Ordered a washer and dryer through Home Depot. The dryer ended up not working properly, so we returned and it and the company came to pick it up. About a week later, I received a call from Temco saying they couldn't return the dryer because the serial tag was missing. I assured them we did not remove it but they said there was nothing they could do. They said they'd hold the machine while we worked it out with Home Depot/Whirlpool. It has been WEEKS of this, hours on the phone, and every time we talk to whirlpool, we get a different story. First it was "yes, we have the machine," now sometimes they say they don't have the machine? There is a secondary serial number on the machine that they "claim" they "cannot find." Ridiculous and this business is very sketchy. Furthermore, they improperly installed our washing machine (did not bring or install the hose clamp) which led to the hose coming unattached and water flooding out. Luckily we were in the room and able to stop it quickly or it could have been MUCH worse. Home Depot thankfully gave us a clamp for free that we were able to install. This company is unprofessional and untrustworthy. read more

Worst experience ever to have dishwasher installed and hauled away at my rental townhouse. First visit by Jose Fonseca was cancelled because of leaky valve. Tried to reschedule after valve was repaired but was told installation was cancelled. Jose said Temco would cancel the charge on my credit card but he could install it the same day if I paid him what Home Depot charged me. I said OK since there were so many days of delay already. He then left the old dishwasher in the fire lane of the complex and told my tenant it would be picked up within 2 days. It is still sitting in the fire lane after 5 days. After 2 phone calls and put on hold for a long time I was informed I needed to ask for a new work order. The earliest date they could give me to haul the dishwasher away was no sooner than 3 more days! People please do not use installation service at Home Depot. read more

Sadly, I experienced what other reviewers experienced. I told Home Depot that they should stop using this company. Set up installation day, they came and said they couldn't install, and would have to leave the appliance. Delivery people gave several incorrect numbers to contact to reschedule. Then, when I do get Temco on the phone, the office staff on the was rude. Drivers promised to come on a Saturday, but then when I called, they said installers could only do a weekday. I took another day off of work, and they didn't show up, and told Home Depot it was my fault because I was supposed to call and make the appointment I had already made with them. I spent at least 14 hours total on the phone with them and Home Depot and missed two days work trying to get everything sorted out. Home Depot came and took everything back. We are ordering from another company now. read more

I ordered a washer & dryer from Home Depot and they used Temco to deliver it. I wish they had used someone else. I got an automated call from LG before my originally scheduled delivery date that the item was backordered, and my delivery date was pushed out over a month. The new delivery date is set, and so I simply wait to hear from them. The day before, Temco calls. They will deliver in the morning between 7am and 11am. Now, with everything else that I've had delivered, I have been able to have some flexibility with the time of day or date of my delivery. Not so with Temco. They can only come in the morning, which is hugely inconvenient for me, and they refuse to schedule it to a later date because "we've had the item now for 30 days and so to push out the delivery date would mean cancelling and reordering the product." WHAT?! You've had my items for 30 days and it's just been sitting there? Whose f'd-up system has a washer and dryer sitting in a warehouse for 30 DAYS (which is another 30 days AFTER it was PAID FOR) without anyone bothering to ask if it can be delivered?! I am floored that these guys' job is to pick shit up from one place, and put it down in another, and they can't seem to get that right. On top of that, they refuse to install my washer when they delivered the appliances. I later confirmed with Home Depot that my delivery should have included basic hook-up for the washer and they had insisted that "we haven't been paid to install." Now I have Home Depot looking into it, but these guys are a mess. One star because they came when they said they would. So great job, guys. One star for doing your freaking job. read more

Horrendous, horrendous company. Like some others on yelp, I came in contact with Temco because I bought a washer and dryer from Home Depot. (I won't be shopping at Home Depot again either, but back to Temco...) They delivered the washer and dryer and the washer was damaged, so I refused both. A week and a half later, Temco delivered the replacement washer and dryer. BOTH were damaged. The most outrageous part was that the boxes had been cut open and wrapped back around the damaged washer and dryer. I.e. they KNEW it was damaged before they delivered it to me. AND the driver showed me the notes on his clipboard stating that these goods were damaged! My husband and I spoke to a manager at Temco, who seemed sympathetic. He said he would call Maytag (the maker of the washer and dryer) first thing the next morning and call us back. He said he would expedite replacements and get us compensation for our trouble. My husband thought he was a straight shooter. Come next morning, no call. In fact, the manager never called. I called Temco and was told "he doesn't work today." I immediately cancelled my order with Home Depot. Heaven help anyone who comes in contact with Temco . Avoid them at all costs, and don't buy online from Home Depot, who does business with a disreputable outfit who WILL NOT deliver the goods you have paid for. read more

