I had an issue with the keys to my locks not working properly (likely my fault for getting them mixed up or something) and Denise immediately solved the problem by cutting off the old locks, installing new ones that had matching keys & held onto an extra set of keys in the office should I put myself in another bind. Upon being able to open the lock on one of our 3 units, I was unable to open the door. My previous movers had stacked boxes in such a way that they collapsed. Ronnie went out of his way to get the door open, take the boxes out and restack everything properly. They are always riding the property with cold water on hand for customers that are working in their units. I really can't say enough about this facility other than the fact that I am really going to miss them when we get our units cleared out this week! if you are looking for a storage facility in Tuscaloosa, you won't regret using this group! He even climbed into my unit to shuffle things around so we could make the rug fit! I was very surprised at how hands on they are with helping their customers. The man at the front desk was also very helpful as I had several questions for him. When I didn't know what size unit to lease, he walked me around the facility showing me different sizes so I could know which one I needed. Last…read moreweek we hired movers to relocate the entire contents of the storage unit - which included the furniture for an entire apartment - and discovered that the majority of items had been destroyed by rodents. There were holes chewed in the couch with the stuffing pulled out. Both the couch and the love seat were unsalvageable. The boxes that had been taped shut and sealed were all chewed through. The packing paper was chewed up and there were droppings and blood EVERYWHERE. All the items we had hired movers to load up the truck had to be unloaded, inspected, most thrown away, reboxed, and reloaded - costing us hundred of extra dollars. As if this wasn't enough, when we contacted the office, the owner, Ron Owens, was very unhelpful but agreed to meet at the storage unit and look at the damaged sofa. Upon inspection, he said he had no responsibility for any damage in any of the units and the only thing he could offer was to "read the lease agreement". Needless to say, we are extremely unhappy after paying to have these items stored for the last two years to find that they were destroyed. This was a waste of two years of payments considering most items had to be thrown away due to the blood and feces covering it.
