The transmission is on its last legs and the shops are quoting me 7,000$ dollars to get it replaced(almost as much as I paid for the car.) along with other issues as well. I have owned the car for less than five months and discovered what a piece of junk it is (after I paid top dollar for the car is worth). Avoid this dealership at all costs, especially if you don't have a ton of cash lying around to repair the car they sell you, and beware of any car you do end up purchasing. Overall, I feel screwed over, and if you are not careful. You will likely end up in the same situation I am in. This place will screw you over with no remorse, and this is the exact type of place that gives car dealerships a bad reputation. Beware, and buy at the risk of being screwed over. Don't make the same mistake I did. If you need any more information on experiences with them. Look it up on Facebook, etc. I am far from the first person being screwed over by them, and I am sure I am far from the last. I cant emphasize enough, avoid this dealership at all costs!!!

It was as advertised (perfect). Exactly what I'd been searching for. The sale went smoothly and I did opt for their Maxcare service plan. After a few days with the vehicle I noticed a couple of minor things so I notified Carmax and they had me in a couple days later and resolved them all. I'll admit I was nervous about buying from carmax at first but it's been the best car buying experience I've ever had and I'm picky about my cars. Thanks Carmax Jake Johnston

I'll try to make this brief. I went to Carmax to sell my 2020 LT1 Camaro but we ran into an issue. An individual bought the car from Carmax in 2021 they say he still owes $30k on it. He apparantly abandoned the vehicle at a repair shop and walked away from the repair shop bill and the loan. The repair shop went through the process to legally acquire the car and get it titled. They sold it to a dealership (who I spoke with), who sold it to the person I bought it from. Carmax Financial is telling me I have to go back to the repair shop (No clue what the shop is) and get them to figure it out, even though they went through the legal process in Tennessee to get the title. In a nutshell, some lowlife in Tennessee owes Carmax money and Carmax is making it my problem.

Soon after, the spark plug wires kept popping off. Even worse, the high-pressure fuel line wasn't properly clamped, causing it to blow off and start an engine fire. When I called Terry to explain what happened, his response was, "I don't know what you did." The truck left his shop in an unsafe condition, and instead of taking responsibility, he blamed me. He also gutted my air conditioning system, removed parts, and never returned them. Missing basic safety items like vacuum and fuel line clamps after a complete engine rebuild is unacceptable. My experience was dangerous, expensive, and extremely disappointing. I would not trust this shop with another vehicle.

I put a jug of water in it and made my way carefully to the nearest mechanic I could find in Norwalk. Luckily it was Terrys Auto Clinic! It was a Friday afternoon and he is closed on the weekends, so after talking to him I left my car there and he said he would look at it Monday morning. Monday came around and he called me up at told me I had a cracked radiator! I was bummed and thought surely it would take some time to replace. He had my car done that afternoon and it's running great so far! (Knock on wood) he was friendly and informative on the issue and what may have caused it and quick with the fix while being reasonably priced. I left a satisfied customer and if I have car issues I'll definitely keep Terrys in mind.