Agree with others. 0 stars. When I ordered a fridge I specified it must be delivered on the small truck because I live in a rural area. Instructions were on the order form and sent to dispatch. 4 days before delivery I called dispatch to confirm that I wanted the small truck. They confirmed its on their instructions. I did this because a couple years ago I ordered another appliance and requested it to be delivered on a small truck and after two attempts of bringing the wrong truck. I just picked it up myself Three days before delivery I got a call from the manufacture who wanted to confirm my order. I mentioned about the problems I had in the past and he said he would call dispatch person emphasize the point. The day before scheduled delivery the dispatcher called and asked if they could reschedule because they didn't have a small truck available. I was about upset about the reschedule but happy the reconfirmed the small truck being needed. I didn't want to repeat of what happened previously . Day of delivery and guess what? You guessed correctly. No small truck. "We seemed to of made a mistake". They promised first delivery of the day (8 am ) for the next attempt. I reluctantly agreed. Uodate: i'm well past the first delivery of the day and now they say they have no record that I'm supposed to be the first delivery of the day. Can't believe these clowns. I actually had a wonderful experience. My home is pretty old so many of the doorways are sometimes a bit too small to get appliances through. Juan Guzman and Ponchito walked through the delivery path first to make sure my new washer would fit. Juan also mentioned certain things that could be affected while turning old water faucet lines off and then on again. Now, I'm good with people warning me about things that might happen because when they do then you are mentally prepared and when they don't happen, you get to do the dance of joy. Home Depot let me know in advance that they would only hook-up new appliances with new water hoses so I had those ready. And Ponchito made sure the new unit was in the house and ready to go the moment Juan had the old unit out. Juan also went through a demo of how the unit worked to make sure that it was operational and in good working order. Not a bump or scratch on the unit or my doorways. Both were very nice even though this is early for them too. Just as I was told by Home Depot, I got my call the day ahead of time with the delivery time of 7am to 11 am. I got my call on the day of service at 6:35 am letting me know they would be there in half an hour, and they showed up as expected. I was also given a slip of paper with the information on how to contact the delivery service if I had further questions. And I was asked to call in and let the customer service know how the delivery went. (And I just got my follow-up automated call. Good stuff.) I figure Yelp was a more official way to let them know that Juan and Ponchito were perfectly patient while dealing with this night owl who is on "slow" before noon. I don't think I've ever had an install that went as smoothly except when my Dad helped me with something (but he bought me lunch so I think I can't Yelp him. Rules are rules, you know.) read more

Terrible! Hiring this outfit must be nepotism. Ordered kitchen appliances from Home Depot. We paid for installation and haul away of our old appliances. They gave us a four hour window and they came a half hour after the window. The delivery person refused to bring up the appliances. He argued with us that they would not fit and made excuses about the plumbing for our dishwasher. We refunded our appliances the next day at Home Depot. Went and purchased the same appliances at another merchant that does not use Temco. Installation was easy. read more

Regarding a dishwasher that was supposed to be delivered that I bought at Home Depot. Will never, ever buy from Home Depot again because of this delivery company. Beyond ridiculous. Unprofessional. Delivery Attempt #1: Delivery guys can't install dishwasher because they claim I need a new water valve. Take dishwasher back. I call a plumber, he said nothing is wrong with the valve, the guys didn't know what they were doing. Delivery Attempt #2: We reschedule to have them deliver on another day. They call us the day of delivery to let us know dishwasher didn't make it on the truck. They'll reschedule for another delivery two weeks later. Delivery Attempt #3: It's now two weeks later, and they call us to let us know the dishwasher didn't make it on the truck, AGAIN! They will deliver it the following week. Delivery Attempt #4: It's the following week. Slotted from 11:30 - 3:30. I call at 3:00 and they tell me they are running an hour late. I call again at 5:30 and my delivery was SKIPPED! Claimed they didn't have my paperwork and didn't bother to notify me that they weren't delivering the freaking dishwasher. Ray was supposed to call me to discuss. He obviously didn't. I call in again, speak with Robert. He apologizes profusely. "Don't worry sir, I'll take care of this. Give me some time, I'll locate the dishwasher in inventory and I'll call you back." Robert obviously didn't call. I call in again. Robert doesn't remember a freaking thing. Nothing. Again, "I gotta call you back." He doesn't. Has some terrified young kid named Ryan call me. Oh, I still don't have delivery of my dishwasher. Worst company to deal with. read more

