The third level has many more classrooms. It also has the social studies/world language office, math and science office, and special needs office. One can find the class easily by the wing, floor number, and room number. For example C306 is located at the C wing, on the 3rd floor in room number 6. It is to note that the pool is very nasty and I've been told that they had to shut it down for a period of time due to the amount of bacteria.

The downstairs has classroom and science lab. Also, the health room, art room, Home Ec. Room , the PLTW classroom are also located down here. This school combined students who are from many elementary schools in the district. They have 7 and 8 grade. Each grade belongs to each side of school. The hallway has a line in the middle to help students to travel safely from one class to another. The teachers are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. In some classes, teachers give students second chances to retake tests to improve their grades. Hot lunch is available for all students with reasonable prices. They also have a snack room full of delicious and reasonably priced snacks. The majority students are taking the bus to school. There's an police officer on site during school time. After they finished 8th grade, many students go to different high school based on their home location (such as Bartlett High School, South Elgin High School ) to continue their education and fulfill their goals.

If you are a minority, specifically a Black person, you and your child would not be treated like other races. Their rules are broken for "non-Blacks" but a Black person is expected to follow them at all times. You and your child would be made to feel uncomfortable and bringing the issue to the staff only makes you feel more ostracized. I have been strongly considering sending my daughter back to public school. They claim to be more advanced in their studies than a public school, but my daughter is reading a book that she read in Public School three years ago. I am so disappointed in myself for choosing this school. The way that I feel treated by them is not against the law, but I do feel that it is a moral issue. Is this really the Catholic faith?

As serious as the resulting out-of-school suspension and Saturday schools (2 of 'em!) were, I had trouble holding back the laughter! At least I had a week off to practice Foosball at "the Barn" and Saturday school locker cleaning duty resulted in me getting my first "Schaumburg Saxon Pride Award..." the one I stole from some award-winning kid's locker who didn't turn the dial to lock it! Haha, Schaumburg High School sucked when I went there, and I'm sure it sucks now!
