Such great cider options (and beer too ... says my wife). Definitely a chill atmosphere. I wrote this place off for a while but stumbled in to grab some roadies before an evening on the roof and have been coming back since. I love the sarcastic guy. Food looks solid but haven't tried it yet. Will report back later. Highly recommend son of man ciders.

I was on a trip to Seattle and had a few hours to spare. Some friends and I met up at TeKu Tavern for some beers. We wound up coming back three more times?! Sean and Seth were great hosts and very helpful with making our beer selections. They have an entire wall of taps but even more choices available to drink in or take to go as a bottle shop! They serve food and snacks but also don't mind if you bring food in or have it delivered. There are shelves full of game to play and even a few TV screens spread around if you want to keep an eye on the game. We had a great experience with the crew at TeKu Tavern!

During our trip to Seattle we decided to try out all of the local spots that were in walking distance from our hotel. We kept passing by this place, which was completely packed, so we decided to go when it wasn't too crowded. This very modern, yet cozy cafe embodies all of the things I enjoy. Delicious coffee, an array of alcoholic beverages and a variety of different games to keep you entertained. Everyone was super friendly and were delighted to speak to us regarding the beers on tap. The beers we chose were crisp and refreshing with a silky, smooth taste. After the first sip, we instantly felt relaxed, even with the hustle and bustle of the patrons surrounding us. Before we left, we decided to grab a hot coffee to-go, and it did not disappoint.

I came here on a Friday after work for the first time and it was perfect! Drink selections for everyone beer, wine and cider. They have games and lots of cool places to sit including some outdoor seating. I like it here. Customer service was fast and friendly.

I didn't expect to have fun during my visit, but I did. I only came in to relax and have a drink after playing pickleball one day. I honestly thought TeKu was going to be a corner market that served beer. Instead I walked into an actual beer hall that is very small and a lot more modern than what I'm used to. I don't think this is a German beer hall either. Even crazier, there were plenty of people inside, but it was only 3pm on a Wednesday. The ordering counter is up front when you walk in. You order your drink based on size for most. A few only come in one size. The seating are is to the side. There are fridges through with individual beverages you can purchase. I didn't pay much attention to those as the beer I ordered tasted great. Also there are tvs all around. This would be a great place to come and watch a sports game.

I was pleasantly surprised with TeKu! It was a great place to do work but would come back with friends to hang out. My boyfriend and I came to do work on a Sunday. We sat at the bar and I ordered a cider the Channel Marker Apple Sauce on tap and my boyfriend got a can of the honey badger. We loved both! It was soooo good! We got hungry and ordered a pretzel with cheese and mustard - bomb! Such a chill place. There are games for folks to play. Plenty of seating. Probably one of my new favorite places to do work. Would so come back.

Food - mostly bring your own food here but they do have small snacks and such for purchase. Mostly premade cheese platters, sandwiches, and chips. Lots of tap selections including coffee, cider, beer, and wine. Sometimes they also have cocktails. Service - the bartenders are very friendly and helpful in getting you the drink you want. They are often very busy though so give them some time. Ambiance - it's fun for trivia and pretty chill outside of events. Plenty of seating and dog friendly which is awesome!

Stopped by mid afternoon to grab drinks. It wasn't too busy when we came in, so we had lots of options on choosing where we wanted to sit. Good customer service in helping us select what drinks we wanted. I am not a big drinker and prefer sweeter drinks, so I was happy with the drink the staff member suggested.

Nice place for a nice drink, a lot of great options! We found this place by accident when visiting Seattle, definitely not disappointed. Will go back again!

    Cheers!

Wander down streets and see this place tucked off behind the railroad tracks. Had a couple glasses of water and a sharpie mustache beer while wife debated if she wanted to eat there or not. Got another third side on the moon beer and ordered a Seattle burger (cream cheese, who knew) with tots and an elote. Asked the guy how he felt about the mushrooms and he gave them a very enthusiastic rating so I ordered some. Freaking A. The mushrooms are worth the plae ticket to Seattle. Dill ranch dip. Crispy and delicious. The burger was good, more of a cream cheese sauce. The tots were just as tots should be crunchy on the outside and soft inside The elotes retained their heat for so long that we had them for dessert.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
