I entered to office staff that sounded similar to Mean Girls in that they laughed at someone who had called to leave their practice for another dentist. The hygienist was very thorough as she shared what she was doing as she worked, and I was very comfortable as she took excellent care. Xrays were from a top-of-the-line machine, and everything was very clean and looked brand new and quite expensive. The dentist looked over the films and announced that I needed five crowns, showing me two spots on two different teeth. I walked out in absolute shock, and my spouse staggered when I told him what the dentist had said. Considering most of my family needed dentures at 35 years old, I thought that my teeth would be in bad condition, but not that bad. My spouse's dentist has a more conservative approach in saving as much of the tooth as possible, and avoids using a crown unless absolutely necessary. staff was cold acting, the dental hygenist was ok, but the dentist was too busy to come in a check me over. Then two days later my cap feel off. I called and asked if I could come in they said yes at 7:30 am. I said great! two minutes later they called and said they could not see me. They have refered me to OU dental to drive 50 miles one way to have a cap glued on. I said do you know a dentist closer and they said no and hung up. I wouldn't recommend this group. They have some mental problems. read more

The staff was super friendly, and compassionate. Didn't try to pressure me into unwanted procedures. They don't take sooner care, medicare, or medicaid, which is kind of sad, because they would be a great help to a bunch of people that would really like the service here, but unfortunately can't afford to get in. "Doctor" Jamie Watson was amazing. Very soft handed and humble as well. Treats you just like family! Like you're an actual person and not a number or a dollar sign. The compassion here makes you feel like you don't have to worry about being judged or looked down on. Your opinion matters to her and the staff. Maybe eventually they'll get to a point where sooner care and Medicaid can be excepted, because I promise that when that day comes, those people in need of amazing dental care won't leave disappointed. read more

Oklahoma Family Dentistry provides exceptional dental care for Oklahomans in Tecumseh, Seminole, and Prague. There are three main doctors, two Dr. Halls (husband and wife) and Dr. Morris. I was really spoiled growing up because my grandpa was a dentist and took care of me as a child. When he retired, these doctors took on his patients, including me! Dr. Morris is my primary dentist, but once a dental student treated me also. It's pretty cool that they employ students, but don't worry about getting poor service from a student because these Doc's are selective in the students they hire. They monitor them closely. Dr. Morris also has education beyond the basic dental degree (DDS). He also did advanced training in general dentistry for surgical procedures and implants. I'm always amazed by the amount of technology that they use. Everything is modern and clean and professional. So here is a specific example of how awesome they are: Fillings done when I was a teenager are only designed to last about 10 years. My filling was coming up on 10 years and looked a little suspicious on the X-ray. Dr. Morris recommended replacing it. Turned out there was a sneaky bit of decay under the filing that decided to grow. He removed all the bad stuff, but told me there was a 50/50 chance the filing wouldn't take because it was so close to the nerve, and I would have to get a root canal. (Yikes!) Well, he did such an amazing job that it's been around two years and my filing held. No root canal for me (yet). read more

This place has made me feel like family the moment I walked in. The place is very clean. The receptionists are very sweet and informative. Each time I call, they treat me with the utmost respect and never make me feel bad for the questions that I ask. I met a lovely dental hygienist (i can't remember her name). She is fantastic and answers each of my questions and is very sincere in making me feel better. She discussed prices with me and talked about making plans to fix my teeth, as I am limited on money. She discussed all of the options for the tooth that was causing me the most problems. Unfortunately, the pain was so severe in one of my teeth that I had to get it removed, so I scheduled an emergency appointment. I was so nervous and she made me feel better by talking with me and informing me that her and Dr. Hall are very experienced in what they do. The dental hygienist made sure I was completely numb, which is very thoughtful. During the procedure, Dr. Hall and the dental hygienist made sure to tell me everything that was going on so I wasn't left in the dark. I felt no pain during, just the normal pressure of a tooth extraction. I have never been treated so kindly before in a dentist office. A lot of the reason why I don't like going is because of how I was treated before. But this dentist office has changed that for me. I would recommend this place to anyone!
