In 1993 while one of his lawyer friends was being prosecuted for a felony DUI with bodily injury, and exhibiting unethical behavior themselves, he publicly called on the California Bar Association to hammer down on lawyers showing unethical behavior 2. Rocky is one of only two adults with a professional title (the other being a therapist who worked under him named Lindy Smith) involved with my parents divorce who actually told the truth. Because of Rocky's former company Solutions, and Lindy, my father was able to see exactly how his problem with alcohol was affecting me and successfully quit drinking.

I would recommend RMR to anyone that has been through treatment before and needs a "reset" on life. The atmosphere is conducive to healing, recovery, and "to give yourself a break". It is always helpful to have a group of fellow alcoholics/addicts that want a better life for themselves, the group does matter!

My experience with this program was extremely disappointing and distressing…read more I was transported by Uber approximately two hours away from my home to attend this program. After I expressed concerns about my care and advocated for my own medical decisions because I felt something wasn't right, I was taken to a hospital in Temecula and then left there. I ultimately chose to leave the hospital against medical advice because I believed the treatment being proposed was unrelated to why I had been brought there. The program later dropped off my luggage at the hospital but expected me to arrange and pay for my own transportation home, which cost more than $150. Since they arranged for me to travel there in the first place, I felt abandoned and unsupported. As someone who is legally disabled, this situation created significant hardship. I have repeatedly contacted the program requesting the return of the rest of my belongings and reimbursement for the transportation home. To date, I have not received a response. Based on my experience, I did not feel respected, heard, or treated with dignity. I felt that my concerns and personal autonomy were disregarded throughout the process. One additional concern I observed was that staff was constantly on their phones, all thru my intake which did not get completed and patients were allowed to use cell phones in ways that, in my opinion, raised privacy concerns. I cannot recommend this program based on my experience. Thankfully, I sought treatment elsewhere and am grateful to say that I am now clean and sober. If you're looking for a program where you'll feel supported and respected, I encourage you to carefully research your options before choosing this facility.

The first day there included a care conference with family, case manager, social worker, nurses, aides, physical therapist and Dr. Rolando Gutierrez. The plan of care was created after careful listening by the doctor and the staff to patient/family concerns. The plan was then implemented consistently over his 6 week stay. The nurses and case manager maintained necessary updates while also responding to my calls in real time. They were all professional and thoughtful. The facility itself is modern, clean and has large patient rooms. The physical therapy room is also large, modern and welcoming. There is a place for patients to safely sit outside. We feel fortunate in having the recovery phase in this skilled nursing facility. When we really needed help the staff who work in this modern facility came through beautifully.
