I have been a Surf N Suds service member for many years and loved the price and the service. But recently, the price increased from $17$ a month to $26$. I did not receive a notice, but I noticed when I looked through my credit card account. I sent an email to discuss the issue, but I did not receive a response. I called a few weeks later, but I did not get a callback. I attempted to discuss this with the MOD and was told to just get a different sticker. I called again today. We will see. I just want to discontinue my membership. read more

This happened a couple of years ago, but I still get irritated when I drive by this place. I used to frequent this car wash once a week or two. I know I need to push the button to stop the credit card charge. The second to last time I went there my card was charged the full hold amount. I dismissed it as me being forgetful. Then the last time it happened again. I texted with the owner and told him what happened. He tried to tell me that the charge would settle to actual time used. I sent him a screenshot of my card being charged the full hold amount and he ghosted me. read more

Shady! I signed up for the one month, lowest price wash. Machine to pay wasn't working. Employee helped. Signed me up for the wrong monthly wash. I immediately attempted to get it fixed. They were resistant, and then refused. I asked who would fix the overcharge, and was advised I needed to speak with the owner. I was also not told the car wash would continue to charge me monthly. Imagine my surprise to see the extra charges on my card. I finally spoke with the owner who told me he would cancel membership and credit back overcharge. Then someone who claimed he was the manager rudely accused me of lying and trying to rip them off. I opted to call and relay what the owner had promised. Received a text back telling me no refund would be provided. read more

I googled this place for a simple full service wash and upon arrival they let me know it would be $150. They also said there was no one available for any interior vacuuming or cleaning unless u wanted pay for a full detail? 2 employees only read more

I come here all the time and they usually do a great job. Some older guy with long hair did an awful job on the interior cleaning. My dashboard, and doors weren't even wiped off you could clearly see the dust everywhere. It wasn't vacuumed correctly either. When I confronted him about it he was extremely rude and told me that this place wasn't a right fit and that I'm just nitpicking. I will never go back to this place for a car wash and detailing. One employee ruined all future business. read more

WOW! Had the wife's black car washed here today. Chose the $20.00 wash with hand drying and tire shine. After almost completing the hand drying they decided the car was not clean enough and ran it back through! Now that's customer service that's rarely seen anymore! I will definitely be back! So let me premise this by saying I guess I shouldn't be surprised, although I went in with very low expectations, I was still let down. I paid $15 for the premium wash, figuring the guy there is going to use his cart full of goodies for something. First mistake... it's an automated wash in which he told me how far to pull up, that's it. After the entire 35 seconds your car is in the wash it will come out still dirty, even if all you had was a little dust from the rain, there will be suds still in the back half and you better have something to dry it with, because those dryers are useless. EDIT: Owner reached out to me, to do his best to make this right. It's a huge sign to me that that James cares about his business and his customers. While I still recommend the self wash as opposed to the touchless, I will return based on this interaction alone... read more

Usually pretty solid! Went there today there track on auto wash rushed me through then the track put me in reverse came off track smashed into side of there wash I put car in drive get out car wash and there guy tells me I put it in reverse and needs my insurance info. Surf and Duds say it's on tape but when I called to review tape w the GM or who ever runs that place I get no return call but they put in claim with my insurance. I guess from here we will let the insurance and court handle it. read more

This is my favorite car wash. I usually never like automatic washes but they brush down your vehicle before you even go through. For a small fee they will even hand dry and tire shine. My sub-Barbara looks so good every time and for a $25 a month as many washes as you need. They're friendly, pay attention to details and efficient. Love this place! Great place, and a great wash. My only problems were that it's a little tricky to get to when coming from the north, and that service could be a little faster. Maybe get a few more people on staff to help with wipedowns, vacuums, etc. The guys really take their time to do a great job, which sometimes makes you late from your lunch break. :) read more
