I had a confirmed delivery for a convection oven that I bought at Home Depot, but the oven was not delivered nor was I notified of any change. After many hours on the phone, I discovered that Temco Logistics didn't even have the oven on its truck. What makes it even worse is that they reported that they tried to deliver it, but I was not available. That was a lie! They made no effort to get a replacement to me in a timely way. I will have to wait for their regular delivery schedule which leaves me without an oven for 5 days. Home Depot did give me a $75 gift certificate for the inconvenience, but nothing from Temco except lies. I would rather have had an oven. read more

Temco delivered a top load washer and dryer for Home Depot. The installers were rushing and ended up breaking the washer drain pan when they installed the washer. Went to use it the next day, only to have a loud grinding noise at the start of the wash cycle. Turns out that the idiot installers failed to extend the legs on the washer causing the bottom of the washer to touch the top of the washer drain pan's drain. When Home Depot contacted them, Temco said it would be two days before someone could come out and fix their installation error, totally unacceptable. Temco's employees clearly do not know what they are doing. I ended up fixing the issue myself with great difficulty, something I shouldn't have needed to do if Temco's employees knew what they were doing. Really tired of being subjected to these incompetent third party vendors that the big box retailers use for deliveries. They're all incompetent. read more

They very kindly explained no because of safety but I asked if they could wipe their feet and they did. What's the most interesting to me about this company is that all 204 reviews are "not recommended" so at first glance it looks like they have NO reviews. But if you click the bottom you can see all the reviews and 99% are the same poor experience I had. The delivery was a nightmare. One of the two men delivering were rude, the other was silent so who knows. The telephone rep they called when I said I was calling Home Depot, a Temco rep, was also flippant and rude. I got a manager at my Home Depot store on the phone that knew immediately it was Temco and said they are aware of their poor service but it's a corporate contract and they have no choice at the store level. I highly recommend paying your own person/people to pick up, deliver, and install whatever appliance you order. My experience is just like the 200 other ones. First thing out of his mouth "we can't do this", "we won't do that". He was willing to leave my old refrigerator just in my office outside of my kitchen but as a "favor for a 5 star rating on the survey" they put it in the garage. This is a combination of deceptive sales practices on the side of Home Depot and just all around horrific customer service on the side of Temco. Knowing that it's a contract and they are required to use Temco, I'll never buy another appliance needing delivery from Home Depot and will make sure my family and friends don't either. read more

Do you even have to give one star? Could I possibly give a zero star? Temco was hired through Home Depot to deliver our appliances, and I wish Home Depot would stop using them. Like so many others here, they provided an awful experience. They were supposed to install our appliances, but they refused. They claimed that the house was not ready for installation, even though it was and had been for about three weeks. When he argued the point with my wife, they started getting into a shouting match, and the delivery guy ordered his crew to load the appliances back on the truck and said "I don't have to put up with this." Even though my wife appealed to him to at least leave the appliances and not install them and offered to give them a tip (right?), the rude guy took off WITH OUR APPLIANCES THAT WE PAID FOR! A different person brought the appliances back two days later but our expensive overhead microwave was damaged beyond use. My wife saw them put the microwave back in the truck on the metal floor without any wrapping or container. I hope Home Depot makes them pay for it. If you are going to use Home Depot, ask them who they are hiring to deliver your goods. If it is Temco, do not use Home Depot or ask them to go with a different delivery company. read more

The next day I called Home Depot who immediately called Temco and a new delivery date was set. The first drivers did not tell the truth - could not find my location & I wasn't home when they called. Not true - I was home all day and don't they have a GPS? a telephone? a road map? I guess not. Severely disappointed in the delivery of my parents washer unit. My mom came home from work to receive the washer by the Temco delivery team. They offer a great service of picking up the old washer when delivering the new. Upon inspection on the hoses and lines the delivery guys determined that they could not install the new washer due to some corroded lines. An understandable decision to go ahead and leave the lines be as to not damage the home in anyway. However where the real issue comes is the delivery guys resistive manner of wanting to take the new washer back without being able to install. My Mom did not want her new washer to then sit in a warehouse when it was sitting on her living room floor. Both men clearly not well versed in having to deliver unfortunate news and felt the need to stick to policies that did not fit the situation. One of the guys was so dismissive of my Mom that she felt the need to get my Dad on the phone. Which was pretty sad. I'm not trying to stand on a gender equality soap box, but a woman should not have to feel the need to bring in a male figure in order to conduct business over a home appliance or any product for that matter. Based on her description of the altercation, that was the guy wanting to take the washer back to the warehouse, it sounds as though toxic masculinity is alive and well at Temco. The last thing a son that goes to help his Mom with setting up her washer is that she was disrespected and not listened to. On the flip side, the brand new leaf blower that was sitting on my front porch (inside the fenced yard) disappeared during the delivery! My Ring Video Doorbell shows the leaf blower on the property, and vanishing a minute later while the movers were walking in. Home Depot stepped up here. After several calls, I spoke to the manager of Home Depot who told me that I would not get anywhere with Temco. He said that he would save me time and stress, and would replace my leaf blower free of charge! Thank you, Home Depot! Temco, if you are reading this, I will sell you the battery charger that your employee will need to use the cordless leaf blower, for $60 cash. read more

