Paid $17.99 for a full service wash on my Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. The car had bugs and bird poop since last wash a week ago in San Diego. They called me over to say it's done. You can see from 6 feet away yellow bug guts all over the hood and windshield. I called over the young blond kid manager dressed differently than the rest in shorts and a white shirt. I showed him the bugs and asked if this was how they washed cars. He said that's why I told you about having your car detailed, it was to get the car completely clean. I guess this generation has a different interpretation of a car wash for $17.99. I got a clean rag at home and removed all the bugs in 2 minutes! My window got cracked at this car wash about a year ago before I had yelp. Wanted to make a review now so it does not happen to you. I just started to cry when I saw it. I asked for manager and they denied denied denied. They would not even pay for my wash. I ended up getting it repaired and not replaced and they would not even split that with me. I had taken my Mercedes in for a mini detail and the guy who vacuums the car out does not close the rear passenger door. I watched in horror as my car went through the wash with the door partially open. When I brought it to the attention of the staff magically no one spoke English. My mom had asked one of the guys if she could do the $5 wash and pay a little extra so they could make sure all the bugs came off the front of her car. The boy said yes no problem (very nice boy). Then all of a sudden this RUDE man yells "NO absolutely not. You have a choice. Pick either the $5 wash or the $17 wash!" (DAVE said this in a completely disrespectful & rude attitude). So my mom said she would stick with the $5 wash. She had never done that wash before, so she wasn't aware that she was going to have to drive it thru the wash herself. As she was getting out of the car he YELLS, "Stay in the car! You're driving it thru, we aren't driving it for you since you picked the cheap wash!!!!" There was absolutely NO reason for this man to speak to my mother like that!! The very very kind boy that directed her into the car wash scrubbed the front of the car for her for free. She didn't have the car in neutral so the rack was making a noise and that jerk of a man (Dave) went and yelled at the boy for not telling her to put it in neutral! I paid $54.99 for a mini detail and was extremely disappointed with the results. The car was not clean and not even one single window was clean. When I complained about it, the servicer said that a thorough wash was not included in that price and that I would have to pay again for another service. Paid extra for hand wash, inside detail etc $65. Half ass job left with dusty dash and pine needles still between my hood and windshield. No attention to detail. We feed these businesses so much business they don't give a crap. I noticed that the pine needles were still there as I was walking up. Handed him a deserving $1 tip, which I thought was reasonable with how the truck was cleaned. They probably didn't expect a white boy to understand their Spanish- I have news for you... I am fluent. Never leave anything valuable in your car! Just had my car washed forget to take a $20 filled up bill from the center console (my bad). It wasn't there when I got back in and 2 other items that were inside the console were on the passenger seat. I literally juat drove away after paying for a $50 car wash with dirty rims and an interior that may have been lightly dusted. When I asked the technician about it his words verbatim were "yea thats an upgrade $39.99 package....they like to nickle and dime people and make their money." In shock I called and asked to speak to a manager. The manager hastily gets on the phone with an abrupt HELLO....I asked who I was speaking with (so as to have a name for reference) and he snaps "No who is this" I replied with "One of your long standing customers" ...anyway Dave, the manager basically argues with me that I didnt select the proper package to have the Interior cleaned (after paying $50) and gave little to no response on his techniciana comments about nickle and diming. I have been using this car wash for some time, mostly because it is close to the house...not for its service or attention to detail. Last Saturday however was the final straw - we have a Honda Odyssey with a plastic liner in the way-back that had some sand in it. I asked the vacuuming attendant to get the sand out and he told me it would be an additional $3 for that service! What? I just paid $20.99 for a car wash and that is extra? Now I am not talking about a sand castle that needed to be removed, just the sprinkling that came of the boogies board and it was on the plastic liner, not embedded in the carpet... I am sure that some requests are unreasonable but this was not, and so I have decided to take my business elsewhere. Fuck these guys! I paid 50$ for their " Works " plus another 10$ to clean the floor Mats. They took my truck and finished in 5 minutes. There were bug guts left on the grill, windows and mirrors. No one spoke English, and I was pissed. When they whistled at me like I was part of the Hispanic childhood gang they belonged too, when my truck was finished " after 5 minutes " the guy who whistled at me.... all 5 ft 5 in. Of him with a tear drop tattoo on his face stuck his hand out like he was expecting a tip. After a quick walk around the truck, the bugs were still on the grill, and the windshield. The floor mats, which I paid 10$ for were completely untouched. The inside of the doors were wet and dirty. And the cup holders had crap in them. Just as I left them. I like the car wash, BUT, across from the car wash they also own a lube service. The lube service advertises a "FREE CAR WASH" with a oil change. But, when I looked at the oil change paperwork, they charged me $21.00 for the "FREE CAR WASH". Horrible place for a carwash. I paid $30 for the works service. When I checked in he asked if I wanted to have the inside wiped with armor all for $10 more. I said no. When they were done and I left I notice that the car was not even wiped at all. I called to complain and he said that the works only consists of wiping the dash. Wtf, how are you going to pay for the works and they don't touch the inside. Not only that the WORKS was the only one that included air freshener. He said the clerk will give you the scents to choose from. I pick an air fresher and it was a Lil square with scent on it. My experience at the car wash wasn't bad. Service was good. Although the ticket writer said he was gonna give me $2 off and didn't which doesn't matter bc it's $2. I loved my wash, but I got and inside outside wash, and the didn't wipe down my cup holders or my center console. Left a bunch of crumbs all over my car. And really why would I want to look at a bunch of crumbs still in my car when I spend $25 and left a tip. I'm just saying I should've just got an outside wash. I paid $70 for a regular wash & to have the inside of the car detailed. When I came back to get my car there was actually dirt on the seats and the matts. I paid extra to have the matts cleaned and they didn't do that either. I was in town for a soccer tournament and one of the kids had a little accident in the backseat and threw up on the floor I went to the car wash to see how much they would charge to clean the little area where he had his accident which was about maybe a foot square when the guy looked a it he said just this small area oh that will be 150.00 . They didnt even vacuum it well and there wasnt much to vacuum.. they let my car dry in the sun then just wiped it down. Door jambs and trunk jamb not wiped dry. Rims not wiped.. windows streaky. this place is way overpriced for what you get. For this kind of service you can save money and use a gas station drive thru carwash. I would give zero stars if I could. I have never been treated so poorly as I just was at this specific car wash. I went back to complain about a wash I felt was sub par. I called and the lady who answered the phone was very nice and said to bring it back. All of the employees were all very nice. Then a man came out to talk about it and when I was conveying what I thought was wrong with the service, he was very aggressive from the beginning and said, "well what do you want?" I spoke about what I felt was sub par and he then replied in the most condescending tone with, "well you did get get a car wash. Where are you from? Is English even your first language? Do you understand English?"I then calmly asked to speak to a different manager or the owner. This man was the owner. By the way I am not from America but unfortunately I do not speak any other languages other than English, I wish I did! But this was definitely not a lost in translation situation. I bought a Groupon the other day for 3 deluxe car washes for $33. I'm glad I found this deal because after seeing the work that they did on our Expedition neither he or I were very happy and I would have been pissed if I had paid full price. Dirt and bird poop were still left behind in on the car and the rims were horrible. Also the vacuum job was a joke. My husband said that he pointed out the dirty rims and they re did it but they were still left filthy. My husband was beyond annoyed and just left and finished the car when he got home. My groupon is also good at the Rancho Car Wash so I will try them next but I will never, EVER go to Temecula Car Wash again. read more
