online, so I would call or just risk it if you're feeling adventurous. They are located in the middle of a super cool outdoor mall, right across from the McDonalds. The store inside and out is very clean and organized they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, both tables and couches. Only thing that would make it better would be to have misters outside because even though it's 8am it's HOT outside. So it feels nice they have the AC cranked all the way inside. They have 3 different types of Starbucks mugs for those collectors out there ( guilty). They have a Mexico one that I ended up buying because it was WAY cuter. They have one for Cancun and for Tulum, but neither of those really stood out. Menu is pretty standard with a few different items unique to Mexico. The chorizo panini is so delicious. Tastes like real spicy chorizo unlike the fake stuff back home!

This Starbucks was a great find while staying in Cancun. It is located in a shopping center and one…read moreof the biggest advantages is that it opens earlier than most of the other stores around it. We walked over from Live Aqua around 7:30 in the morning and it was nice being able to grab coffee before much else was open. The woman working when we visited was really nice and friendly, which made for a good start to the day. The menu is pretty much exactly what you would expect from a US Starbucks, so there were no surprises there. One thing that was different though was the food selection. They had a few items you do not normally see back home, which was cool to check out. Also, if you are hunting for souvenir cups, this location had a great selection. They had both Cancun and Tulum Starbucks cups available when we visited. The only downside, especially as an American, is that the Starbucks rewards system does not transfer over. It is on a different system in Mexico, so your points, rewards, and app benefits do not work here, which was a little disappointing. Overall, a solid Starbucks experience with friendly service, good coffee, and a convenient location for tourists staying nearby.
