I knew I liked Paul, the owner of Techstone. He was smart, experienced, had answers to all my questions, and solutions to all my concerns. The real test was, would I like the crew doing the work. The answer: A resounding yes. I had Techstone clean 15 flagstone (Carmel Stone) stairs leading to my front door, a flagstone patio, and the flagstone on my front porch. I'm sure the stone had not been cleaned since it was installed by the old homeowner in the early 1990s. There were dark, ugly, moldy spots and streaks that would not come out no matter how much scrubbing and treating I did. Paul and his crew scrubbed every crevice, made sure not to damage the mortar or surrounding brick, used environmentally-sensitive chemicals, contained all the runoff, worked quickly and were extremely customer-focused. These guys really did a fantastic job! I had some (not inexpensive) bathroom tile with staining and damage in one spot. It would have cost a fortune to re-do all the tile. They fixed the one spot to match and blended it all in so there's no more issue. Also cleaned and re-sealed my shower, fixed some grout issues - looks like new. This job took most of the day and they really made me feel good about their ability to get it done right, kept the area all clean and left without a trace of any work materials. I reviewed them in 2014, I had a marble bath, floor, shower, tub surround etc. I'm a Property Manager and I've been doing it for 57-years. Vendors come and go and specialized vendors are very hard to find. Tech Stone came and restored my then Marble bath to original, they also touched up my granite kitchen counters and sealed them all. Several years later I tried to reach them to come for a touch up and was unable to find them. I just recently heard there was some difficulty at that specific time and that difficulty is no more. I had a very good experience with Paul in helping resolve etching on my colored concrete kitchen counter tops. The etching was from lemon juice and leakage from overripe tomatoes. On his initial visit, Paul explained his process for improving the appearance of the etched areas.
