First time I went there was shortly after they opened in this location and it was nice. The second time was last weekend and some guy was there at the entrance giving unnecessary guidance in a loud environment that was very confusing. He insisted on talking, claiming to be the owner, and proceeded to tell me I must not be married because I don't listen very well. So disappointing considering otherwise they provide a great service. I won't be going back to support such misogyny. My 20 year old son was with me and found it equally rude. read more

The people that work here are really nice. They try to help you get what you need. For us it was a mud removal. They took their time with the spray brushes and got a lot of of it off. Good job Prices are fair and places is clean read more

I was disappointed that they could not get the bugs off the front of my truck after going through twice (Full Horsepower). I normally do this myself but thought I would give them a try. On a brighter note, the staff is relatively friendly. The vacuums work well, even on dog hair. I do like to vacuum and clean the interior after a long trip. They nailed this. read more

I finally stopped by Ted's Express Car Wash today. I was pretty happy with another car wash I was using and was reluctant to go to Ted's because I heard the prices were a bit higher, but with the close location, I thought it was worth a try. (Note: I'm already unhappy with a few of the businesses close to Candelas where I think the increased prices haven't matched the service). I was NOT disappointed! The quality of the wash was the best I've had. I have an F150, and it's pretty common for most car washes to leave dirt on the running boards or in other odd areas. The truck came out great, and the wash was quick. On top of that, the vacuum station was incredible! The vacuums had plenty of power with convenient attachments on both sides of the car - there are many vacuum spots, so no worries about a wait, and there is no additional charge to use the vacuums... Cost is baked into the wash. I loved that they also had fresh towels to wipe off the excess dirty drips that can ruin your new wash. I know this sounds like a "coerced or bought" review, but it truly isn't. I didn't want to like this place, because I don't like spending a lot for a wash, but if you get the monthly unlimited deal ($30 bucks for the level I purchased) I think I'll save money over the lower cost one about 6 or 7 miles away. read more

Ted is (kinda) ripping folks off! First, let me state that I have an unlimited membership (highest tier) which comes in at $40/month. I have no plans to cancel because the wash is close and I can use it every day. But, therein lies the issue. As you can see in the pictures (taken today IMMEDIATELY after wash - my second wash in two days), the highest tier wash, NEVER comes close to cleaning my truck. Mud is left in the rims, on surfaces and in the wheel wells. The bumpers are never clean after a single wash nor are the fenders. The truck is NEVER dry after coming through the "dryers" at the end. And, the wash will NEVER get your windshield clean of bugs. NOTE: you can pay an additional $10 for a bug cleaner or mud cleaner ($20 for both in addition to wash cost? Don't know for sure, that is way pricey for something the wash should already be doing) but why pay what accounts to half of your monthly membership cost for extra services that, again, the wash should already be doing?! The other issue is that the towels they supply for detail and drying, which I will admit is a nice touch, are always damp and/or wet which just means you're moving water around. Seems to me like the profit realized from shorting the drying of towels is likely being lost with the sheer volumes of towels needing to be used per vehicle so not sure the point there. At the end of the day, Ted's feels like a cash grab with some accoutrements that make it feel upscale. Like anything, its not all good or bad. Free towels to use (to finish the drying that the "dryers" fail to do), a nice smelling spray for the interior/windows, high pressure air for interior cracks and crevices and two kind of high power vacuums are all very nice touches - thus the three stars (the good). The ineffective car wash, underwhelming performance of the dryers and the wash coupled with the relatively high membership price point, loses two stars (the bad). read more

Can't speak to how well their washes work as I never used it. I was psyched to try them over the summer as the price advertised on their website was reasonable & the reviews were great but arrived to find their prices significantly higher than advertised (over $10 more for the basic wash I was wanting) and no accountability for the discrepancy. All I got was a "yeah, we haven't updated our prices on the website yet." Hopefully they are more honest and upfront about their prices now, that is a huge turnoff for me. read more

I paid for the lowest level of car wash, which is only $15 and included with that I got cleaner spray, microfiber towels, vacuum, air compressor, and a machine that cleans your mats ! They provide everything...towels, window cleaner, crescent tool vacuum wand (really...have you ever seen that at a car wash), compressed air, floor mat washer!!! To the jeep owner who is bitchin' about streaks ... bitch at Jeep for putting so many turns in your design that hold water! Don't like the towels, Ted's the first car wash with compressed air to get those hidden spots so you won't have water come out while driving away ... you spent the $$'s on the nice Jeep..don't take it out on Ted's Car Wash if you're not willing to put in the work to keep it clean. To the "bug" driver from Florida!!!...seriously!!! Why is it Ted's fault that you've driven countless days/states with dried bugs and expect a "spray" to remove them?? Mentioned to attendant spraying car that I had just driven back from Florida and had a lot of bugs on front of car, she assured me that the wash would remove them and didn't to any extra spraying, car was still covered with bugs. Also one side of car was still covered in soap suds after rinsing and drying. Not sure if I'll return. read more

At first I thought the car wash itself was a little pricey, but all the extras make up for it (automatic car mat cleaner, microfiber towels, glass cleaners, vacuum, and air gun). Excellent first visit and I will be back. Had just driven here from San Diego and the front of my car was covered in bugs. So bad. There isn't a "bug removal" option so she suggested I do mud removal and they would soak bug remover and do high pressure spray a few times then offered a second run through if I wasn't happy. What excellent service!! I wish I had gotten her name... teenager ( or very young adult) in French braids. I did have to scrub the front with a towel to get the remnants off but she even came out to check on me when I was drying. So hard to find service like this these days. read more
