From May until September 30th, you can come to the Mall at Lexington Green and experience an outdoor concert with rotating lineups each Friday and Saturday. Palmers has a little setup selling beer near the stage area. Or you can enjoy bites and drinks on the patio of Palmers, but you choose to get drinks at Palmers, you can't bring them off of their property/patio. Jax, used to be a burger pub is located close to the stage area and is now only open on Friday and Saturday. They now only serve JRenders BBQ, with a limited and simple menu and drinks. Unlike Palmers, you can actually purchase drinks there and take them out to the seating/stage area. The hours are 7-10pm. We got there about 30 minutes early and already the parking lot at the bottom of The Mall was already full. Not to worry though, you can park up top at the front entrance of The Mall. There's a shuttle that runs up and down the hill between the two parking areas. We just walk through Joseph Beth Bookstore, which isn't a bad walk at all. They have some tables and seating areas, but your best bet is to bring your own lawn chairs. Don't forget to bring your dancing shoes too!

For the past seven years, she has performed regionally as both a soloist and an ensemble member at a range of venues, including: the Kentucky Center for the Arts, the Frazier History Museum, the Norton Center for the Arts, the Lexington Opera House, the Iroquois Amphitheatre, the Brown Theatre, the Station Inn, the Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Kentucky State Senate. Blakeley has been honored by the North American Country Music Association, the Tennessee/Georgia Country and Gospel Music Association, and the Twin Lakes National Fiddle Contest. Not great, but you're not here for craft cocktails. I had the garden variety, made with Jamaican rum, curry orgeat, velvet falernum, Montenegro, lime, and grenadine. Sweet and a little watery. The Baby gap was probably my favorite, made with mezcal, luxardo, grapefruit, dem syrup, angostura, salt, and malort spritz. I was really surprised by how much I liked this drink. It was smoky and a little savory. I also had the HOA punch, made with Tito's, chamomile lemon ginger tea, scorched lemon, suav blanc syrup, and lemon. It had a tiki vibe. Arcadium has movie nights, including "bad" movie nights which are campy and fun. They do have a large beer list. I was hoping to play some arcade games (I brought tons of ones and a roll of quarters), but they don't have very many games and several are out of order, so that was a bummer. I'll try them out again. Random fact: Arcadium is adjacent to Favor, a niche restaurant that's hard to get into, and they provide the cocktails for the restaurant when they do dinner services.