Temco is the delivery company for Home Depot in the Los Angeles area and after dealing with their incompetence I seriously believe they should cancel the contract. I purchased a washer/dryer unit as mine was broken and asked that my old machine be taken away. I was given the delivery window of 10am-2pm on a Thursday... 4 days before i needed to leave the country for a few weeks. As i needed to get laundry done for myself, my wife and our newborn baby i was eager for the delivery. At 2pm on the day of delivery I received a call to say they were running late and would be in my area by 3pm. They did not arrive until 5pm, effectively taking up my entire day. BUT THIS IS NOT EVEN THE HALF OF IT. After coming in to inspect my old machine the delivery guy went out to the truck and started to unload my new machine only to call me out to show me it was damaged. The top panel was popped off so either they didn't check the inventory in the morning OR they didn't secure it correctly throughout the day and damaged it... I HAVE A DIFFERENT THEORY which i will get to soon... Obviously the machine was needed quickly given the mountain of laundry to do before a overseas trip but after calling TEMCO they said they couldn't have another one on the truck tomorrow as they had already packed it ready for Friday... The manager Steve was rather unhelpful and couldn't come up with a solution to get us our machine and the delivery guys refused to take our old one because they couldn't do both... Annoyed we scheduled delivery for the day after our return from overseas. NOW we get back from overseas and wait again for delivery. This time the delivery guy comes in and tells me - the area your old machine is in makes it impossible to remove. You need to saw away some wood panels to allow more clearance... didn't the last driver tell you this? OF COURSE HE DIDN'T!!! The new driver, who was very nice but I won't give his name given what he believed... suspected the first drivers decided it was too hard a job at 5pm on their day and found a way out... in other words, the initial damage of the machine could quite possibly have been done on purpose!!! The driver left to continue his deliveries with the promise to try to return later in the day if I could rectify the clearance situation. With this situation I had to rush to the store and buy a hand saw, saw through a cabinet and create space. Having done that by just after lunch we were then told by the manager, who is seriously not cut out for customer service, that it would now have to be the following morning... Incensed we made the company assure us we would be the first delivery on the schedule and were promised as much. At 7am the next morning the driver from the previous day, already on his way to us, realized our new machine had not been loaded onto the new truck and explained as they were already well away from the depot that it was likely we wouldn't get the machine again. Now obviously furious we once again dealt with Steve... and Home Depot on the phone at same time. Steve flat out LIED to home depot saying we had refused delivery of the machine the day before and so it was somehow our fault. We were never given the option to have our new machine AND EVEN IF WE DID WHAT HE SAYS it doesn't excuse the fact they once again made another error by not getting the machine on the new truck. Steve tried to say it wasn't possible to get the machine to us even though it was before 8am. After further intervention by Home Depot the drivers came and took out our old machine and the new one is apparently on its way, stuck in traffic. So the saga continues... ESSENTIALLY this company has some massive problems, headed by management, and I will be suggesting to Home Depot they reconsider their contract. read more

Unprofessional. Zero for a score. Failure as a company. Delivery employees with Violent demeanor. Threatening behavior. Abusive & obscene language utilized by their delivery employees while on the premises, in front of my wife, 13, 10 & 7 year old children. Then refused to leave the item. Reloaded & fled the property re-damaging all areas mentioned above, on the way in & back out. Especially when they were repeatedly told to utilize the main entrance/double door gates. Over 5 Failed scheduled delivery attempts over the past 15 days span since. Still no freezer yet! But, there are Severe damages to our driveway, trees/landscaping during their only physical attempt to date, when their drivers committed the act of unauthorized entry, illegal trespassing through a CLOSED secondary service gate. ALL while clearly ignoring posted signs (3) of "DO NOT ENTER" "NO TRESPASSING", "NOT A DELIVERY AREA". A few $'s under $4,000.00 worth of food, meats, poultry & seafood, purchased to fee a large family during emergencies, has been waiting on purchased ICE, $127.00 expense every other day, since the 24th of April when first delivery was not followed through/completed by this company. Not sure of ALL PHYSICAL DAMAGES TO OUR PROPERTY & cost of repairs due to this NEGLIGENCE, till we invest more time/effort in order to research those damages/proper repairs...15 days, 5 employees, 4 managers, 2 general managers, 17 phone calls, 5 emails & over 9 hours of time invested to get one item delivered...and still no item, no delivery & no resolution...!? Put yourself in my position, if you can... WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF THIS NIGHTMARE HAPPENED TO YOU & your family...?! read more

Shame on Home Depot for using a company like this. Temco was by far the hardest delivery company I've had to deal with and I've dealt with many. I had to get a special insurance waiver to get this company to deliver to my building. I was told this is very standard practice but it was impossible to get from Temco. I called their automated line to get someone on the phone but their automated line is just that. It's purposefully designed to keep you from reaching a person. I had to search for their phone number. I called, got and email address and was told I'd get a response that day. I waited and called again the next day, this time I was told a note was going directly to that person and to expect a call. Nope, finally I had to beg my building to let these people deliver and thankfully my building is amazing and told me they would escort the guys while they were here. I think it's their standard business practice to wait people out to see how much of a stink they will create. I was told I'd get a phone call 30 minutes before delivery. Nope. Got a ring at my doorbell. They took away the old fridge and brought the new one, but failed to install it correctly. I ended up having to call Whirlpool who helped me right away. A quick search through Google reviews told me I'm not the only one that feels this way about this company. Hopefully Yelp gets them the same bad visability. read more

Delivery was done well. I was telephoned the day before and give a time range for delivery. The delivery day I was called 10-20 mniutes prior to delivery. They arrived on time and unpacked my freezer and brought it into my garage and placed it where I wanted it. They cleaned up unpacking materials and left. Pleased with delivery. I have had a delivery from this company before and it was just as smooth. They were careful with my freezer both times, no worries about any damage. read more

Complete ***holes! Very unhelpful. Manager named Jim Garcia at 800-932-2009 basically was going to drop off a new refrigerator on the street for our tenants and not install, despite paying for install and move of old refrigerator. Said, "not my problem," despite being the 3P contactor that Home Depot hired to deliver and install the refrigerator. They were so unhelpful that I will consider not buying appliances at Home Depot anymore, and I will look to Sears or Lowes. read more
