My tire pressure monitoring sensor in my RV went off about 5 miles down the freeway at 4 pm the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. I jumped on yelp to find a nearby tire repair shop and this came up,amongst others. Based on my past experiences I knew I wanted a local place that worked in large vehicles so I drove straight there. They were mire than happy to accommodate me, figured out it was a bad valve stem on the inside back tire (dually), fixed it and got me in my way in less than an. He even said no charge (but I did tip the guy who worked on it). I'd go here if I lived here for sure, or if I ever have issues when up in his part of the state I'd feel confident they could take care of me. Several months ago I had a flat tire on my wagon. Tehama tire after closing time repaired the tire. Today I asked them to switch alloy wheels on my truck. No problem. Shinny new wheels, balanced and Tire pressure sensors installed. Talk about quick. I wasn't going to give this place or a review, but the customer service was just so horrendous, I just can't not let people know about it. They boast about their superior customer service in the how quick they are, but I experienced the polar opposite. I needed help because my tire was losing air because a screw was in it. I have had this happen with previous tires, so I know that the entire process of looking at it, removing the nail or screw, patching it up, takes a matter of minutes. But all the tire places in Red Bluff were having this bizarre insurgents of customers and were all behind 2 hours. It was just weird af! So I called this place and the lady nicely told me they could help and to come on by which gave me the impression that there was little to no wait and I can finally just get this done and go back to work. I had already been gone 20 minutes longer than I was allowed during the work day so I had to get back quickly! I get there and the waiting Room is completely empty. The lady was nice and told me to take a seat and basically that I was up next. It didn't look super busy in front so I expected to wait a few minutes. A man with Gray hair walks in that works there says something to her and she points out that I'm next and need my tire looked at and he glances over to me and abruptly tells her that he needs to be done at 5 and basically schedule no one else. Didn't great me, didn't ask how I can't be helped. Absolutely nothing and he walked away. I figured he would not be the one helping me so I kept wiating and waiting...15 to 20 minutes goes by with no 1 speaking to me, giving estimate of how long I will be sitting there, and because I don't wanna be fired from my job I got up and nicely asked her about how much longer the wait will be and she literally said "I don't know" and then went back to working. She went from being kind and professional to rude AF! Zero considerarion for a customers time. I stood there kind of bewildered. When you ask someone how long the wait will be somewhere, they should at least give you some kind of estimate! "I don't know" ?? Well get off your ass and go ask how long then!!!!! Then I said" I guess I'm gonna have to go then..." for which she then picked up the phone and started calling someone unless it was an incoming call, don't now, don't care! I went from thinking I was actually gonna get my tire patched up to driving around aimlessly not knowing what to do. It was like a Twilight Zone experience. So, don't go there if you need help with something! That's the moral of that story, even if on the phone they pretend they can help. Go across the street to Les Schwab instead. At the very least, they came right over to me before I even went inside, looked at the tire, confirmed it was losing air and could be patched up, gave me air, and told me to go inside and make an appointment for which I did for the next day. They at least took a second to come out, greet me, and at least look at the tire. That's all I was really asking of the other place. Since it was cleared everyone was super overwhelmed, even though Tegama tire center had the least clients of all 5 tire places I went to and looked completely dead. Hands down best experience with Tehama Tire. We are from the Central Valley and first time in the area. After a long nice hike in Lassen, we discovered our rear tire had a screw. By the time we got into Red Bluff and driving 40 mph it was past midnight. Next day in the morning, we decided to go to Les Schwab but after they notified us it would be an hour wait, we came over to Tehama Tire. They got us in quickly and gave us a 30 min wait estimate. They finished in 15 and they did not charge us! Thank you Tehama, you made our remaining road trip a safe one. Now off to more sightseeing! read more
