At that point getting a new phone seems a better solution. We stopped by CellTech by accident. For a small portion of that price and 15 minutes later, we walked away with a fully functional phone! I didn't know where to go, so I called around, and eventually got ahold of Victor. He told me to drop my phone off the next day. To be honest, I was a little worried at first, because it was kind of hard to get ahold of him, and it didn't seem like a big business with a bunch of employees. I wasn't sure what I was getting into, and was a bit scared that I might be dealing with some kind of fly-by-night place, but my options were limited, so I moved forward anyway. When I went back to pick up my phone later that day, Victor wasn't there. Rather, he had someone watching his store that accidentally overcharged me for the work. That made me nervous because my original impression was already a little shaky, and I was concerned that the amount overcharged was never going to be refunded. (I've heard of that happening with shady small businesses.) However, Victor jumped on it right away and refunded the difference within the hour. Fast forward one month: I'm back in my hometown when I started noticing that the charging port was getting a little wonky. Calls were going in and out on my car's Apple Play, and I had to wrap the charging cables all sorts of crazy directions to get a single charge out of it. Once again, my paranoia set in, and I thought I had gone to the wrong person. It took me a couple weeks to build up my courage to call and let him know what was going on. (I was embarrassed because I was out of town, and wasn't due to be back in EP for another month.) However, Victor assured me that I could being it back in and he would take care of it. Unfortunately, my return to EP was greatly delayed, and I didn't get back until JULY! At this point, I couldn't imagine Victor honoring his word, because so much time had passed. I wasn't even sure he'd remember me. Either way, I decided to give it a try. When I went in to drop it off today, I asked if there was going to be a charge. He said it "depends on what I see when I get in there". Ugh... famous final words. He might as well have said "yes". HOWEVER - when I went to pick up my phone, I was pleasantly and greatly surprised when he told me that the charging port he had put in was faulty, so he swapped it out at no charge. WHAAAAAAT???? Wow. Integrity! This guy could have given me any number of stories, or even just simply said it's been too long since the original repair, but he didn't. He was honest and decent and didn't mislead me. Plus, he has a small business, so I imagine it's not always easy to make ends meet, so I'm especially impressed. On top of that, he's a really sweet guy. Thank you Victor! I'm so happy to have my phone working again!!

First I…read morenoticed integrity and honesty with their personnel because before even quoting me a repair they checked out with laptop capabilities to determine if it was worth repair. I understand that to some of you this may sound weird but it makes total sense. Why spend $1200 laptop repair in a $400 laptop. To me that's speaks highly about this business ethics, they are clear and honest with the client rather than cheat them, now days you don't easily encounter that. Afterwards they made me feel at ease. The repair took a bit over a week. They were courteous and called me once it was ready. I definitely recommend and would come back again. We need more business to stand by their ethics the way TechFix does!

I was really hesitant about ever getting my things repaired by shops ever since some dudes in…read moreMexico completely deflied my iPad (those SOBs used super glue and tape!). i vowed to never let a repair shop touch my valuables again. But then my laptop started acting up. It was over heating and to make things worse, I dropped it, breaking the housing along with my coffee spilling on it. Yeezus! Worse day ever... At the very least I tried to save my data but my hard drive went bad in the process... I had no choice but to look at my options. Out of all my options that I called, the person I spoke with at this location had much to say about the repairability of my laptop. Not the cheapest in town, but then again why go cheap with things you value? The best part is that they guarantee their work! And they assured me that my data is protected as well as my privacy (they even denied to speak to my wife once because her name wasn't on my ticket!) Now they did take a while. But then again all those parts I guess come from Africa or something like that. First one, I took my phone for an estimate to get it fixed and it ended up they switched original parts with non-working replacement parts. Second one, my sister took her phone because it wasn't charging and they were charging $70 to fix it.... listen to this, her coworker sprayed some air duster in the connector and Voilà!.... works just fine. Don't let them take advantage of anyone. Spread the word.
