Such actions are considered unauthorized access, hacking, or a cybercrime. I spoke with Larry and it was extremely unprofessional!!! We are not paying for a job that was not done! He came out prior to giving us a "quote" on what we needed. We needed our internet optimized. All he did was install extenders utilizing the ethernet cables we already had from the previous extenders. So nothing new. He replaced and used the "Same Brand". - Didn't do anything for us. Our internet was still slow and we let him know this plenty of times before leaving after 2hrs. of being here. Also that job was no way $1000. Especially when the issue was never fixed! Nothing was optimized. Then Larry threatens to turn off our wifi which he did at the end of day 11/3/23 approximately 4:30pm causing our whole company the inability to work now. As they put it, "The credit union determined this was suspicious activity and restricted online access to my account." No money was taken, but they required me to create a new email address and have all my devices checked for malware before restoring access. I first visited another technician who was pleasant but whose investigation didn't leave me confident. So I sought a second opinion -- and that's when I found PC Helper Team.