What a hassle! Refrigerator purchased from Home Depot. Waited 1.5 months for this order to come in. At Home Depot, I twice specified a 1pm to-5pm delivery window (I work a split shift - afternoons are free ). Also specified a fridge door that swing opens on the right- as needed for my galley kitchen. Also pre-paid for removal of old fridge. 1. On the day before delivery, Temco delivery service confirmed a 1-5pm delivery window. The recorded phone message is on my phone today. However, subcontractor Carrillo Transport called at 11:30 am, 1.5 hours before the CONFIRMED time -- that they would be arriving in 20 minutes. I told them to please come back at 1pm - the scheduled time -- as I was in the middle of online teaching and couldn't leave it. The delivery truck driver said if I didn't take it, I'll need to call in to reschedule the delivery. He made it sound like a take-it-or-leave it situation. He wouldn't come back at 1:00 or later. I had waited so long for this fridge already. I chose to have the fridge brought in - and taking a cut in my hourly wage. Also documented. 2. While the delivery men were removing the hinges of my front door to get the fridge in- I was furiously rushing around to remove all food from my old refrigerator. Had they kept the confirmed appointment time - I would have had the chance to do that properly. 3. The new fridge was brought in to my kitchen. The old fridge put on the truck. Discovered the reverse door swing kit wasn't there. The delivery guys were supposed to reverse the door, this was specified on my sales receipt. 3. They asked me to sign a paper to take delivery. I said without the door installed correctly - in my narrow galley kitchen- not easy to get in and out of the fridge as it was set up. I decided I wouldn't take delivery. expected to have what I ordered, and asked them to bring back my old fridge. 4. My friend arrived to help oversee this fridge delivery. We both agreed not to take delivery, and to just get the old fridge returned back. The delivery driver said okay ---but that he already CUT the power CORD to my old fridge once it was on the truck - they always do that. That didn't sound right. Why would they cut a cord when a customers could reject a delivery? What type of scam is that? I reluctantly accepted the new fridge and signed for it, as they claimed my old fridge was now apparently without power and no good. 5. I asked when they'd come with the kit to reverse the door on the fridge. They weren't coming back - another service appointment would have to made. I'd have to make some calls. 6. I made multiple calls to the phone number on my receipt (G.E. Appliance Delivery). They said my appointment would be confirmed on Friday, and a service repairman would come on Saturday Jan. 23. He would come with the parts. 7. Waited for call on Friday -- no one called. 8. Saturday I waited all morning, expecting them that morning. Finally, at approx.11:30am I called G.E. to ask when the repairman would come. They said I was on the schedule, and he should be there by 2:30pm. The repairman should call me about 30 minutes before he arrives. 9. No one called me or came that day. 10. So I called them for the third time that Saturday. Navigating various phone menus, waiting on hold, explaining the situation yet again. One representative mentioned that the order wasn't written up correctly. Oh boy. 11. Now I have an appointment for Tuesday. Crossing fingers this appointment actually happens, and that someone comes with the correct parts. Why does this all happen? Home Depot doesn't deliver, but hires a subcontractor "G.E. Delivery" that then subcontracts to "Temco Delivery" that then subcontracts "Carrillo Transport" (in a rented Enterprise Rental truck - LoL!). So expect a chain of mis-communications --- and expect that no one is sure what's going on. Also, more fun: Expect that no subcontractor has CALLED ID when they do call. So expect to answer all junk calls-- it COULD BE the subcontractor you need to speak with. LoL! Never again. read more

Also, while the existing washer plastic pan had a piece cracked at the front to allow access to the filter, your team cracked it completely along the front. read more

