They did what no one else could. My HP laptop was having problems for a very long time. I brought it at Staples and when problems started I had Staples Tech service look at 5 time, they did not fix it. I had HP look at 3 times, they did not fix it. Even Office Depot could not fix it. I was in a terrible pinch due to a burnt out video card. Every other store in the Orlando, Leesburg, and The Villages areas weren't carrying. My only options were to order online and wait, or order online and wait. So I turned to South Lake Computers. These guys left a great impression on me when I purchased a heat sink from them. I received a great deal of information that helped me further screw up the installation of my motherboard (Actually I did that part pretty well, it was the video card burning out that was the big problem.) and getting my system up to snuff. What really got me was the integrity of the business. Adam had just received a card from a customer and was willing to sell it to be refurbished. I HAD to have this card. So I drove up and he said he couldn't sell it to me after my harrowing tale of misfortune with my motherboard that had already eaten my previous card. I was gobsmacked and impressed. Certainly he would take close to $800.00 and send me on my way. Nope! He wanted to make sure that the purchase I made was the right one for the system and so I brought my system and after they seated the card tested it (and I think they cleaned it too!) Although my initial experience with them in regard to my laptop was negative, they took the time to return an adapter I had left and refunded what I had paid for the service with a personal apology.
