I've been to Manchester quite a few times and have had a consistent experience every time. First the good...drink selection is top notch for a small music venue. They have all the liquor you'd expect but the beer selection is quality. Always a good mix of domestics, craft, and local beers. They bring in a good variety of National acts. From rock to bluegrass and just about everything in between. The ticket prices are always affordable, even for the bigger names. There are some needs for improvement though. If you are an audiophile, you may not be happy. The sound is good enough for me to have a good time but it's not perfect. Also, be aware that some acts have a VIP area. That area takes up the entire front half of the venue with seats so if you like to stand as close to the stage as possible you will be disappointed. Even if you buy VIP seating I rarely see people stand in that area so stand at your own risk.

I've been to Manchester for several shows. Always a great line-up of top notch performers. Last night I saw Grammy Award winners The Steep Canyon Rangers with ticketed seats. You pay more for a seat vs general admission, but it's worth it especially for serious listeners. Manchester does a great job ensuring parking is ample and organized (be prepared to pay a parking fee) and keeping patrons safe by checking ID's, purses etc. Every event I have attended has had a food truck available so its ok if you arrive hungry. If there is a chatty crowd the noise level can interfere with the sound. Having a ticked seat helps ensure a quality listening experience.

This was our 2nd trip, This concert was sold out & I love Cadillac 3, The last time they were in gown was 2004. They have a lot National small bands who haven't made it big yet. They only negative thing I can say is sucks getting out the place. All the Uber, Lift & Buses have traffic shut down Manchester Street. Sure would be nice to see a little traffic control. We're headed back in March I

I came here for a concert. The band was good and the space to see watch the band was great. I really didn't feel like there was a bad view in the place, but it was not overly crowded. I am not sure if they have a cap on how many people can come in, but many more people and it would have been over crowded. The inside was very neat. Rustic looking and a great open concept. Upstairs had some seating for VIPs. The bartenders were good and helpful if you could get their attention. I was not crazy about the staff working. I appreciate a staff that is helpful and nice, as we are the paying consumer. They were rude on multiple occasions. As we were waiting for our ride they told us to move out of the parking lot, however if we moved then we were in front of the line for the food truck. Our ride was only a minute away. Instead of asking us nicely they proceeded to yell at us that we were in the way and asked if we "blind." Incredibly rude. They also patrolled the floor during the concert, which was fine, but would push you out of their path if you were in their way, spilling your drink. As mentioned before their parking is awful so take an uber! I think the manchester music hall could be a great venue, I would just work on overall customer service.

I really love this venue. It is standing room only really but it's an intimate setting with bands. I love the variety of music genres they get in there. There is something everyone could find an event they could love to go to. They have a food truck outside typically. Parking can get a little hectic , but if you Lyft or Uber you can avoid that headache. Ticket prices are reasonable to see new and old artists alike!

I loved this venue. There is a bar in the same room as the stage, but also one in the other room which made for really quick service. The amount of beers on tap was awesome and quite frankly I'm not used to that at a lot of music venues. There were plenty of stalls available in the updated women's restroom. The music sounded great and there was plenty of space for everyone to stand. The guy working parking was a bit of a douche, but overall this is a great venue.

Had to stand on the bench to see the band and then was told by security to get off of it.

This is definitely a college hangout. I was expecting a little more intimate experience where I could actually hear and see the band. All I heard and saw were drunk college kids getting drunker by the minute. I won't be back. The acoustics were horrible and the person running the sound board must have hearing loss in the lower range because the bass was cranked up so loud it was the only part of the songs you could hear. There was only a bench along one wall sit on, otherwise you had to stand.

I've been here twice. Jackal and Puddle of Mudd. Fantastic place! Seeing artists in this type of atmosphere is way better than at a stadium.

A great venue for live music! The security team does a good job keeping everyone safe. Drinks are pricey but ticket prices are inexpensive.

We ended up parking on the pay lot, which had limited options other than overnight for about $20... obviously, that is not their fault though. The arcade seemed fun but we weren't able to play since we had no cash/cards. It definitely had a nostalgic vibe. Since we got there early, we were able to secure free seating, but most of the benches were about to fall apart; we moved a few times, eventually to the top of one of the bars which had great views. Drinks were okay, I didn't get to try their food unfortunately since they were slammed. The only thing I didn't like was that we paid for the event, got a wristband, but there were so many ways you could have gotten in without paying anything at all. I'd love to give them another try when there is no event.

There's plenty of seating, a super cool laid-back atmosphere, and the kind of crowd that makes you feel like you picked the right place without even trying. Bonus: the UK basketball game was on, the place was packed with fans, and the Cats WON so the energy was immaculate. High fives, cheers, happy strangers everywhere. You love to see it. We had the German Pilsner and the American Light. Both were crisp, refreshing, and exactly what you want in hand while celebrating a UK win. No notes. It's one of those spots where you go for "just a quick drink" and immediately start planning your next visit. We'll definitely be back to try food from Lucy's and hopefully catch a show next time. Great beer, great crowd, great vibes. Go Cats.

From May until September 30th, you can come to the Mall at Lexington Green and experience an outdoor concert with rotating lineups each Friday and Saturday. Palmers has a little setup selling beer near the stage area. Or you can enjoy bites and drinks on the patio of Palmers, but you choose to get drinks at Palmers, you can't bring them off of their property/patio. Jax, used to be a burger pub is located close to the stage area and is now only open on Friday and Saturday. They now only serve JRenders BBQ, with a limited and simple menu and drinks. Unlike Palmers, you can actually purchase drinks there and take them out to the seating/stage area. The hours are 7-10pm. We got there about 30 minutes early and already the parking lot at the bottom of The Mall was already full. Not to worry though, you can park up top at the front entrance of The Mall. There's a shuttle that runs up and down the hill between the two parking areas. We just walk through Joseph Beth Bookstore, which isn't a bad walk at all. They have some tables and seating areas, but your best bet is to bring your own lawn chairs. Don't forget to bring your dancing shoes too!
