I would give a negative review if possible. I had my windshield replaced and they never connected the tube for my fluid back together. The tall guy in charge seems very disconnected and probably watches a lot of porn due to him not responding to women. I went in there 4 times asking them and he continually said they were too busy. They were to busy to finish a job that they should have finished when they originally did it. It took my H to go with me for him to listen and respond. This manager cannot connect to real people with real concerns. I also documented the time and the dates in case I got into an accident. The person in charge is a jerk and was trying to get rid of me because I could see through him and his porn addiction behavior. Women just realize it will take a man to get a response from this guy. I have been very happy with working with them. Last year a rock the size of a golf ball hit some glass on my car, and shattered it, along with chipping my windshield, and they helped me research to find the best price and time frame for repairs (since it was a new type of repair for them on a new vehicle that was unusual -- the glass was on a part of the car where there was no window. Super annoying thing to discover about my car!) They helped me cover it so it wouldn't rust since it was a super rainy week, got the piece in, and then repaired my car quickly. Went here to get a chip in my windshield fixed. He found another chip that I hadn't even seen and offered to fill it. Because of the location (right on the edge of the windshield so it could easily crack again), he said he wasn't going to charge me for it. He still filled it just to be kind! The Holladay location is awesome! My car got broken into and when I spoke with the customer service representative, Kabir Singh, on the phone, he was so understanding and empathetic to my situation. He helped me get the best deal that he could and went above and beyond to make me feel like I was being heard. When I arrived to my appointment, the gentleman who assisted me (I think his name was Jef? The technician code was ROMJEF - tall guy with short dark hair) was so nice and efficient. He got the job done 15 minutes quicker than I was expecting and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome by chatting with me about the break-in (he even walked me out as I was leaving). This establishment caused me a great deal of stress - for a simple windshield replacement. I had a few days to leave my car with them to get this completed, and for some reason it seemed like an act of congress to make it happen. They should've been doing the leg-work to get this handled quickly, but that was not the case. Ultimately, I had to spend several hours to work out the insurance arrangement with what I knew to be a favored provider already. Red tape is not something we should have to deal with in this day-and-age. This is not a local company. This is not a shop you can contact directly and find out if your car is ready. A bad representation of a very poor franchise. If you have insurance and want your windshield replaced quickly don't come here. read more

I honestly couldn't give techno glass anything less than a 5 star. I called in and they got me scheduled for a time that was convenient for me. They had my windshield in stock and beat another quote I was given. I showed up and literally within 20 minutes they were done replacing my windshield. I was amazed at how fast they did it. Very good service. Was greeted promptly. I had an appointment and the car was taken in right on time. I was told it would be about an hour. It was a rear passenger side back window. Only complaint is that after over an hour and a half, I had to ask what was going on... Apparently, they were having trouble getting it on the track. An update would have been nice. However, after I walked in, the business was booming. The reception gal was super busy. After 1 3/4 hours it was done. I would return here for future work. We paid additional money for upgraded glass - they charged us additional dollars for this upgrade; then they put the same generic branded glass that cracked from the inside after being replaced less than 9 months ago. When we confronted them - they argued with us like we did not know what we are talking about. (This was after the office staff tried to make us feel guilty for wanting better glass). We will never use this company again, and will make sure our insurance company knows how dishonest they are as well. read more

I pulled up to the Highland Drive shop with half of the seal hanging off at the top of my windshield. I asked the receptionist if someone could take a look at it. The service techs were working on another car, but Trevor had me pull into the garage and proceeded to fix my seal good as new. Actually, better than new! They never asked if I had the windshield installed there, which I hadn't, and didn't charge me for the fix, which I'd have gladly paid for. When I inquired about the charge, Trevor said, "We don't typically charge for something like this, we're happy to help you out." I thought that approach was mostly dead and gone in this country and was delighted to encounter such a friendly local business! These guys suck, I took my new Prius in to get a chip repaired. They attempted to fill a chip they had already repaired and cracked the window. I emailed the owner Troy (Twice). He never even responded. They quoted me a new window after refusing any responsibility for the breakage at a higher price than the price on their website. Horrible customer service! I had a windshield replaced improperly by this company, and when it rained the inside of my car flooded. They said that they would reimburse me for all repairs and when it came down to it they failed to pay. Not only was there $,1600 worth of damage, but I was without a car for a whole week....and it was Christmas! The body shop that did the repairs had video coverage of went went wrong with the faulty windshield repair, as well as photographs.....and Techna Glass still refused to admit it was their fault!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS GLASS SHOP!! They say they have a warranty on all glass repair, but the will weezil out of it!!! read more

I called around and Techna Glass was the cheapest quote. I probably would have gone there anyway, because they've done rock chip repairs for me for free once or twice in the past. It was really easy to schedule my windshield replacement, and then when I was unexpectedly free the day before my appointment, they were able to reschedule me earlier. I hadnt really thought about it, but rescheduling is probably more difficult than I realized, because they need to make sure that they have my model windshield in stock.
