Wow! We purchased 3 V.I.P passes for the show. The buffet was so delicious we asked to meet the chef. We just knew someone's grandma was back there cooking up a storm! The most humble woman came out to greet us. She was so bashful about accepting the compliments on her down home cooking. 5 stars for the food. It was too muddy for the back stage tour. The two actors put on a show teaching the crowd about fake fighting, blood packets and gun fights. They where so funny. The entertainment was lovely never a dull moment. The meet and greet after the play is nice for the kids to see it's just a play. I can't wait to see Shakespeare in the summer!

Was anyone done the sleepy hallow?

We purchased 3 V.I.P tickets and it was worth every penny. The actors are musicians as well. I was shocked by the talented vocals and the live music. It's part drama, part musical and scary! … Read more

After calling several times over a few weeks, I finally reached the "luthier". I was told they thought it would be $150-$200 to replace the fifth string tuning machine. It was messed up, but didn't think it would cost that much. Didn't want to pay that much. Told them to call me back with a final estimate. Didn't hear anything, so we decided to drive the 45 minutes to pick it up. When we got there I was told they needed to put it back together. I hadn't authorized any work. What we got was a banjo that had the new strings cut off. The tuner sawzalled off and a very horrible drilling job on the neck. the hole was an oval with many little drill holes as well. The neck was ruined. Don't take your instruments here for repair. You will wait a long time. Be overcharged and get a crappy job.

I really learned a lot from him. He did a great job developing a personalized lesson plan for me which allowed me to learn things I thought were out of my reach. I wish I was in town so I could take more. Great store and staff, I would definitely go back.

Depending on what you want to do with audio engineering I think this school is a complete hit or a complete miss. For the tuition costs, it may make sense to take that money and begin your own studio, or rather, use that money to invest in other opportunities that may get you in the door to apprentice with an engineer that can teach you the basic-advanced skills, equipment, and give you business insight. Before paying for any audio school, in that regard, I think it's important to consider what that tuition money could buy you outside of the formal-education aspects, which may not be so formal after all. Depending on what you put into it, you will either get a basic introduction to audio and learn some information that may not apply to any of your future audio engineering opportunities to come, or, you may receive a wealth of information, connections, and wisdom from the faculty there, who have had many more years working in the field that any student, guaranteed. At the end of the day, audio engineering involves much more than signal flow and test scores, and while giving you the formal aspects of audio engineering, the Recording Workshop cannot offer you strong exposure to the business, industry, and craft of technical audio. Only you can.
