The absolute best daycare! Loving and caring providers. The children are safe and always have fun.

My children were enrolled in TeddyTime Daycare from birth until they were old enough to not need daycare. The owner and all of the employees were fantastic and treated myself, my wife, my children, and everyone I ever saw them in contact with with the utmost respect. In fact, we started with Teddy Time in 2005 and I am still friends with the owners and two of the employees that worked there with my children and see them on a weekly basis. They work with the kids and there is always some learning activities disguised as games or some other fun interaction. They don't "watch" the children like some daycares. They spend time with them. Not sure why someone who is not a parent or legal guardian (like a fiancé) would write a bad review simply because a business owner did not disclose information to them that they were not entitled to receive. That's basic NYS disclosure law. And am I reading this correctly...this same person is complaining that this business did not accept an admittedly forged document? To me, that's protecting the child, so that just makes this business even better. The other bad review that starts with "I don't usually write bad reviews", is how someone who only writes bad reviews starts a review. I couldn't believe anything after that point. My kids were happy and healthy and they loved it there. My daughter, who is 12 now, still loves to visit. Bottom line, this is an awesome daycare. If I had more children, they would all be going to Teddy Time. Thank you for all of the great work you did while my children spent time with you. read more

I rarely write reviews, but for the sake of the reputation of the childcare provider that I have chosen and trusted for both my children, I have to say I wouldnt take my kids anywhere else. I am embarrassed for other "petty" reviewers that they have anything to do with the daycare my kids are at every day. I am happy knowing the provider respects the laws and privacy for the children enrolled. read more

I cannot speak highly enough about Teddy Time Daycare. I feel so comforted that my children are safe, happy, and thriving. The gentleness and care that the staff at Teddy Time have shown my children is immeasurable. If there are any tears at drop off, they are immediately met by caring smiles, warm hugs, and extra cuddles. They are now like family to me, because I know that they love my kids as much as I do. My kids are always excited to see their teachers and play with their friends. The teachers provide detailed reports for my little one so I can get a glimpse of their day, and keep track of any items I might need to send in or things to watch for at home (diapering needs, crankiness/fussiness, etc.). You can tell that the staff have been doing this for a long time and are very fulfilled in providing excellent childcare. I would recommend Teddy Time to any family looking to make sure their child feels like they are "right at home" with people who love them, even during times they can't actually be at home with their loved ones. read more

Never have I known a business owner to be so rude and petty She holds grudges against people. Tried to have my fiances ex pay her then I was going to pay her this weekend when we sAw his daughter. She refused payment. She refused to tell me the amount owed even tho I pay the bills. She's petty. Lazy. And down righT rude. She would not except a document that I signed for my ffuance even tho he said to sign his name and send it. But she has NO problems cashing the checks I sign. Very petty. Then requests a document signed and doesnt send a self address stamped envelope. Lazy! Cheap! Petty! Down right ugly human! I feel bad for her employees andd the kids. I see the bad reviews her. I now see it with my own eyes. read more

As a new mother, there is nothing more important than feeling confident in knowing that your child will be cared for and given the attention they need when transitioning into a daycare. Teddy Time made that possible for my family, and I can rest easy with the confidence that comes from caring and communicative caretakers. My infant has been coming to Teddy Time since she was three months old and she has excelled with her developmental milestones and most importantly, she is happy and healthy. The caretakers are accommodating when building toward a consistent schedule that works for my daughter, and any parent knows how grueling of a job it can be working toward this. Not only is the daily report card helpful, but the caretakers are always willing to share details and talk about the day, which is nice for a new mom who misses her baby while working full time. It is by no means an easy job for full time daycare providers and staff to do what they do every day, and it's no easier for new parents to say goodbye to their babies for the first time but Teddy Time has made it as easy as it can be. And for that I highly recommend and will continue to keep my baby happy by attending this clean, attentive and family-focused facility that is so much better than those conglomerate daycare centers. read more

My daughter (now almost 6) started here when she was 15 months old and my son has been going to Teddy Time since he was 3 months old. The owner and the employees have been wonderful to work with, accommodating and understanding when needed. My kids love the staff here like family and they have all been an integral part of their childhood. recently had my two children enrolled in Teddy Time Daycare in Manlius, Ny. I can say with complete honesty, that I've never written a bad review about anything, but after really thinking it over, I felt somewhat irresponsible not sharing my experience. It was not that I felt as though my children were not safe, or that they were danger, but they simply weren't happy kids there. They've had numerous experiences with other baby sitters and two other daycare providers in the town we had relocated from. They normally loved to go to "school" and were excited to jump in the door and share the activities of the day. This was not the case with Teddy Time. They were anxious and teary when I dropped them off and anxious to get out the door when I arrived to pick them up. As a mother, it broke my heart, but I figured that I'd give it some more time. The turning point came when I came to pick up my two children who were playing by themselves on the floor by the front door. The two people who were there to care for them sat with their backs to my children texting on their cell phones. They did not seem to think that this was inappropriate even upon my arrival through the door. I then noticed that as I put my son's coat on to take him home, he had a messy diaper that nobody bothered to change. I was crushed. The next day I pulled them out and regret ever walking in the front door. I hope this helps in someone seeking child care options in Manlius. read more
