We were the only ones being rushed when there were high schoolers just on their phones taking their time and other as well going very slow. The groundskeepers were trying to do their thing and it would slow the pace a bit but the Marshalls didn't care. I really didn't wanna see it this way but we also happened to be the only Hispanic group and after the way we were being rushed and picked it it's pretty reasonable to assume not very nice things. Overall I've had great experiences at the course over the years but this newer staffing is very interesting.

The course is fun and challenging enough to keep you coming back. I love the staff. I am always greeted by name and with a smile. At the end of your round you can sit on the raised back deck that overlooks the course and parts of Healdsburg and enjoy a drink and some snacks. The practice range has been brought modern with computerized golf tracking machines that you can use to work on each club use or you can play distant courses virtually while actually striking the ball. There are even hosted events for the practice range. The prices are good and the events and instruction classes fill up fast. Don't miss out on this gem. You just feel good after you play this course.

Definitely debated renting a canoe as well but we just didn't have enough time. The bikes were perfect to get us around town and down a trial close by. We had them reserved for 3 hours but they weren't worried about our time limit as long as we got them back by 4:30. The owners of the shop are super chill and relaxed. We felt very welcomed in their space. It was easy to book online and they're very responsive and flexible. I will say the breaks on the bike were a little worn but didn't pose any issues for us. We felt safe riding around and had no trouble.

The quality of the fairways is amazing and the bunkers are fluffy. My family enjoy our times at the club. For me the best part is that I can go and play 18 holes of golf is under 3 hours, outside of the typical busy hours like Saturday morning. I never have to worry about being hit by a golf ball and people are very friendly. Every hole is different and is a good challenging course to play. The greens are fast often 11+. The club is investing a lot into improving, since I've been there I've seen a new pool deck, pickle ball courts, tennis and pickle ball court floodlights, new gym with Foresight Eagle Sim Room, Spin Studio, Large studio room, and many other things. They have discounts for military / law enforcement (even retired). After that, it seems to go down hill. The carts are old and worn. There are no trash cans on the course. Why? People were placing their empty cans/bottles on the half barrels hole description / markers. There is no sand in the bunkers. A lot of the cart paths are in dire need of repair. There was no water available on the course. They had the little huts, but no coolers inside. It was 90 degrees today. No drink cart on the course. No water on the course. That's insane. The course is still challenging and fun to play, but seriously...it could be so much better. Especially considering the location it's in. They seem to be riding on the fumes of the reputation they had decades ago.
