We LOVE Temecula Montessori Academy! I hold Master of Education and Bachelor of Human Development degrees so it goes without saying I am pretty picky when it comes to choosing an academic or childcare environment for my child. Our son has been with TMA for almost two years. The school's name is a good indicator of how the classrooms are managed; a beautiful and well organized Montessori environment with an academic emphasis. The school's Director, Miss Melinda is the authoritative pillar of the school and ensures all students' emotional, physical, and academic well-being are watched over. The teachers are nothing short of amazing. My son is smart, challenging, and full of energy. When concerns have arisen about his classroom behavior (e.g. difficulty focusing on tasks or acting silly at inappropriate times) his teachers have readily communicated with me and collaborated with healthy ways to change this behavior. My son is very, very proud of himself and I am certain he is developing a great deal of intrinsic motivation he will benefit from throughout his life. I do want to address some of the comments/concerns noted here as I was surprised by some inaccuracies. The school is not "closed a lot." Spring Break is one week and has been for the past two years my son has attended. I find in comparison to the public schools there are far fewer closures at TMA. The hours are incredibly flexible giving parents the opportunity to choose extended day (early drop off/late pick up), full day (~8am-3pm) or half days. The number of days per week is also flexible. The infant room is not "open for anyone." In fact, all entrances to the school are secured with a combination pin pad lock. If you don't have the code you can not enter without a staff/faculty escort. There is an annual supplies fee and a supplemental supply list for each classroom. Last year I spent less than $50 on the Pre-K supplies list. I am more than happy to provide these supplies and the additional fees to ensure the school has more than sufficient supplies for the success and enjoyment of all students. Having worked in public elementary schools I found TMA's list to be no different and given the fact that TMA is private the additional supplies/materials fees is something I fully expected. Field trips and special events are extra of course and worth the cost! There are so many amazing and fun events planned throughout the year. I wish I could attend the "Summer Camp" program myself! My husband and I were looking for an academically based preschool for our son to attend on the commencement of his second birthday. As I passed the Temecula Montessori Academy each day, at least twice a day, in route to and from my office I figured I would give them a call and set up a tour. Upon arrival, my husband and I were immediately impressed. We were able to review the students work that was displayed throughout each of the class rooms and see the students involved in their daily classroom activities. Teacher/student ratio was tremendously important to us because our son was coming from an environment where he had "one-on-one" interaction with his caregiver. So we wanted to make sure that the staffing would accommodate the type of attention and interaction that he was used to. Well boy were we in for so much more! From the very beginning, Miss Kristy and her classroom assistant were so loving and nurturing! They were very detailed in their communications with me and did so many wonderful things to accommodate the transition. He soon became the life of the classroom. Moving on to Mrs Renuka's class where she continued to nurture and teach our son so many educational fundamentals. She has such a loving personality! She would strive daily to keep our son pointed in the right direction with his academics, manners and attitude. The academic foundation and structure she has in her classroom has helped in so many ways, to shape and mold our son into the young boy that he is today. And to this day, he does not like to leave school until he has had an opportunity to walk around in her classroom and give her a big hug. The entire staff, from Mrs Melinda to all the teachers that have either taught our son or who have had any interaction with our family, have had a huge impact on our lives. I love love love the open communication and information that is shared. Resources for academics along with the dedicated attention each teacher gives to the students to help them learn and develop has been awesome! From being in Mrs. Jodi's classroom to now being in Mrs. Devi's classroom, we have seen our son develop and expand academically by leaps and bounds! He already has a passion for learning and will certainly be well equipped for Kindergarten in the fall (2016). Thank you.... to all of the great teachers and leadership staff! Wow! I can't believe how Temecula Montessori Academy just keeps getting better! My eldest daughter went here from pre-K to 2nd grade and they instilled in her a love for reading like you could not believe! She is 17 now and getting ready for college and we know that Temecula Montessori Academy helped pave the road to success. The most important time to instill in a child is when they are young, and I know that Montessori helped our daughter be the person she is, because they stand by the "The Promise" the kids pledge to every day. They helped instill great values in her daily walk and many different Montessori options in learning. They understand that not all children learn the same way and cater to each individual child. This is one of our favorite things about the school. This school year, we enrolled our second daughter into pre-K, and I am even more impressed with them. Our daughter just turned 5, and she reading at a second grade level and she is doing first/second grade math, after only one year here! I love that she loves going to school and she can't wait for the weekend to be over so she can go back. Her teacher is so sweet and so amazing! My daughter is a very active girl and her teacher has helped her a lot this year to be responsible for herself and her actions. The director of the school, Melinda, is amazing too! She has been there forever and is very involved in the school. I volunteer at the school, I have seen her many times walking around the classrooms and the kids love her. My husband and I were going to enroll her into public school next year for Kindergarten, but we have decided to keep her at Montessori for as long as possible. My wife, Denisse, and I have had the pleasure of having our kids attend Temecula Montessori for about 2 years now and could not be happier with the quality of education our children (4 and 7 years old) are receiving. What impressed me most when initially touring the school was the base of confidence, cordiality and genuine interest with which the children received us as visitors. They exuded precisely the kind of sophistication, self-assuredness and curiosity that we would hope to foster in our kids. Add to that the gifted, committed and engaged teachers and director (Ms. Melinda), and we have almost the perfect school. I say "almost" only because Temecula Montessori unfortunately only goes through the 2nd grade. Given that our preschooler is already reading and doing simple arithmetic, and our first grader is reading at at least a third-grade level, we will certainly be keeping them through whatever grade level Ms. Melinda offers. read more

