My 4 year old laptop wouldn't charge. I felt sure it was the battery and after seeing a YouTube video on how to change it, I decided to let a pro do it. Saw great reviews on Yelp so I dropped it off and paid the $50 for testing and evaluation, a fair price. A few hours later I get a call, it's not the battery but just a charger. I'm almost shocked with their honesty. I told them I needed an expensive battery replacement but they did the right thing and ordered the charger. I hope another 5 star review helps you to do business with them. They are competent, affordable and honest. read more

My laptop crapped out on me a couple days ago. I know nothing about troubleshooting laptops so I looked for a computer repair store and found this one. I took my laptop in and explained what was going on. (It would turn on but the screen was dead). The guy told me he would look at it and call me in a couple hours to tell me exactly what was wrong with it. He called about five hours later and told me that my laptop was under a recall from Asus and that if I contacted them they could take care of it. I did some googling and tried to confirm what he said but I couldn't find anything about it. When I went to pick up my laptop I asked him about it and he said the information was on the website. (It wasn't. I had checked there too.) He told me I'd need to call them for tech support. I called them when I got home and they told me there was no recall on my laptop, or any parts of it. Essentially I wasted $40 on a diagnostic that didn't diagnose anything, it just passed the problem off to someone else. I'm really frustrated because I still don't know what's wrong and now I'm facing a data recovery fee + another diagnostic fee from Asus. They might be good at repairing phones or screens but I wouldn't bring a computer here for a diagnosis. Also their hours are wrong. They're 10-7, not 9-8 like yelp says. read more

Due to the lack of reviews, I was a bit skeptical about bringing my computer here. However, I was absolutely thrilled with the service I received! My 2014 MacBook Air needed to have the battery replaced, and even though I had already ordered the replacement battery I did not feel comfortable changing the battery myself. The very nice gentleman behind the counter (didn't catch his name) not only replaced the battery within 10 minutes, but also fixed a little dent that I had on the laptop's bottom casing without me asking him to. The final price for the replacement was $32, which I thought was very reasonable. Even though this shop is rather small and currently doing some renovations, don't judge a book by its cover. The service was great, and I left as a very satisfied customer. Next time I have a problem with my phone of laptop, I know where I will go! read more

I had a couple of laptops that had some mechanical issues. A couple of years ago I had one of them looked at somewhere else and the parts alone would have been more than the cost of the repair at Tech Solutions. Plus, Tech Solutions was fast. They found creative ways to solve the problems that did not require ordering new parts. The price was a steal for me. Many people in the IT business take advantage of people...but not here. I highly recommend them if you are in the area. read more

My iPad fell from the arm of our chair to the floor shattering the screen. I had seen Tech Solutions Services when visiting the business next door the previous day. I called and asked it they could repair my iPad and was told yes. I took my iPad there, it was repaired and returned to me the same day. This business took advantage of an 82 year old woman, to the point that the police had to be called for a solution. The business asked her to come back several days in a row to pick up her computer and printer, and each day when she arrived at the store they told her to come back tomorrow because they weren't done with the repair after all. Then when she made an appointment to come collect her items (which were never repaired), we were told that they had painted their floors and could not retrieve her items due to the wet paint. After quite a bit of back and forth, and once the police arrived to assist, it turns out the business had sold her printer without her consent! There has still been no resolution, and it's likely we will have to involve a lawyer to get any sort of resolution. Please do not bring anything to this business unless you don't mind having it stolen from you. read more