Absolute worst delivery experience I've ever had. They showed up to install a new dishwasher and moved the old one and then claimed it would be unsafe to install it because of one tiny wood piece at the top that had come loose on one side. I was able to fix it very quickly but they still would not install the new dishwasher for some insane reason. I asked them to please continue with install and they refused and began to cuss at me to the point I did not feel safe with them in my home and began to video them in case I needed to call the police. I asked repeatedly for their supervisors name and number and they again refused to answer. Worst service ever and I still do not have the new dishwasher. read more

One of the worst customer service experiences ever. The first time they were going to deliver our dishwasher. When Sergio showed up he said he couldn't install it because of a valve and that we had to get a plumber out. A week later a plumber came out and turns the valve with no trouble at all. So then 2 weeks, and a plumber bill, later, we get our dishwasher installed. This time we are to get a microwave installed, 2 1/2 weeks after purchase (seems a bit excessive). Sergio shows up again and starts trying to unscrew a stripped bolt. After literally a couple of minutes of trying he gives up and says he doesn't have time to get it out and has to move on. My husband steps in and works the bolt and its slow going but he is making progress. Sergio insists they don't have time and need to move on. They leave us with a huge box in our living room! My husband got the bolt out within minutes. The company was apologetic but now they can't come back till Tuesday. I would think a company like Temco would reprimand a half-done employee like Sergio but from reading the reviews in sounds like all of their drivers are like this. It's a shame that Home Depot chooses to do business with such a bad company. read more

These deliveries were consistently smooth and expedient - no surprises - everything as I had arranged from Home Depot. Each time it has been the same two-man crew, always courteous and professional. If there were a way to request Temco, I definitely would. However, the choice of delivery sub-contractor appears to be solely at the discretion of the merchant, not the customer. My fiancé and I bought a dishwasher over a month ago from JC Penny. This company was supposed to deliver, and install our dishwasher. The first time they came, they weren't able to install our dishwasher due to a pipe being "corroded". So my fiancé and I decided to reschedule our installation and had a plumber come in to fix the issue. The next time they came, they didn't have our dishwasher. The rep said they were there to service the dishwasher. How can you service it if I dont have it? The third time, no one bothered to show up. After calling, my fiancé and I found out that our dishwasher never made it onto the truck and no one was coming. We both waited all day for them to come in and install. The fourth time, the dishwasher had a big dent in it, and they sent it back. They didn't check the product prior to delivering it. They have been here 3 more times since then, and each time they either don't have it or there is another reason why they aren't able to install our dishwasher. Didn't know installing a dishwasher can be this hard. Bought our dishwasher from Home Depot and these guys were responsible for delivery and installation. They said they can't do anything other than a standard quarter inch turn shutoff valve exposed under the sink. Ours was a quarter inch shutoff valve the only difference was that it was in a dry wall behind a plastic cover to hid away from plain sight. I even took the cover off to show them the shutoff valve. But they suggested we call a plumber to change that. It drove me nuts to call a plumber to have an inwall unit extending out just for that. It's utterly stupid. I ended up having to call a handy man to install it. I understand they don't want to be responsible etc but by this standard a mechanic shop will go out of business every time they see slightly different bolts and joints in a car. This has been a true nightmare and this company hides behind Home Depot customer service. But this was not Home Depots fault, this is all Temco. I purchased a new washing machine on homedepot.com with install over a week ago. I schedule the next available delivery which was 11-23-22. I received a email with a window between 12 pm and 4 pm. I schedule my busy work day to be at the house waiting I got a call from the driver at 1 pm saying he was 10 minutes away...... 4 pm I call him back no answer 4:15 pm I get a email saying sorry that we missed you, our driver is at your house but nobody was home. This is a lie, I was there at the front of my house waiting for 4 hours. When I call back to home depot they remark that it is strange that the driver did not take any pictures of a delivery tag like they are suppose too. Home depot reschedules for 11-25 delivery. Temco does not show up. After waiting an hour on hold I am told by Home Depot that Temco does not do next day deliveries so now I have to wait until Monday 11-28. I would like to point out that my machine is on their truck on the 11-23 and that Saturday 11-26 is three days after, NOT NEXT DAY! Temco driver lied and this company has no reason to make up for it because they are hidden from the customers. The home depot customer service lady said I was not suppose to know who TEMCO is but she let it slip. SO I want the public to know who these people are and what kind of shady business they are running. As a construction professional I take pride in my customer service. Customer loyalty is build when problems happen and good businesses go above and beyond to correct the issue. TEMPCO is NOT A GOOD BUSINESS read more
