This location in particular, is probably my most visited one, but also my least liked of the three. Even so, it's still a great store. When it comes to retro and vintage items, you can always find exactly what you're looking for on sites like eBay. The fun part of Jay's, is not knowing what you want and just browsing. More times than not, I don't buy anything from this location. The selection of items is usually better at the other locations. That's the only reason it's not a 5-star rating for me. Value wise, I think their prices rival eBay, and you can buy it on the spot instead of waiting for shipping. Staff always seems friendly and helpful also.

With other big name toy stores closing, it's great to have a place like Go!. They have a great…read moreselection of games and puzzles! We found items for both the kid and kids at heart. The layout is quite open and makes for finding what you need quickly. A lot of the t-shirts were fun and they had more accessories to match them. As far as other toys, we found many items of interest from superhero toys to Nerf fun. We even found some great items for the office such as Rubik's Cubes. We get lots of requests to return and it will be our "Go! to" toy store.

Right now the store is 50% off so we got some amazing classics for great prices! The cashier was really laid back but wasn't the friendliest. Maybe because the store closing or a bad day but everyone has their off days! We got some great deals and can't wait until they reopen next holiday season. I was told they could only exchange them for the exact same product, but since that item wasn't in stock I'd have to contact the manufacturer myself. I wasn't asking for a refund, just an exchange or store credit for an item that was defective on day one. Most retailers stand behind the products they sell, especially when something fails immediately. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience here, so I can't recommend shopping at a place that doesn't take responsibility for defective items.

The owner has expanded and this location holds all types of wonderful items from artists from across the country. The selection is not overwhelming but gives you plenty to look through. I will probably be back for Lego earrings or hope someone I know sees this and knows that I like them. Wink wink. I really love the IOWA love this owner has as do the many artists displayed there. I really fell for the prints that were being displayed and some of the IOWA jewelry up to purchase. Lots of unique gifts for someone who has everything. There is a bit of everything here. The prices are wide range depending on what you are looking for. I know this is not the only location around, but this is the Ankeny location. There is a ton in here. I haven't looked at everything in this store but some things are comic books, board games, action figures, vinyl, toys, game system accessories. I was there to see if they wanted purchase something from me. They have a space in the back where they will take and see if they will buy off you. They offer cash and store credit. They entire store has a great vibe. Even though I didn't purchase something this time I left with a smile on my face and knowledge that I would be back.

Also I really wish their turn around time was a little quicker, it typically seems to take around 6 hours +\- for them to get thru your stuff; so I always have to return the next day, which isn't the most convenient.