I give, this learning facility to be one of the best programs in Temecula California. Many any years ago, my children, now adults attended this school. now their children are attending. Wow my grandchildren are attend the same preschool their parents went to , Temecula Montessori Academy. where the staff that teaches your children with love and care. I have nothing but good words and good thoughts. With a clean and safe environment children's seem to be very happy to go to school. they learned very well by the time my children's attended Public Schools they were very advanced . As a new mommy, I was hesitant to start my 3 month old in daycare. Nervous that he won't receive the love, attention, and care that he deserves. But, Temecula Montessori and the amazing Teachers proved me otherwise!!! Miss Rhonda, Miss Kathy, Miss Arial, Miss Mimi and the director Miss Melinda (& the other teachers who come in to visit or say "Hi Logan" as we walk in) provide my baby boy (now 9 months) such an enriching environment! I truly feel that they really love my baby! They helped develop his sitting up, crawling, eating, playing and learning skills! I now drop Logan off knowing he is going to have a great time, learn, sleep well, and be happy by the time I pick him up. Plus, they are so very flexible with my ever-changing schedule! Love Temecula Montessori Academy! Both my kids have attended school here since 2 yrs old & they have been like family to me. Both my nephews have also have gone to this school & have had the same amazing teachers for 10 yrs now. They have always been ahead going into public school after attending the Montessori academy & have a great time learning at their own pace as well. They always do fun outdoor play learning field trips. I love all the amazing staff and teacher here & 100% trust my kids with them. It's an open class environment so never have to worry about any baby/child teacher being left alone. They have helped teach both my kids to talk & potty train & read. We love TMA! Where should I begin? The teachers are so sweet and caring, so communicative, they send us pictures about how our kids doing, especially when they first got there. They answer our questions about how is our baby doing at school. They understand mom's heart worries even there's nothing to be worried about. And Lunch! They provide complimentary nutrition lunch so I don't have to get up early to prepare my kids lunch box. My kids love school and told me about their day at school all the time. Highly recommended! And the good thing about Montessori school, I noticed significant behavioral growth in my 2 year old boy, he starts to pick up things after playing, counting the numbers, and a lot more! read more

LOVE THIS SCHOOL!! My son has been going to this school since he was 3 years old and he always comes home happy and ready to learn the next day. The teachers are always there to answer your questions as well as they care a lot for the kids. For 1st grade I decided to switch my son to another school and within the first month I regretted it. Immediately contacted Ms. Melinda and had my son go back to Montessori. I noticed the quality of education is superb in the Temecula Montessori program and my son tested way above his grade level at 1st grade. I just want to recommend this school for any age, the staff members here are excellent, they're always making sure I'm happy and my daughter as well, they are very understanding. My daughter and I love miss Nina, she's great! The infant room is full of Love! My daughter can say up to 30 words, she also can identify her mouth, nose, and eyes! I now have two kids that have attended this school and can say that the staff truly cares about the children's learning. I appreciate the well thought out curriculum that is planned, the small class feel particularly in the TK Elementary School classrooms, and the friendly, welcoming staff in the Infant and Preschool Classrooms. My son has been going to temecula montessori since he was 2. He is now 6 and reads at a 2nd grade level. Hes very advanced for his age. I'm so happy i made the choice to keep him there. All of the teachers are very helpful and really show how much they care about my sons education. read more

My son started in the infant room when he was 7 months old, he is now 22 months and loves going everyday! Miss Rhonda and the other teachers are great and always keep him busy. He brings home the cutest art projects and is already learning colors, counting, and his ABC's! read more
