The food was immaculate, we had the deep fried pickles appetizer and I will tell you straight from the heart I've never had fried pickles as delicious as these were, not even Quaker Steak has pickles this delicious. 10/10 We each ordered the Philly cheesesteak, hers with the garlic aoli and mine without, and I have to say we were both surprised at how delicious, savory, and tender the steak was. This is the type of dining experience we have expected but have never gotten to witness. Barrel 33 has really out done themselves. The only problem I had and I'm sure my wife probably had was the Ambiance, the music was great, but the lighting was terrible it was difficult to read the menus and I was almost at the point where I was going to turn on the flashlight on my phone to read what was available but it's nothing to complain about, these old tired eyes just don't see very well anymore and it's not their fault. yes I would have liked a little more light to see, but I get it, the feel they were going for, which makes the overall dining experience enjoyable and pleasant.
