The register did not have enough money for my change. The Manager came out and said he didn't have enough change in the store because it was the end of the month. It was mid September. He then mentioned that if even if he did have enough change it would take most of the store's money and the store could not function properly. He recommended another store nearby. I mentioned that was very poor customer service and that I will report it. He then went to the back and a rude young lady came out to hand me my change. I could not believe what just happened.

However, they had told me I would need to replace the entire screen which he mentioned would come out to a total of $340. That alone was incredibly disappointing since I wasn't looking to spend that kind of money on a repair I thought was so minor. We agreed that I would just pick up my laptop instead and I would figure it out myself. Well, I go to pick up my laptop already bummed my laptop was not getting fixed and when I meet Mr. Andrew at the counter and he presents my laptop to me with a crack on the screen he made while putting my laptop back together. He said he was sorry and offered me $20 off the service. I left with my laptop more broken than fixed unfortunately.

We went to all major retailers and a couple of used computer shops but had no luck. Roger at Edgar's was able to locate a used charger that worked for us. It was a little pricey ($55) for a 9 year old used charger but we were glad he had it and paid the price. The perk was playing with his massive cat that seemed to weigh 25 lbs.

Within only six months -- and after an earlier crash I barely managed to recover from -- the system became unstable and eventually had to be repaired by a different technician. I am 88 and on oxygen, and I rely on my computer every day. I wish I had been warned that forcing Windows 11 onto older, unsupported hardware can lead to serious instability in a short period of time. Edgar clearly knows his craft, but customers -- especially seniors or those on fixed incomes -- should ask whether an upgrade is truly safe and appropriate for their specific machine.

Was quoted a $49 diagnostic fee, but the bill ballooned to $194.51 without an itemized breakdown. After six weeks of unnecessary delays, unrelated "diagnostics," and poor communication, all they actually did was re-solder the port I requested from the start. My name was recorded wrong, I was given the wrong charging block, and my calls to get my property back were ignored. Unprofessional, costly, and careless service -- I cannot recommend them.
