I had been smoking since I was 16 years old, off and on, and I LOVED to smoke. Now that I am 42 and have a child I am committed to being free from my addiction to smoking. I would smoke to celebrate, to calm my nerves, or just because I needed something to do. Cigarettes would not let go of me until I met Ted. I have had insomnia all my life, and after only four sessions with Ted I was able to sleep for more than an hour at a time during the night. I feel like he gave me tools that I never knew I didn't have, and even managed to counsel me and convince my brain that I deserve rest and restoration at night. Soooo....hypnotherapy is pretty interesting. I wasn't entirely skeptical going in, but I admit I had some doubts about how effective it could be. I am so glad my first experience was with Ted. I was having motivation issues and was (still am?) a bit embarrassed about finding myself in that state. Ted made me feel immediately comfortable and he was very easy to talk to. In the pre-interview he asked me some pointed questions and helped me get to the heart of my concerns. He then moved on to the hypnosis, which was not as weird as I had feared it would be. The session was incredibly valuable to me, it really helped crystallize the steps I needed to take to move forward. Ted really knows what he is doing, and his non judgmental attitude and humanity made it possible for me to get over myself and get on with what I needed to do.
